Preparation:

1. Wash the rice several times until the water in the plate with the rice stops becoming cloudy, transfer it to a pan, pour water level with the rice and put the pan on low heat.

  4. Prepare mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes: drain the water, knead, add sour cream, egg, salt, spices, mix well.

  1. Boil or stew the cabbage, skipping the frying stage;
  2. We make puree using water, replacing eggs and sour cream with a couple of tablespoons of flour.

  1. Place the cabbage, divided into inflorescences and washed, into salted boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.

  • spoon of flour;
  • salt, spices;
  • ground crackers;
  • sunflower oil.

The cooking recipe involves the following steps:

  1. Rinse the cabbage head, cut into large pieces, removing the stalk, and boil in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. Then drain the water, discarding the boiled vegetable in a colander.
  2. Lightly fry the chopped onion in a frying pan (about 2 minutes).
  3. Add the chopped mushrooms and fry for about 7 minutes until browned (raw mushrooms take a little longer to fry).
  4. Stir in flour and continue frying for another minute.
  5. After this, stir in the spices, salt, pour in a little water and simmer until the mass thickens.
  6. First, distribute the cabbage and then the mushroom mixture evenly into the oiled form. Coat the surface with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

  • herbs, spices, salt.

Step-by-step recipe for preparing Ukrainian lasagna:

  1. I put the cabbage in boiling water, let it sit for 5-7 minutes, then separate it into leaves. I cut off the thickenings of each leaf, and then cut it in half lengthwise.
  2. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. I divide the onion in half: mix half with carrots. I grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  3. I chop the mushrooms into thin slices and boil for 10 minutes, after which I drain the boiling water and pour cold water over them.
  4. I fry the onions and carrots in vegetable oil, add the minced meat, and fry until done. I add a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. I add mushrooms. Fry for 10 minutes, salt, add flour, milk and stew, stirring constantly, 5 minutes.
  6. I add processed cheese and finely chopped parsley to the mushrooms.
  7. On a baking sheet lined with parchment, place a layer of cabbage leaves, sprinkle with grated cheese and add half of the meat filling.
  8. I put half the mushrooms on top, then there is a cabbage layer, grated cheese, meat filling and a mushroom layer.
  9. I cover the top with cabbage, thickly grease it with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  10. I put the dish in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, and bake for about an hour.
  11. 5 minutes before it’s ready, sprinkle the casserole with finely chopped herbs.

Per 100 grams: 110 kcal.

I serve it to the table in the same form in which it was baked. You can use paper to remove the casserole from the pan and serve on a platter.

Tip: the casserole turns out to be very filling, so you shouldn’t serve it for dinner. It is better to prepare it for Sunday lunch or holiday table.

Hearty chicken casserole

Not exactly dietary, but very tasty and satisfying, this potato and cabbage casserole with meat is obtained. I usually make this casserole for lunch. It is intended for all family members; children will also benefit from this dish. It’s not difficult to make such a hearty casserole; I also use the simplest ingredients for it:

  • boiled chicken meat – 300 gr.;
  • a small head of white cabbage;
  • one onion;
  • 6 boiled potatoes;
  • 100 gr. hard cheese;
  • medium sized carrots;
  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • 3 spoons of sour cream;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

The dish is prepared in the following way:

  1. I shred the cabbage, finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  2. I fry the onion in vegetable oil, add carrots, seasonings, add cabbage and wait until the mixture reaches a golden color.
  3. Beat eggs with sour cream until smooth and foamy.
  4. I cut 5 potatoes into slices, which I place in a greased mold.
  5. I put boiled meat on top of the potatoes and cabbage on top. I distribute it evenly.
  6. I place one potato cut into slices on top, sprinkle with meat and grated cheese on top.
  7. Place the prepared dish in the oven for 25 minutes.
