How to make the most delicious yogurt ice cream with your own hands

To get a natural, healthy dessert, it is best to choose a fermented milk product without aromatic additives as a base. If desired, you can give it a fruity taste by adding your favorite fruits fresh from the garden or freezer.

We suggest using raspberries, but it can also be strawberries, currants, peach - any fruit or berry. Honey in the recipe, if desired, can be replaced with powdered sugar, adding it to taste.

  1. We take the fermented milk product and put it in a deeper container, where we will mix the ingredients.
  2. Add the fruits, crushed to a mushy state, and stir.
  3. There is still honey left - put it in the base for your favorite dessert and knead it too.
  4. Place the container with the frozen base in the freezer. The initial hardening time is 1 hour.
  5. When the time is up, remove the container and use a high-speed blender to beat the dessert again. This will need to be done 2-3 more times to get a perfectly homogeneous dessert consistency. The sequence of actions is as follows: mixing, freezer, whisk again and into the cold.

When the treat reaches the ideal thickness and uniformity, you can taste it. The most successful decoration before serving is a few berries, from which fruit puree is made, for each frozen ball.

Homemade sweet yoghurt ice cream

It is not always possible to find fermented milk products without additives on the store shelf. But its sweetened and flavored variety is also a suitable option for a cold dessert. Considering the concentration of sugar in it, the additional portion of sweetener should be reduced.

Ingredients

  • Fruit-based yogurt (5 percent) – 500 ml.
  • Fresh berry pulp – 300 g.
  • Powdered sugar - about 50 g.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.

Armed with a more powerful blender, we turn the prepared berry fruits into a fragrant puree. Pour lemon juice and yogurt into it, stir until the mass becomes homogeneous. After tasting it, sweeten it to your own taste.
You shouldn’t add too much powder, otherwise the treat risks becoming cloying and losing its refreshing properties.

High-quality freezing will take 3-4 hours, but the resulting dessert will be excellent - cool and healthy.

Homemade yoghurt ice cream with lemon

If you combine lemon zest, a product made from sour milk and sweeten the mixture, you get the most delicate taste and aroma of summer freshness. With such a dessert, even the “thickest” heat will not be scary.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt – 200 ml.
  • Ripe lemon fruits – 2 medium-sized pieces.
  • Heavy cow's cream – 400 ml.
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g.

How to make original yogurt ice cream

Since we use fresh fruits, we first need to wash them and then remove the juicy skin. There is no need to throw it in the trash bin - it’s better to grind the zest on a grater and combine it with powder, flavoring it with freshly made lemon juice. You need to let the sweet and sour mixture stand until the powder is completely dispersed.

For now, let's get to the cream. They need to be turned into a thick foam using a powerful mixer. When this happens, combine the resulting butter cream and yogurt, stirring with a mixer. The duration of this painstaking process is 2-3 minutes.

The last stage of preparing your favorite dessert is combining the creamy yogurt mass with the lemon component. We recommend adding juice and zest to it gradually, without ceasing to work with the mixer.

The resulting cold mixture is then sent to the coldest place in the refrigerator. In a couple of hours it will be ready to eat. If you want to get maximum homogeneity of your favorite homemade delicacy, you need to beat the already frozen mass several times according to the scheme from the previous recipe.
