Desired baby ovulation calendar. Ovulation calendar for calculating favorable days for conceiving a child

One of the decisive factors for women planning pregnancy is their menstrual cycle. Timing sexual intercourse with a partner on certain days of the menstrual cycle around the time of ovulation can significantly increase the chances of getting pregnant. Before calculating the most favorable days for conception, you need to better know the features of your cycle and learn how to track it correctly.

Steps

Part 1

Understanding the menstrual cycle

Identify the key stages of your menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle has several stages, but this does not mean that you can conceive a child throughout the cycle. The assumption that a woman can become pregnant at any stage of the menstrual cycle is a myth. The truth is that you can only get pregnant on the most fertile days, before and after ovulation. Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary and travels down the fallopian tube, where it is fertilized by a sperm. The phases of the menstrual cycle are as follows:

Determine favorable days for conception. This is the period of your menstrual cycle when you are more likely to get pregnant after having sex. For most women, the fertile period for conception lasts about six days.

    • Remember that sexual intercourse on auspicious days does not guarantee pregnancy by 100%. But your chances of getting pregnant will increase significantly if intercourse occurs within 5 days before ovulation and 24 hours after it. Healthy young couples typically have a 20-37% chance of getting pregnant using this system.
  1. Determine if your menstrual cycle is regular. Every woman has a different menstrual cycle, which can change due to external factors such as stress. The best way to determine if you have a regular cycle, that is, how closely each subsequent cycle matches the previous one, is to track its duration for three to four months.

    • Mark the first day of your period on a calendar. Label it as Day One. Then count down the days until your next menstrual cycle. Remember that the average menstrual cycle lasts 28 days, but it can also last from 21 to 35 days.
    • Do this for three to four months. Pay attention to the difference in the duration of each cycle.
  2. Pay attention to the irregularity of the cycle. You may have an irregular cycle if after three to four months of tracking your menstrual cycle you do not notice a pattern. This happens to many women and can be attributed to a number of factors, such as sudden weight loss, increased physical activity, stress, or serious health problems. Check with your doctor if you have an irregular cycle to see if you have a serious medical condition. Women with irregular cycles can still determine their most fertile days, it just takes more time and effort than women with regular cycles.

    Part 2

Determination of favorable days for conception
    1. Use the length of the menstrual cycle to determine the most fertile days for conception. If you have regular periods, you can determine fertile days by tracking the length of your menstrual cycle. The most favorable days for conception will be six days before and during ovulation. But the most favorable days will be three days before and during ovulation. Use the duration of your menstrual cycle to determine the most favorable period for conception by counting 14 days from the total duration of the menstrual cycle:

    2. Check your body temperature or use an ovulation tracker if you have irregular periods. If you have an irregular cycle or think it is broken, use other methods to track your ovulation days:

      • Monitor body temperature. During ovulation, body temperature rises. Check if you have a "heat shift" by taking your temperature every morning at the same time. Most women experience a half degree deviation in body temperature 24 to 48 hours after ovulation. You can use a regular thermometer or buy a special thermometer to measure your basal body temperature.
      • Buy a kit to determine the period of ovulation. Look for one at your local pharmacy. While this is more expensive than measuring your temperature, it will help you determine when you are ovulating more accurately. This kit will test your urine and determine the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in it. You will need to urinate on the test sticks to determine when this hormone rises. This is a sign that one of your ovaries is about to release an egg, or that you are about to ovulate.
      • Watch for changes in the mucus secreted by the cervix. Before ovulation, your body will start throwing out large amounts of thin, clear mucus from your cervix. This substance helps the sperm to get into the egg. Just before ovulation starts, you will notice mucus on your underwear or around your vagina. It will be transparent, viscous and slippery, like the white of a raw egg. You can collect a sample of cervical mucus by lightly rubbing the vaginal opening with a piece of cloth or a clean finger. If you checked for discharge within one day and did not notice mucus, most likely this is not the most favorable period for conception.
    3. Enter into an intimate relationship at the most favorable period for conception. Most doctors recommend having sex with a partner every day or every other day for the five days before ovulation and for the day after. While sperm live in a woman's body for five days, an egg usually has a lifespan of 12 to 24 hours, so having sex before, during, and after ovulation will increase your chances of getting pregnant.

      • Focus on sexual intercourse during the most favorable period for conception or three to five days before ovulation. Don't wait for ovulation to start, because by the time the sperm enters your body, the egg will no longer be ready for fertilization.
      • If you are under 35 and have had sex on your most fertile days in the last 12 months but have not gotten pregnant, or if you are over 35 and have tracked fertile days for six months with no results, talk with a doctor to assess your fertility. You and your partner can have a fertility test to determine if you have any health problems that are preventing you from getting pregnant.

Having decided to give birth to a baby, a woman has to go through many preliminary procedures, preparing the body for the process of childbearing. But among other things, you need to develop your own ovulation calendar, based on well-known facts and the principles of its compilation.

What is a female ovulation calendar

The female ovulation calendar represents the marked dates of menstruation, ovulation and favorable dates for conception. To master the principles of its compilation, it is necessary to clearly understand how ovulation occurs, what precedes it, and which days can be effective for fertilization.

How does ovulation proceed?

Every body produces an egg every month. There are situations when two or more of them can form, but such cases are infrequent. Under normal conditions, the processes proceed in the following order:

  1. Several fluid-filled vesicles appear in the ovary. This occurs immediately after the onset of bleeding during menstruation.
  2. One bubble begins to develop rapidly, increasing in size.
  3. In it, the future cell is born, which gradually forms until the follicle reaches 20-25 mm. The rest of the bubbles have already disappeared by this point.
  4. The cell breaks through the shell of the vesicle, freeing itself. At this point, she already fully meets the characteristics of the egg and is ready for the fertilization procedure.
  5. Once in the genital tract, it gradually moves forward. If at the same time there is contact with male cells, then it will approach the uterus and intrude into the endometrium. With successful implantation, the process of embryo development begins.
  6. In the absence of spermatozoa, the cell dies after 24 hours. The rest of it is excreted with menstrual bleeding.
  7. A corpus luteum grows at the site of the rupture of the membrane. It is necessary for the production of a hormone that affects the normal development of the embryo and the process of fertilization.

At each stage, a different type of hormone acts on the body, the content of which increases in a specific period. Under their influence, some physiological characteristics also change, by which it is easy for a woman to recognize the processes taking place in her.

Preliminary calculations and observations

Today you can download an ovulation calendar or calculate it yourself. In any case, you need to know your performance, for which you should follow the body for a while. You need to get a calendar and paint over the dates of menstruation in it. Based on the dates marked, it is easy to make certain calculations and clarify such points:

  • By counting the number of days between the marked numbers, a woman will find out the length of her cycle. This is a key indicator for calculating ovulation. Normally, it is 25-29 days, but some deviations are possible. With indicators of 21 or 35 days, it is necessary to consult a gynecologist. A short or long parameter indicates an abnormal functioning of the body. Perhaps you just need to lead a healthier life or change your diet, or you may need to drink a course of vitamins or hormones to bring the rhythms back to normal.
  • It is necessary to compare the length indicator in different months. Ideally, it should be the same with an error of one day. If the fluctuations in the length of the rhythm in a woman are very significant, this indicates irregularity. Stress, taking hormonal drugs, changing living conditions (climate) can lead to failures. If, after eliminating the cause, the rhythms have not returned to normal, a more in-depth examination should be carried out with subsequent treatment. You should not worry about a one-time failure, an isolated case does not indicate a problem. In a healthy body, a one-time failure is quite possible once a year.
  • Observe the process of menstruation. If the bleeding each time has the same characteristics, abundance, frequency, duration, it’s not very worrying. If jumps are observed, this may indicate a disease. Different characteristics of menstruation are normal only for a young girl at the stage of formation of a function or for an adult lady during menopause.

Making an ovulation calendar

So, by marking dates and controlling the main characteristics of the cycle, a woman receives her menstruation calendar. Based on it, an ovulation calendar is compiled, according to which it is quite simple to calculate favorable dates for productive acts.

Phases of the female cycle

To draw up an ovulation schedule, you need to understand when the cell exits in a particular case. The female cycle is divided into two phases:

  • Follicular. It starts from the first day of menstruation and ends with the release of the cell.
  • Luteal. Lasts from ovulation to the onset of menstruation.

Ovulation itself occurs between them and lasts about 1-3 days. The first period is different in length for each woman. The rate of development of the follicle depends on the content of the level of estrogen and its increase in the right proportions with gradual growth.

But the second period is the same for everyone. This is explained by the time of the functioning of the corpus luteum. It is a ruptured Graaffian vesicle, the walls of which collapse (after the cell exits), and due to lipids and luteal pigment changes color to yellow. After cell death, the corpus luteum ceases to produce the hormone necessary for the development of pregnancy and is structurally destroyed. In general, it takes 14 days. In exceptional cases, there are indicators of 12-13 days, but this is rare.

Calculation of ovulation days

To compile an ovulation calendar and calculate favorable days for conception, it is necessary to identify the date on which the follicle rupture occurs. Knowing the second indicator, it is easy to determine the first: subtract 14 from the cycle. For example, with a length of 27 days, the cell will be ready for fertilization on day 13 (27-14 = 13) after the start of menstruation.

Thus, on your calendar, you can count the received number from the previously marked monthly dates and paint over the days of ovulation for each month. If a woman, according to early observations, had rhythmic processes, it is easy to prescribe forecasts:

  • monthly dates, counting the length of the cycle from the previous
  • dates of ovulation, adding to the days of menstruation the length of the calculated first phase

Online Calendar - Usability

If you don’t want to do the calculations yourself, you can get a calendar online, but you need to imagine how to calculate ovulation in women. Today, such a service is very common and accessible. You need to drive your criteria into the calculator parameters:

  • duration of intermenstrual periods
  • start date of last menstrual period
  • duration of bleeding
  • number of months for calendaring

The calculator works on the basis of the same formulas and algorithms that we discussed above, and therefore will show a similar result. After the analytics, the woman will receive calendars for the following months with the numbers already marked in them. This is very convenient and allows you to save the result for observation and planning. On the days painted on them, it is also required to carry out productive acts if there is a desire to conceive a baby. But in view of the errors in the calculations and the peculiarities of the vital activity of cells, acts can be appointed even earlier than this date.

Such calendars also help to keep track of rhythms and failures. For example, when menstruation occurs earlier or later than the specified date, it is clear that the date of ovulation will also change and must be recalculated.

Boy or girl conception calendar

If you want to calculate the ovulation calendar online on our calculator, then you can order a forecast regarding the sex of the newborn, which depends on the date of intercourse and fertilization. To do this, it is enough to tick the box “enable gender forecast” in the corresponding column. As a result, the following marks will be put on the calendar for each month:

  • days of menstruation
  • numbers that promote the conception of a girl (3 days)
  • dates on which conception will lead to the birth of a boy
  • day of release of the egg

Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that the girl is predicted if the act is carried out three days the day before ovulation, and the boy directly on this day, the next and the day before. It is worth noting that this forecast was not invented, but identified by experts.

Features of predicting the sex of the baby

To understand the factors that influence the sex assignment of male or female chromosomes, you need to remember the basics of anatomy:

  • XX: if a spermatozoon with X chromosomes makes contact with a female cell, the embryo acquires a female sex;
  • XY: when fertilized by Y-spermatozoa, a son is born.

The female cell itself has no effect on gender. This is due to the presence of only X chromosomes in her. So, we know what type of male cell we need. And how to influence that it was he who produced the fertilization? It's easy enough if you know the characteristics of each of them.

The best days to conceive a boy

If we need to draw up an ovulation calendar for the conception of a boy, we should be guided by the following concepts:

  • Y cells are very fast and mobile. They easily outperform X-cells, which are not competitors in speed.
  • Y lives very little - only a day.

Knowing these factors, it is clear that when the spermatozoa enter the body, the cell must already be in the genital tract. At the same time, Y will easily catch up with her, but X will not have time. Therefore, the best days for the birth of a son are the exact moments of ovulation. In the online calendar, days are taken both the day before and after, because it is not easy to identify the specific moment of the appearance of the cell only by calculations. And she lives only a day, as we remember. The woman herself has the opportunity to confirm this point in several ways:

  • Run tests. The easiest way to see the change in hue on the strip, which is typical for a surge in LH levels. And this happens on the eve of the rupture of the follicle.
  • The appearance of specific secretions. Before the bubble ruptures, the mucus, under the influence of the estrogen that has grown in concentration, is significantly liquefied and appears outward. In view of its absence in the first period of the cycle, this fact cannot be ignored. Slime is characterized by transparency, density and abundance. In other periods, there is no discharge of this type, as other hormones act.
  • Swelling of the mammary glands. It is observed immediately after the rupture of the bubble, when the hormone progesterone is already acting.

The best days to conceive a girl

If necessary, draw up an ovulation calendar and calculate the best days for conceiving a girl, you need to be guided by the following knowledge:

  • The Y-cell dies within a day.
  • X-cells live up to 3 days, less often - up to 4-5 days.

Based on this, in order for Y to have no chance, it is necessary that the spermatozoa be inside some time before the female cell appears there. Ideally, she should be “born” when all Y have already died. Then the slower Xs will no longer have competitors. Therefore, in order to give birth to a daughter, you need to plan productive acts a couple of days before the expected ovulation.

Increasing the chance of having a boy or girl

Since in this situation the methods for identifying the exact day indicated above are not relevant, you can confirm your calculations in other ways. Ultrasound will be the most reliable. The doctor observes the growth of the follicle, starting 5-9 days after menstruation. By the rate of its growth and by the content of the hormone, it will determine the date of ovulation in advance.

You can independently mark this moment with the help of a reusable device that shows the structural changes in the salts contained in human saliva. One month you can watch the strokes every day and see how the pattern gradually changes. So the woman will understand that in her case, a pattern of dotted lines and a few clear ones indicates a rupture of the follicle in 1-2 days.

Rectal temperature measurements can also be used. At the same time, you need to keep a diary of observations and draw a graph. A sharp drop in temperature indicates the imminent approach of the right moment, and a sharp increase in the indicator after that indicates the exit of the cell.

Having compiled a personal calendar of ovulation and conception of a baby of the desired gender, you need to know about additional features. In particular, each type of male cell requires certain microorganisms, and by consuming products containing them, one can improve their habitat and increase viability. In particular:

  • For a boy: fill the diet with foods containing sodium and potassium and lower those containing calcium. It is better to introduce into the diet: meat products, sausages, smoked meats, fish, egg white, potatoes, rice, semolina, mushrooms, lentils, peas, dates, prunes, bananas, cherries, apricots, mineral water with soda.
  • For a girl, products containing a large amount of calcium are more relevant: sour cream, milk, eggs, cottage cheese, almost all vegetables and fruits, peanuts, hazelnuts, chocolate, cocoa, honey. It is worth limiting meat, especially pork and beef, and salt intake. Bread and pastries to eat yeast-free.

Of course, you should not make your own diet. The child should receive all trace elements and vitamins, and therefore it is better to coordinate the menu with the doctor. Do not be afraid to eat foods from the second list. The danger is only excessive and constant consumption, with normal and small doses it does not have any effect.

Predicting gender today is offered by blood types or by updating it with parents. The first option is quite reliable, but has some exceptions. The second is based on the understanding that a person's fluid is systematically renewed. This happens every three years for girls and at 4 for the stronger sex. If you count these years from the year of birth to the present, you can identify the spouse whose blood was rejuvenated last. It is believed that the same sex as this spouse will be the baby, because his cells are stronger and more active. If there was a large blood loss (or childbirth), then you need to make calculations from the year when this happened. At this point, rejuvenation happened out of the plan.

Many today trust special tables that predict gender by month of conception. These tables were compiled a very long time ago and have their adherents. Working with them is easy and clear:

  • Chinese. The lines spell out the years of the future mother. You need to find your line and follow the months (marked in the vertical columns) when a son or daughter is predicted.
  • Japanese. First you need to find the check digit for your birth months with your spouse. Based on this figure, analyze the prediction for each month. It is presented in the form of ratios of the probability of conceiving a son or daughter.

How reliable they are, disputes have been ongoing for a long time, but if you wish, you can try this option. Of course, it is better to “fix” it with your knowledge of the viability of spermatozoa and be guided by calculations.

conclusions

By compiling an ovulation calendar online or on your own, a woman gets the opportunity to designate the best moments for conception, and even with the likelihood of affecting gender. In addition, with the calendar it is easy to observe your rhythms and detect deviations and failures in time. If the woman is not interested in pregnancy at the moment, she can be guided by the calendar in order to know the most “dangerous” days for unprotected acts.

Women who are planning a pregnancy should be able to calculate their ovulation calendar. As a method of protection, the calendar method is not very reliable. But for a successful conception, it is useful to know your “favorable days”. Let's look at how to determine the date of ovulation, and what symptoms accompany it.

What is ovulation

Ovulation is the period of the menstrual cycle during which the egg is released from the follicle. This day and the next few have the highest chance of conception if the woman has had unprotected intercourse. Normally, ovulation occurs regularly, more often in the middle of the cycle. It is accompanied by quite characteristic symptoms, which makes it easily recognizable for a woman. When planning a baby, it is very important to know when ovulation occurs.

After 30 years, the number of ovulatory cycles decreases and by the menopause period this stage completely disappears.

Online ovulation calendar

When does ovulation occur

Most women have a menstrual cycle that lasts 28-32 days. The period of release of the egg in such a cycle falls on the 12-15th day. You can accurately determine whether ovulation has begun using special test strips that are sold in pharmacies, or according to a schedule. Since test strips are expensive and temperature charts take several months to reveal a pattern, many women simply consider cycle day 14 to begin ovulation.

However, doctors say that even in a healthy woman, the period of egg release can shift in different cycles. Most often it occurs between 11 and 21 days. The exact date is affected by the hormonal background, emotional and physical state. As an exception, cases of two ovulations during one menstrual cycle were recorded.

Signs of ovulation

Ovulation lasts only 48 hours. In order for a woman to become pregnant, during these 48 hours, the egg must have time to meet with the sperm. Auspicious days for conception are three days before the release of the egg (since sperm can survive until day X) and 1-2 days after (while the egg itself remains viable). This period is accompanied by certain signs:

  1. rises by half a degree.
  2. Luteinizing hormone is found in the urine.

In addition, during the ovulatory period, a woman feels the following symptoms:

  1. Bloating and slight drawing pains in the abdomen.
  2. Scanty bleeding.
  3. The sensitivity of the breast increases, which is caused by a change in the hormonal background.
  4. Increased sexual desire. Thus, nature naturally encourages conception.
  5. Taste preferences may change.
  6. Increased profusion of vaginal discharge.

By observing your characteristics over several menstrual cycles, you can determine when ovulation begins. Remember that all symptoms and sensations during ovulation are individual. Only you can calculate the signs and determine your own egg release dates.

The method is considered more reliable than subjective sensations. It is noticed that during ovulation and before the onset of menstrual bleeding, a woman stays at 37 degrees. In the first half of the cycle, it can be 36-36.5 degrees. By a sharp rise in this parameter, we can conclude that there is a change in the hormonal background and the days favorable for conception have begun.

The most accurate way to determine ovulation is by ultrasound.

Alternative ovulation calendar online

The calendar method is quite popular among those who follow the periods of their menstrual cycle. Combining the calendar method, measurement and, for example, subjective feelings, it is possible to determine the date of ovulation with a high probability. An online calculator will help you with the calculation, which will indicate to you all the periods of your cycle. Using the online calculator is very convenient, you just need to enter the date of the last menstruation, the duration of the cycle and click the "Calculate" button. Dangerous, safe and ovulatory periods will be highlighted in different colors, and you will also see when the chances of conceiving a girl increase, and when a boy. You can keep such a calendar on your own, but in online mode everything is much simpler and clearer.

It is very convenient to print such a calendar and take it with you on vacation. However, do not get too ahead of yourself - minor disruptions in the menstrual cycle can be triggered by stress or a change in climatic conditions, due to which menstruation and the entire calendar will shift by a couple of days.

Conception according to the calendar

Favorable days for conception are about 6 in each cycle: the day of ovulation, three days before it and two after. At the same time, it is believed that on the day of ovulation and before it, the chances of conceiving a girl increase, and in the last two days - a boy. However, women must understand that the sex of the unborn child depends entirely on the male germ cells, and what set of chromosomes they will get.

In some cases, the favorable period may increase. For example, the sperm of some men are able to live up to 7 days.

The calendar method is not suitable for women with irregular menstrual cycles. In this case, the time of release of the egg becomes unpredictable and it is better to use other methods to determine the favorable period.

A few days before the release of the egg from the follicle, it is recommended to refrain from intimate relationships so that the number of spermatozoa increases and they gain strength. However, at other times it is not recommended to limit sexual intercourse for a couple, since after each ejaculation of a man, the composition of his spermatozoa is updated with newer, more mature and stronger ones. Regular sex increases the endurance of male germ cells and increases the likelihood of their meeting with the egg.

Some cycles in a woman's life pass without ovulation and are considered the norm. In this case, subjective symptoms will be absent, and - keep stable. To clarify the cause and exclude pathological conditions, a woman is recommended to do an ultrasound scan.

Different couples have different attitudes towards the possibility of planning pregnancy and even the sex of the unborn baby. Someone prefers to trust chance, while someone wants to somehow influence nature or tries to increase their chances by acting according to its rules.

In the female body, cyclic processes constantly occur due to the activity of the hormonal and reproductive systems. They find their manifestation in the menstrual cycle, which normally repeats every month. The period of maturation of the egg, ovulation and menstrual bleeding follow each other, and all these processes are aimed at a common goal: the fertilization of the egg that matures in each cycle, the potential conception of a child and the onset of pregnancy. But, unfortunately, in some cases, a woman and a man who decides to become parents cannot find the right moment for this.

Calculating a conception calendar will be especially useful for those women who want to get pregnant as soon as possible: using the calendar, you can choose the most favorable days for which sexual intercourse should be planned so that pregnancy occurs with a high degree of probability.

To do this, you just need to enter some data into the interactive windows of our calculator: the date of the first day of the last menstruation, the average length of your menstrual cycle and the period that you are interested in getting pregnant.

Using this service, it is possible to calculate the most favorable days specifically for your body for conception already in this or the next menstrual cycle, as well as draw up a schedule of the best days for a longer period of time - from several months to a year. This function will significantly increase the likelihood of pregnancy if you apply the data obtained in practice, as well as use some tips to get pregnant faster: give up sexual intercourse on the eve of a fateful act, restore physical strength with prolonged sleep and emotional peace, direct your efforts to improve

blood circulation in the pelvic organs, reconsider their eating habits and, possibly, lifestyle, and so on. Moreover, you must understand that these recommendations equally apply to both potential parents - both a woman and a man.

It is believed that if you calculate the conception calendar, then you can plan the gender of the unborn child to some extent. There are various methods for planning the sex of the unborn child: by blood type, by blood renewal, by horoscope, by date of conception, etc. But our service provides the ability to calculate the conception calendar from a table compiled using empirically derived patterns based on average statistical data.

Menstrual cycle

There is a common misconception that a woman's menstrual cycle should last exactly 28 days, and ovulation should occur precisely "on the 14th day of the cycle" or "in the middle of the menstrual cycle." This is not true.

In fact, the menstrual cycle is divided into two phases - follicular (before ovulation) and luteal (after ovulation).

Follicular phase

The follicular phase (prior to ovulation) begins on the first day of the last menstruation and lasts until one dominant follicle (or several) matures in the ovaries. Ends with ovulation.

luteal phase

The luteal phase (corpus luteum phase) begins at the moment of ovulation and lasts about 12-16 days.

A corpus luteum forms at the site of the covulated follicle within a few days after ovulation. Its main function is the synthesis of progesterone and estrogens to support a future pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur, then after 10-12 days the corpus luteum undergoes reverse development, which leads to a drop in hormone levels, after which the next menstruation begins. If pregnancy has occurred, the corpus luteum continues to function and support the pregnancy.

In the absence of pregnancy, the level of progesterone reaches its maximum value about a week after ovulation - at this time it is recommended to take a blood test for progesterone to assess the function of the corpus luteum.

Length of the menstrual cycle

The follicular phase can vary in duration (both in different women and in one woman throughout her life). Usually, the length of this phase of the cycle determines the length of the entire menstrual cycle and affects the delay in menstruation - for example, if the maturation of the follicle is faster or slower than usual, or does not occur at all. The luteal phase usually has a constant duration (12 to 16 days).

Gender of the child

The gender of the unborn child does not depend on the location of the stars in the sky, the menu of future parents or the position at conception. The sex of the child depends on which type of sperm fertilizes the egg - carrying the male Y chromosome or the female X chromosome. Spermatozoa of the "male" sex, as a rule, move easier and faster than "female" ones, but are more sensitive to external conditions and adverse effects. Spermatozoa of the "female" sex, on the contrary, are less mobile, but more hardy. Thus, if sexual intercourse occurs on the day of ovulation or later, the probability of having a boy increases, and if sexual intercourse occurs long before ovulation, then the probability of having a girl increases and the probability of conception decreases. However, experts believe that the reliability of this method does not exceed 60%.
