Pizza with sausage and corn - recipe

Before proceeding to the recipe for yeast dough, I want to note that it is best to cook it, like any other yeast baked goods, with live or as they are also called “wet” yeast. The fact is that dry yeast is quite capricious and does not always work well, especially if the bag with them was stored in inappropriate conditions. Therefore, I recommend giving preference to “wet yeast”. In warm water, crush the yeast with your hands into small crumbs.

Add sugar for better fermentation.

Pour in two tablespoons of refined oil.

Then add salt. Mix everything with a whisk.

Introduce wheat flour into the dough in portions, stirring constantly.

The dough should be quite thick - thicker than on, but at the same time not tight.

Leave it for 30 minutes in a warm place for it to rise. Put the yeast dough on a mold greased with sunflower oil. Spread it on all sides so that it is an even layer.

Cut tomatoes and smoked sausage into half rings.

Grease the dough with ketchup or tomato sauce.

Lay out the sausage.

Put the tomatoes between the sausage.

Throw in the canned corn. Before you sprinkle the pizza with cheese, you can also pour mayonnaise on top of it.

In conclusion, sprinkle the pizza with grated cheese on a medium grater.

Place the pizza form in an oven preheated to a temperature of 175 C. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Finished pizza with sausage and corn should double in size and the cheese is completely melted.

How to cook pizza with corn and zucchini

1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with baking parchment.

2. First, prepare the pizza dough. Heat milk (or water) to a temperature of 40 degrees, add honey (or sugar), dry yeast and one tablespoon of flour from the total. Stir and leave warm for 15 minutes. When a frothy cap appears on the yeast dough, you can start kneading the dough. Combine the dough with sifted flour, pour in vegetable oil, salt and knead an elastic, elastic dough that does not stick to your fingers. Roll out a round layer 5 mm thick and transfer to a baking sheet.

3. While the dough rises on the baking sheet, prepare the filling. Pass the garlic through a press, cut the zucchini into thin semicircles. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the garlic and fry over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Then add the zucchini, corn and spices, continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the zucchini is a little softer. Salt and remove from the stove.

4. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving 1 cm from the edge. Spread the filling over the dough. Spread the mozzarella slices between the vegetables and put the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes.

When the dough is golden around the edges, and the mozzarella has melted, the pizza with corn and zucchini is ready! Remove the treat from the oven, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and finely chopped green onions, cut into portions and start tasting.

I want to show the dough for pizza without yeast in action, having prepared a very tasty and, in my opinion, tender pizza with canned corn, milk sausage and cheese. The corn “sounded” so well in the filling that there was no pizza in the first 10 minutes after cooking :) And look how the dough has risen, even though it is without yeast! I have a simple, homemade, quick sauce - ketchup + mayonnaise. Since the ketchup was not spicy, I added ground pepper to this sauce.

To make pizza with sausage and corn, first make pizza dough without yeast. Divide the finished dough into three parts of 300 grams each. To prepare this pizza, take a 300-gram piece and roll it out, and then place it in a pizza baking pan. Form a border. From the other two pieces of dough, you can also cook either the same pizza, or already with other toppings. I cooked all three identical pizzas, but I will indicate the number of ingredients for one.

Lubricate the dough, pizza base, sauce (ketchup + mayonnaise + ground pepper) and sprinkle with onions (small cubes).

Then lay out the sausage mugs, sprinkle them with some fragrant dry herbs. I also sprinkled with salt, because there was not enough salt in the sausage that I took (I took milk sausage).

Then sprinkle the pizza with canned corn.

And in the end, of course, fill the pizza topping with cheese (large grater) - what is pizza without cheese :)?

Bake pizza for about 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.

Everything - pizza with corn is ready. Try it before it gets cold!

Enjoy your meal!!!
