Recipe strawberry pie:

Heat the milk slightly and pour into a small saucepan. Add about 12 teaspoons of sugar and all the salt specified in the recipe there. Break the eggs. Stir.


Gently sift the flour into a large bowl through a sieve. This gives the dough airiness and softness.


Add yeast and baking powder, stir.


Pour the milk mixture into the flour in a thin stream. It is better to mix with your hands so that there are no lumps.


Melt margarine (butter) in a saucepan over a water bath (or in the microwave, this will take about 2 minutes). An alternative is to simply remove it from the freezer long before preparing the pie. Mix softened margarine into the dough.


Knead the dough until it is completely smooth and comes away from your hands. If you don’t want to lag behind, add refined sunflower oil to your hands.

Throw the finished dough into a bowl or onto a board ten times. The more it beats, the tastier the baked goods will be. Then place the dough in a bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Let it sit like this for about an hour. If you want to speed up the fermentation process, you can place the bowl in a slightly warm oven or in the sun.

After an hour, punch down the dough and let it ferment again. He has to rise again.


While the dough is rising, you can start filling the pie. Wash the strawberries well and remove leaves. There is no need to sprinkle the strawberries with sugar in advance - otherwise the filling will be too wet and the pie will burn.


Cut the finished dough into two unequal parts: the first (the larger one) will be the base of the pie, and the second will be used for decoration. Place the main part of the dough in a thin layer on a baking sheet, greased with sunflower oil, and form sides so that the strawberry juice does not leak out.


Gently sprinkle the dough with starch: this will prevent the juice from flowing under the pie and burning.


Cut the washed and peeled strawberries into slices...


And put it on the dough.


Now make decorations from the remaining dough: thin strips can be used to form a “lattice” for the pie.


Carefully place the rack over the pie.

Ingredients:

1.5 tsp. dry yeast.

550g premium wheat flour.

80g butter.

0.5 tsp. salt.

5 tbsp. Sahara.

250 ml milk.

Place the ingredients in the bread maker pan in the order indicated in your instructions. I have dry products first, then liquid ones.


We prepare the dough using the “Dough Kneading” program, my cooking time is 2 hours 20 minutes.

Then we distribute most of the dough into a mold greased with butter, making sides along the edges. I decided to bake the pie in this form with a round center.

Sprinkle the dough with starch (I used potato starch), this is done so that during baking the juice from the berries does not leak out and the pie does not burn.

Decorate the top of the pie with the remaining dough. I made a rope around the middle, and simply covered the top of the pie with a layer of dough and made longitudinal cuts.

To make a strawberry pie from yeast dough, I prepare the ingredients according to the list.

You can use either fresh or frozen strawberries to make this pie. If the berries are frozen, then you need to defrost them. I open the bag of berries, put the strawberries in a bowl, cut the large berries into 2-4 parts and leave them at room temperature.

In a bowl, combine eggs and sugar.

Beat the ingredients with a fork or whisk.

Add warm milk, salt, vanillin, mix.

I sift the flour into the milk mixture.

I add dry yeast and mix it with the flour a little.

I add butter at room temperature or melted in the microwave.

When the strawberries are defrosted, I put them in a strainer or colander to drain the juice (I don’t use it when making a pie, but it would be a wonderful addition for compote).

I grease a springform pan with a diameter of 25 cm with butter (you can use a pan with a slightly larger diameter, since the cake turns out to be tall).

When the dough has approximately doubled in volume, knead it.

Transfer the dough to the prepared pan, cover with film and leave to rise.

At this time I prepare the streusel. In a bowl, combine sifted flour, sugar and butter at room temperature.

I grind the ingredients with my hands until crumbs form.

I heat the oven to 180 degrees. When the dough in the mold increases in volume by 1.5-2 times, remove the film.

I spread strawberries on the dough.

I sprinkle streusel over the strawberries.

I wrap the mold with food foil so that when the dough rises, the streusel does not spill out of the mold. I bake a pie from yeast dough with strawberries in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. I check the readiness of the pie with a toothpick; if the pie is not ready, bake it a little more.

I take the pie out of the oven and leave it for 5-10 minutes. I transfer from the mold to a plate.
