Childbirth is already around the corner. Our dad left about 4 months ago, since then he hasn’t appeared, hasn’t written, hasn’t called, hasn’t helped...although we still have an older child, 2 years old. He doesn’t pick up the phone, doesn’t answer messages, although I know he’s reading it, it’s obvious.
It is not clear exactly why he left, there are only assumptions. By the way, I stopped going to work at the same time I left home.
On the one hand, I think he would go... if he has even a drop of reason and conscience, then he himself should be interested in his children. On the other hand, I doubt it, maybe it would still be worth reporting?
What do you think?

To live well!

Good evening everyone. Whatever one may say, summer is almost over and next Sunday is already September 1st.
It's been a really hot day for us today. In addition, our town hosts a summer fair (aka folk festivals).
How did you spend your Sunday? Stories and photos are welcome.

My son grew up in an ordinary family with average income. A separate room in the apartment, modern things (computer, bicycle, telephone, clothes, etc., everything was bought on demand), studied at a prestigious lyceum, entered a good institute (profession test pilot).
He went to another city to study and lives in a hostel. We all know what life is like without parents and when you are 18 years old, and when you live in a dorm, where it is opposite the girls’ room)). Over the past year, my son had a new girlfriend every 1.5 months (according to his stories). A month before coming home for the summer holidays, he met a girl. He stayed at home for 1.5 months and went crazy with longing for her, then I suggested him to invite her to visit us. She replied that her grandmother would not let her go, and that she did not want to share him with her mother and sister, and that I would be jealous of him for her. I asked what it means to share and be jealous. The answer killed me, this means that I should no longer ask my son to do anything for me, and he should obey and do only what she asks.
There was a week left before departure, they wanted to take him by car today, but it didn’t work out, she offered to leave tomorrow evening by train, my son freaked out and hitched a ride. The reason is that the girl wanted to go to the cinema with him today and he should come today. And if he doesn’t come, it means he doesn’t obey her, and he’s a mama’s boy. I just spoke out, it was somehow painful and offensive.

Good afternoon.
We are thinking about guardianship/adoption.
I don’t have my own children, so I have absolutely no idea what it’s like financially.
How different are expenses for a child 0-6 years old and a school-age child?
Phrases like “Children are expensive” are scary.
What budget should be set aside for a child (whether it’s yours or not, it doesn’t matter)?
And up to what age can you live with a child in a 1-room apartment?
Sometimes on the apartment website I see 1k apartments where there are children, of course there are such little towns there... How normal is this?
Thank you!

We have a conflict here with my husband. I want to go to work, I found one for my child. 4 months) private kindergarten. But the husband is categorically against it - he says that the child is small, the kindergarten is bad (if anything, the kindergarten has state accreditation, they even officially put it on a waiting list). I’m 40 now, my boss at work set a condition - either I quit now or quit. I have a normal salary now and have prospects for career growth. If in a year I look for another place, it will be for pennies. My husband’s income is normal, I don’t need money. But I don’t like being a housewife, and my husband has the final say on how to spend money. For example, going to Turkey is expensive, but spending the same amount on repairs at your dacha is just the thing. I want the honest opinion of forum users: if they were me, they would go to work or stay at home.

Step 1: prepare the bream fish.

Usually, frozen fish is sold at food markets, but it is already gutted, so it just needs to be brought to room temperature. To do this, put the dorado in a small bowl and leave it aside. Important: There is no need to speed up this process using a microwave or a stream of hot water, otherwise you can ruin the taste of the dish.

Then we wash the carcasses on all sides and return them to a clean bowl. If you wish, you can remove the head, but depending on my mood, I leave it for beauty.

Step 2: prepare the garlic.

Place the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press with the tip of a knife. Next, with clean hands, peel the cloves and rinse under running water.

Place the ingredients back on a flat surface and chop one by one using a garlic press directly into a deep bowl.

Step 3: prepare the lemon.

To prepare the dish, we do not need the lemon itself, but only its juice. Therefore, using a juicer, we squeeze out all the liquid from the citrus and then pour it into a bowl with chopped garlic.

Step 4: prepare the marinade for the fish.

Add fish seasoning, salt and a mixture of ground peppers to a bowl with garlic and freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until smooth. That's it, the marinade is ready!

Step 5: prepare dorada in a slow cooker.

First of all, coat the fish with marinade on all sides. Then we put it in the multicooker pan and immediately install “Baking” mode for 35 minutes. Next, close the lid and wait. When will it pass 20 minutes Using a kitchen spatula, carefully turn the fish over to the other side so that it can cook evenly on all sides. Attention: Don't forget to close the lid again. We wait for the desired signal and then turn off the electrical appliance from the network. That's it, the dorada is ready!

Step 6: serve dorada in a slow cooker.

Using a kitchen spatula, we take the still warm sea bream out of the multicooker and place it on a special plate. If desired, the fish can be decorated with fresh herbs, lemon slices and served as such at the dinner table. By the way, boiled rice, mashed potatoes, as well as various salads from fresh vegetables are ideal for it.
Enjoy your meal!

If you have a couple of sprigs of rosemary and thyme on hand, be sure to put them in the slow cooker along with the fish. This will make the dish even more aromatic and appetizing;

In addition to the spices indicated in the recipe, you can also add “khmeli-suneli”, ground dried rosemary, and a mixture of bell peppers to the marinade;

Before cooking, the fish can be stuffed with onions, slices of hard cheese or lemon slices (in the latter option, there is no need to squeeze out the citrus juice). This makes the dorada even more tasty and juicy;

If you are lucky enough to find fresh fish, then be sure to gut it beforehand. To do this, use a knife to make a shallow incision along the entire abdomen and carefully remove the insides. If you wish, you can cut off the fins and tail with kitchen scissors, but I usually don't do this. After cleaning, do not forget to thoroughly rinse the dorado on all sides under running warm water. That's it, the fish is ready, so you can start cooking it!

Steamed fish can rightfully be considered a doubly healthy dish. After all, to all the valuable properties of fish, there is also the most “dietary” method of preparation. With all this in mind, I made this in the slow cooker today. steamed dorado fish.

It's no secret that when steamed, dishes often turn out bland and tasteless. But in our case this is not at all the case. Dorado itself has a rather unique taste, slightly sweet, and to make it even more appetizing we can use cheese and onions, which we will stuff with the fish, and garlic and spices, with which we will rub it on the outside. It turns out to be simply delicious!
