The daily routine of a fighter. The daily routine in the military unit. Weekends and holidays - Saturday, Sunday and holidays

Reading time: ~7 minutes 18

In order for a person to fully perform their daily duties, for the preservation of health, good physical and mental activity, a full 8-hour sleep is required. This mode of work and rest is especially important when it comes to military personnel. After all, in the event of a sudden threat to the state and the population, soldiers must be in 100% uniform.

There is no point in hiding: most young people do not follow a strict daily routine before being drafted into the army. Therefore, it is recommended to find out in advance when the servicemen are up and when the lights out. Practice shows that two weeks are enough to adjust to the new regime.

But it will be easier and faster to adapt to a strict routine if you start switching to it at home. So, what time will military conscripts go to bed and get up in 2020, in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation?

Features of the daily routine in the army

It must be said right away that in the army the daily routine will not differ significantly either on weekdays, or on weekends, or on holidays. At least, this does not apply to the rise and fall time for the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

But there are some differences in the activities for ordinary weekdays, for bath days and for weekends. By the way, soldiers have two bathing days. It's Monday and Thursday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are regular days. Well, the weekend, almost like everyone else, is Saturday and Sunday.

The routine of a regular or bath day looks like this:

  • 6:00 a.m. Wake up. The orderly team wakes up the company: “Company, rise!”. You can’t lie down for another five minutes, everyone should immediately jump up and quickly get ready for morning exercises. Today, most units are immediately given tracksuits and sneakers upon conscription, in which they should go for exercises.
  • 6.05 - the command sounds: “Company, get up to follow the morning physical exercises!”. That is, five minutes after getting up, you need to have time to go to the toilet, wash yourself and put on a sports uniform.
  • 6.05 - 6.30 - morning exercises take place.
  • 6.30 - 7.00 - making beds, hygienic morning procedures. Everyone has half an hour to put themselves and their bed in order, as well as change into their usual daily uniform. In order not to create crowds in the bathrooms and bedrooms, soldiers are usually divided into two groups and take turns washing, cleaning and dressing.
  • 7.00 - 7.20 - inspection of the appearance of military personnel. It is carried out by the company commander. What will be checked? Cleanliness of shoes, ironing of clothes, length of hair on the head and face, etc. If inconsistencies are found, they should be corrected immediately. During the inspection, the physical condition of the soldiers is also monitored. If coughing, sneezing, feverish persons are found, they are sent to the infirmary.
  • 7.20 - 8.00 - breakfast. Forty minutes are allotted for a morning meal for the reason that in one canteen, not just the whole company, but the whole battalion should have time to have breakfast.
  • 8.00 - 9.00 - general meeting on the parade ground. If it is Monday, then at the training camp the unit commander sums up the results of the past week and gives instructions for the next one. Also, awards are presented to whom they are due, important announcements are made. The national flag may be raised to the accompaniment of the national anthem. On ordinary days, a standard divorce is held on the parade ground and training. The type of exercise depends on which area of servicemen's duties does not correspond to the norm. This may be a bed making exercise or the use of protective equipment in case of a chemical attack, etc. Also during this period, subdivisions can be informed about what is happening in the country and the world.
  • 9.00 - 14.00 - classes. Every day, with the exception of weekends, three pairs are held. The third pair ends a little earlier, so that the servicemen can be taken out of the barracks and prepared for the next event.
  • 14.00 - 14.20 - control check. Carried out by the company on duty, he must check whether the entire staff is in place, and if not all, then establish who is absent and for what reason. The appearance of military personnel is also checked.
  • 14.20 - 15.00 - lunch.
  • 15.00 - 15.30 - divorce. It is carried out on a small or large parade ground for each battalion separately.
  • 15.30 - 18.00 - classes, again three couples. Or, if it's Monday or Thursday, bath events. In fact, no one goes to the bathhouse, it has long been replaced by a shower. In addition, servicemen put their hair and clothes in order, do laundry, ironing, shoe shine, etc.
  • 18.00 - 18.20 - control check. Held on the central aisle in the barracks. If there was a bathing day, then it is checked whether all the necessary measures have been completed. If something needs to be corrected, it is indicated by the attendant.
  • 18.20-19.00 - dinner.
  • 19.00 - 21.00 - personal time. During this period of time, the soldiers finish what they did not have time to do on bath days - wash, shave, cut their hair, sew up clothes, write a letter. Play, read, work out in the gym.
  • 21.00 - 21.15 - news viewing (program "Time"). You can't refuse, everyone is watching.
  • 21.15. – 21.35. - an evening walk. In any weather, with the exception of strong storms, snowstorms and storms, the company is built, dressed and taken out into the street. To marching songs, the unit marches through the territory of the garrison.
  • 21.35 - 21.45 - evening check. It is of great importance and differs from the current checks throughout the day. The command to build is given by the company officer on duty, the foreman is also present at the check. The personnel of the company is being checked according to the name list. After that, instructions are given for the military personnel, the order for the next day is determined, calculations are carried out in the event of a fire alarm, natural disaster or chemical, nuclear attack.
  • 21.45 - 22.00 - preparation for bed.
  • 22.00 - lights out.

The daily routine of a soldier is not pleased with the variety and a lot of free time

That's the whole agenda. It changes a little on weekends. How the weekend will go during the week is determined and confirmed on Wednesday. The following activities are usually practiced:

  • Saturday from 15.30 to 16.00 - I can gather the whole company to sum up the results of the week. Gatherings are held by the company commander or his deputy, the names of those who have particularly distinguished themselves in knowledge or physical achievements are announced, and tasks for the next week are indicated;
  • Saturday from 16.00 to 18.00 - economic and organizational work is being carried out. That is, general cleaning is carried out in the barracks or on the territory of the garrison. At the same time, the army editorial board is engaged in the production of leaflets and wall newspapers;
  • Saturday 18.10 - 22.00 - leisure and personal time. Usually, all military personnel are allowed to gather in the break room to watch a feature film. Those who do not want to watch can read, draw, etc.

Saturday is different from the usual working day. But Sunday is even more different. By army standards, this is indeed a real day off.

What happens on Sunday

On Sunday, the rise does not take place at 6 am, as usual, but at 7.30. Immediately after the rise, there is no charging. Until 8.30, military personnel can calmly do their morning toilet, make their beds, and get dressed. The following is the schedule:

  • 8.30 - 9.00 - breakfast;
  • 9.00 - 9.30 - informing about events in the country and the world, watching TV;
  • 9.30 - 10.00 - legal information for military personnel;
  • 10.00 - 11.00 - sports;
  • 11.00 - 14.00 - watching documentaries, not necessarily only on military topics;
  • 14.30 - 16.30 - lunch and afternoon nap;
  • 16.40 - 17.20 - conversations with personnel on relevant topics;
  • 17.20 - 18.10 - time for writing letters;
  • 18.10 - 22.00 - watching feature films, dinner, everything is like on Saturday.

On weekends, military personnel have the right to relax and do their favorite things for several hours.

This schedule is repeated every week, with the exception of out-of-the-ordinary events, no changes are noted. The daily routine is different for conscripts before taking the oath and after it, but this does not affect the time of rise and end.

Sleep, watch a movie and eat to satiety - the three cherished desires of every conscript.

Why is it important to observe wake up and down times?

Conscripts already have a hard time in army conditions after home. Why bother waking them up so early? That's what interests those who are about to also fall into the ranks of the military. In fact, there is no fundamental difference whether there will be a rise at 6 in the morning, at 7 or at 8.

The main thing is to get at least 8 hours of sleep at night. By the way, in some units, since 2016, the lights out is held at 23.00, and the rise, respectively, at 7.00 in the morning. But there is no more fundamental difference in the daily routine. A soldier's day is scheduled by the minute, you can't get out of the schedule.

Therefore, both at 22.00 and at 23.00, the soldier, with the same fatigue and pleasure, goes to bed, so that after eight hours he starts all over again: getting up, exercising, checking, breakfast, classes, etc. The schedule is even harder for conscripts who are serving military service, for daily duty or guard duty. They sleep no more than 4 hours a day. At the same time, sleep is divided into two sets of two hours each, and they stand out during the daytime, and not at night.

Some do not rule out a psychological moment at such an early time of awakening. A sleepy person is evil. And if he is angry, he reveals his full potential and is physically calm for more than in a relaxed, peaceful state.

It has been proven in practice that it is easier for an angry and sleepy soldier to run 10 km early in the morning in any weather

The army has a strict daily routine on weekdays and weekends. With the exception of Sunday, the rise for all personnel of the garrison is held at 6.00 in the morning, and the signal to hang up sounds at 22.00. On Sundays and holidays, the rise takes place at 7.30, but the end time remains unchanged.

So getting up in the army is usually at 6:30. At the same time, you need to be able to get dressed and line up very quickly. Usually the foreman gives no more than 45 seconds. After checking the personnel, the entire company goes to morning exercises, which take place at the stadium. Usually this is a run of 2-3 kilometers, and various physical exercises, push-ups, pull-ups, squats and the like. Charging usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Then, after returning closer to 7:30, you need to have time to make the beds, align the lanes, wash and go to the toilet. At the same time, if someone did not have time to fill his bed, then the rest will be waiting for him. So don't slow down.

In the army, you need to shave every day in the morning, always with shaving foam or cream. In addition, you need to make a piping around your neck every morning. You need to do it perfectly evenly, otherwise you can get in the neck. By the way, only those who are good at making edging should be trusted. Then at 7:45 the whole company is built for the morning inspection. The deputy platoon commander will check whether everyone is shaved, whether the piping is done. And if you serve in the internal troops (now it is the National Guard), then it will check the hemming. They are still hemmed, so it is better not to serve there. They can also check the documents of each soldier.

At 8:00 usually the whole company goes to breakfast. You can read about what they feed in the army in a separate article on this site. Approximately 20 minutes are given for a meal for the whole company. Learn to eat quickly, because as a young soldier, you will receive food at the end of the line, and you will have 3-4 minutes to eat. By the way, I recommend eating the most delicious first (meat, meatballs, sausages) and only then eat up the rest. Because at any moment the command “finish the meal” can sound.

After eating at 8:30 am, the soldiers go to the parade ground and do drills. Both general drill training and single. Closer to 9:00 passes the morning divorce. This is when the whole unit is built on the parade ground and they sing the anthem and raise the flag. After 9:00, the company or platoon commander distributes each to the objects. Usually for different jobs. Someone washes cars, someone works at the landfill. It all depends on the specific part. At 14:00 the company goes to lunch. By the way, I always recommend that you stand on the right side in the ranks, as they usually always launch into the dining room on the right. By the way, in almost every article I will write all sorts of secrets that will make your service in the army easier, so do not forget to add the site to your favorites.

After dinner, a list of servicemen who are taking up duty is brought up. And the rest go to work until dinner. And in some parts there is even a quiet hour. But there are not so many such parts. Dinner in the army is usually between 19:00 and 20:00. After dinner, usually, if you do not need to work, then personal time. You can be given mobile phones, you can watch TV, clean your uniform, shoes. It all depends on the specific part, as there are different rules and customs everywhere.

In the army at 21:00 everyone sits down to watch the Vremya program. And at 21:30 they go for an evening walk along the parade ground. They go to combatant and sing military songs. For example, the song "Katyusha". At 22:00 evening verification. This is each soldier is checked according to the list. After checking, everyone goes to wash. At 22:20, a physical examination is usually performed. If you notice a bruise or scratch, you will have to write an explanatory note. At 22:30 there is a "light out". Everyone goes to bed. You need to lie down very quickly, within 10 seconds. If someone did not have time, then everyone gets up and tries to lie down again. In the army, if one mows, then everyone suffers. By the way, 2 bunk beds are very popular in the army. If it is possible to take a tier from below, lie down there. Since it will be easier for you to meet the first tier. And most importantly, do not creak the bed. Since if 3 creaks sound in the company, they can raise the whole company and try to lie down again quickly and without noise. This is how an ideal day goes in the army. Of course, on some days you may be raised at night on alarm. On some days you will be in daily outfits, which I will write about in a separate article.

We have already discussed in a separate article. It's time to talk about a shorter period of life - a week. I will say right away that the weeks themselves are extremely similar to each other.

Therefore, I will group the most similar days among themselves and analyze them in detail. Weekdays first, then weekends. Let's take a look at the daily routine in the army right now.

Daily routine in the army

Of course, the division of the days of the week into micro groups is conditional. There is no official division. Everyone has the right to figure out how to share them. Some don't share at all. I have developed the following scheme for dividing the days of the week according to my service experience:

  • Bath days.
  • Common days.
  • Weekend.

The first two types refer to weekdays, and the last one is not worth commenting on yet. We will analyze the weekend in detail at the end of the article. Let's go in order.

Daily routine in the army. Bath days: Monday and Thursday

The word "bath" comes from "bath". Previously, soldiers bathed in baths 1-2 times a week. The number of bathing days has remained unchanged even now, but we do not have a bathhouse itself.

Therefore, our bath is replaced by taking a shower, but the very name "bath days" is still actively used in the colloquial speech of military personnel of any rank. You can't escape tradition!

So, what is the peculiarity of bathing days in relation to other types? Let's get it right from the start.

06.00 - rise

For the entire location of the company, the orderly command sounds: “Company, rise”, after which each soldier is undermined and quickly gets ready for morning physical exercises.

Upon returning to the company after charging, we are divided into approximately two halves. The first - first they make their beds, then they go to wash. The second, on the contrary, first wash. We do this in order not to create a large queue at the sinks.

06.30-07.00 - making beds and morning toilet

At 07.00, the entire company is already standing on the central aisle in the required uniform and preparing for the morning inspection.

07.00-07.20 - morning inspection of the appearance of military personnel

For 20 minutes, the commanders of the departments conduct a morning inspection of all the military personnel of their departments, and, therefore, of the entire company.

Your appearance and the presence of the necessary things with you are checked.

For example, the cleanliness of the berets, the neatness of the uniform, the length of the hair on the head, the smooth shaving of each soldier, and much more are often checked. The same thing is checked every day, so there is no need to panic here.

You will go through this once, and then you will know and observe everything you need. Moreover, during the morning inspection, military personnel are given time to eliminate the noticed shortcomings in appearance.

One of the important parts of the morning inspection is the record by the company on duty of all the military personnel who need to go to the infirmary. Our patients are very cared for and taken care of. Nobody here wants the whole company to get sick. You cough - blow into the infirmary. The temperature has risen - blow to the infirmary.

“And there is nothing to be a hero! Be patient now, and tomorrow you will infect your comrade.” That's how we are taught.

07.20-08.00 — breakfast

We have breakfast in the dining room with the whole company. Or, to be more precise, everyone. In turn. We come to the dining room in turn and have breakfast, respectively, also in turn. I will also write a separate article about food in the army, because there is also something to tell there. In general - good!

To do this, on Mondays, a general institute divorce and raising the flag on a large parade ground takes place.

An army divorce is an event on a large / small parade ground when all units of the institute / battalion gather, greet the boss, listen to a speech, or hold important events (for example, award ceremonies).

On the large parade ground, the solemn raising of the flag of the Russian Federation and the performance of the Anthem of Russia by military personnel can also take place.

After the end of the planned events, all units take turns in a solemn march in front of the chief to the accompaniment of a military band or artificial musical accompaniment (music in the columns on the parade ground).

On Thursdays, in turn, from 08.00 to 09.00 there are morning exercises and divorces on a small parade ground.

08.00-09.00 - raising the flag on the large parade ground on Mondays / morning exercise and raising the flag on the small parade ground on Thursdays

Morning exercise is a half-hour event aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge and developing skills on certain topics of the lesson.

Sometimes they are carried out after serious shoals of a platoon / company in order to eliminate such shoals in the future. An example of jambs is a bed making exercise.

Sometimes morning exercises are replaced by morning information. Usually once a week. Then the company sits down in the information and leisure room and listens to the latest news in the country and in the world over the past week.

09.00 - 14.00 - training sessions (couples)

The schedule is:

  • 09.00-10.45 - I couple.
  • 10.50-12.40 - II couple.
  • 12.50-14.00 - III couple.

In fact, according to the schedule, the 3rd pair goes longer. But it is deliberately shortened in order to return the company to the barracks, build on the central aisle and hold the next event.

14.00-14.20 — control check

It is very important to understand that in the army there are 2 events similar in meaning, but different in meaning and name. it control examination and evening verification. I will talk about the latter later.

The meaning of the control check is clear from the name. The officer on duty checks the presence of military personnel. Is everything in place. And if not, where is it?

14.20-15.00 - lunch

Another one of my favorite things to do every day. Lunch may be a little delayed, because they really give a lot to eat. And we are happy about it!

15.15-15.30 - divorce

This divorce, unlike the morning ones, takes place on a small parade ground and not for the entire institute, but for our battalion. It is conducted by the battalion commander or, in the absence of the latter, his deputy.

15.30-18.00 — sauna day events

And here is what distinguishes Monday and Thursday from the total mass of days. These are bath days, which means that after lunch we will go to wash / shave / do personal hygiene. A little time for yourself won't hurt.

18.00-18.20 — control check

Another control check on the central passage in the barracks. We check if everyone managed to do everything that needed to be done. That is, they brought themselves and their appearance in full order.

18.20-19.00 - dinner

I wanted to write that this is the final pleasant event for the day, but no ... There is one more thing. Do you want to know which one? - Read on! ;-)

19.00-21.00 - time for personal needs

Wash, shave, iron, hem, mend. You can continue the verbs indefinitely.

Recently, they began to actively go to the sports hall of the company at this time. Half an hour or an hour of free time per day can be found here. And nowhere else.

21.00-21.15 - watching the TV program "Time"

This is what I don't like. I don't like watching TV in general. But in the army it doesn't matter what you like and what you don't. There is such a word - must.

21.15-21.35 - evening walk

We get dressed, line up and go out into the street. We walk around the territory as part of a company and sing marching songs. We already have 5 of these in our company. We are learning a few more.

At the same time, those who smoke can be taken to the smoking room to smoke. But this is not about me. At this time, I just stand aside with the guys who do not smoke. We communicate on various topics.

21.35-21.45 - evening verification

And here she is. Evening check, not another check. So what is it?

After a walk on the command of the duty officer in the company "Company, for the evening verification - STAND", the deputy platoon commanders line up their units for verification. The duty officer for the company, having built the company, reports to the foreman about the formation of the company for evening verification.

The foreman of the company or the person replacing him gives the command "AT ATTENTION" and proceeds to the evening verification. At the beginning of the evening verification, he names the military ranks, the names of the military personnel enrolled for the feats they have committed in the list of the company forever or honorary soldiers. Hearing the name of each of these servicemen, the deputy commander of the first platoon reports: “Such and such (military rank and surname) died a heroic death in the battle for the freedom and independence of the Fatherland - the Russian Federation” or “Honorary soldier of the company (military rank and surname) is in stock."
After that, the foreman of the company verifies the personnel of the company according to the name list. Hearing his last name, each soldier answers: "I am." The commanders of departments are responsible for those who are absent.
For example: "On guard", "On vacation".
At the end of the evening verification, the foreman of the company gives the command “FREE”, announces orders and orders regarding all military personnel, the outfit for the next day and makes (clarifies) combat crew in case of alarm, in case of fire and other emergencies, as well as in case of sudden attack on the location of a military unit (subdivision).

Got it? Verification is a sacred military ritual and originates from the time of the Great Patriotic War. It was then that it was invented and began to be actively used.

Soldiers must know the names of the heroes of our time. I respect this event very much. Therefore, I cringe when the next orderly, standing on the bedside table, utters the wrong command: “Company, stand for the evening check!”

22.00 - lights out

But I, on the contrary, love the team of the same orderly "Company, lights out"! After her, everyone scatters to their sleeping places and goes to bed. The happiest moment of every day...

Daily routine in the army. Regular days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

If you have read the entire article up to this point, then I can congratulate you. You have read more than one and a half thousand words. That is why I do not want to describe these ordinary days in detail either. Moreover, they are not much different from the baths.

Let's talk about the differences here.

08.00-08.40 — morning exercise on RCBZ on Wednesdays

Wednesday is RKhBZ day. This means that Wednesday is the only day of the week when we all get our gas masks in the morning, put them on ourselves and wear them all day.

No, no, you misunderstood me. We put on not on the face ... We put bags with gas masks on the shoulder. :-)

But we put it on our heads already at the command “Gases!”

The correct execution of this particular command is practiced at the morning exercise at the RHBZ every Wednesday.

Yes, and during the day it can sound repeatedly. Therefore, Wednesday is the day of maximum concentration!

15.30-18.00 — training sessions

Yeah. These are not bath days. We have couples here on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Here, in fact, are all the main differences between bath and ordinary days.

Let's move on to the most interesting ...

Daily routine in the army. Days off: Saturday and Sunday

The schedule of both days is developed in the week before their onset.

Usually Wednesday. On Wednesday, the schedule for the next weekend is worked out, printed and approved.

It has regular events and changes every week. I also suggest going in order!

Saturday

06.00-15.30 - similar to regular days

Rise, exercise, inspection, breakfast, couples before dinner, lunch, return to the company. But then…

15.30-15.55 – summarizing the results of the week

Summing up is carried out in the following format.

The company is seated on the central aisle or in the information and leisure room, after which the company commander or his deputy for work with personnel sum up the results.

The best and worst servicemen are marked. discipline and knowledge. Sometimes distinguished by sports. For example, a week ago I was marked for the better, because I ran 3rd from the platoon at a distance of 1 kilometer.

After that, priority tasks for the next week are identified and responsible for the premises of the barracks are assigned for further activities of the park and economic day.

16.00-18.00 — implementation of activities of the park and economic day

In general, if you translate from Russian into Russian, it will turn out like this: “Saturday = subbotnik”.

Generalim everything we see. And the barracks, and the territory on the street, assigned to the unit.

And so every week...

In parallel with this, creative people are developing their skills. Namely - the release of battle sheets. About what it is, I will write a separate article about creative implementation in the army. (Yes, yes. That's enough here too!)

18.10-22.00 - similar to regular days

With one very important exception. It is on weekends that you have the opportunity to watch a good army-themed movie on TV.

This takes place between 19.00-21.00. In private time. Everyone is invited to the information and leisure room, where they watch cool movies. Last Saturday we watched the movie "We are from the future".

Sunday

Have you ever heard that there are days off in the Russian army now? Not? Then now know. There are! Only they are very special. Army.

And if you are one of those people who, like me, heard about this before reading this article, then get ready to find out the whole truth about the routine of a typical day off in the army.

07.30 - rise

That's cool! The most beautiful moment of the week is the “lights out” command on the eve of Saturday. Beautiful, because you are aware of the amount of time you can sleep: a whole 9 and a half hours!

Only lines from a song by a famous performer come to my mind with the words: “This must be my paradise ...”

What do you think? Are we charging? No matter how! There is no charge on Sunday. The only morning of the week without morning exercise.

Therefore, from the very rise to breakfast, we are engaged in making beds and doing the morning toilet.

07.30-08.30 - morning toilet and inspection
08.30-09.00 - breakfast
09.00-09.30 - watching the TV show "Serving Russia"
09.30-10.00 - legal information for military personnel

For half an hour we sit in the information and leisure room and listen to what we can and should do, and what we cannot do. An example of the topic of legal information: "Responsibility of military personnel for theft of weapons, ammunition."

10.00-11.00. 00 - sports and mass work

A whole hour of sports! On a weekend! Do you understand what I mean?

Last Sunday we did the following:

  • Pull-ups on the crossbar.
  • Raising the legs to the crossbar.

I did 19 pull-ups. Not enough, because they did it with fixing the position from below. As expected. Nevertheless, the second most times in the company. The first one did 20, but I never managed to do it. Next time I will definitely be the first!

11.00-13.00 - watching documentaries

There is one long film, there are several different ones. The point is that we watch war documentaries. Have you watched any? Maybe you can advise? I will offer it next Sunday.

14.30-15.00 - lunch
15.30-16.30 - sleep

Sleep hour. It happens and it helps.

16.40-17.20 - conversation with personnel

At this time, the officer is talking to us on various topics. Not about what crosses his mind, of course.

An example of a conversation topic: "Intense combat training is a guarantee of strong military discipline."

17.30-18.10 - hour of soldier's letter

Everyone's favorite event. We write letters to our family and friends. I once wrote and sent 2 letters to my grandmother. Still keeps. And I'm her letter too.

10.18-22.00 - similar to Saturday

Watching the movie in private time is also included in the program.
In total, we watch at least one documentary and two feature films per weekend.

Well, how do you like your day off? Better than civilian?

I miss sports. But I found a way out. I described this output in the article "".

P.S. I think it's enough to load you with our daily routines in the army. I think I've covered it in great detail.

The main thing is to understand that all days / weeks are extremely similar to each other. Those events that I described above take place with me and my comrades every week. Very rarely something out of the ordinary happens!

Well, how do you like it? Would you like to live with such a daily routine in the army? Share your opinion in the comments right now. It is very interesting to me!

We are waiting for your comments,

The army teaches soldiers discipline and order, and therefore it is not surprising that there is a clear daily routine here. The daily routine in the army is determined by the unit commander. Such a regime is approved for the entire squad, and the need to comply with it is the direct responsibility of each of the soldiers. The daily routine may differ significantly for military personnel serving on conscription and under contract. For the officers in this case, they sign their own special regime.

Following a certain daily routine is one of the basic principles of army service. This is one of the main factors of military discipline, the observance of which is very important. In case of violations of the regime of the day, the soldier may expect various sanctions in the form of disciplinary sanctions.

The daily routine in the army may differ depending on the following factors:

  • specifics of task performance;
  • type of army.

By call

Military education is compulsory

For conscripted soldiers, a specific plan is established, which involves the conduct and implementation of a number of activities. Part of the time is devoted to study and personal needs of the serviceman.

Schedule on weekdays and weekends may vary slightly.

Consider the approximate daily routine for conscript soldiers:

  1. 06:00-07:50. At this time, the soldiers wake up, do their morning exercises, make their beds. Military personnel are examined, breakfast and preparation for classes are carried out.
  2. 08:00-08:45. Listening to radio broadcasts. Commanders inform personnel and conduct training. After that, the soldiers are sent to informative classes.
  3. 09:00-13:50. Lesson time. Usually there are 5 lessons, lasting for an hour. Between them there are 10-minute breaks. At the end of training, the soldiers are given 10 minutes to clean their shoes.
  4. 14:00-14:30. Lunch time.
  5. 14:30-16:00. Half an hour is allotted for personal time, when the soldiers can go about their business. Then another hour of self-preparation classes.
  6. 16:00-18:00. Maintenance of military equipment and weapons is carried out. After that, the servicemen change their clothes and clean their shoes. After that, the results of the day are summed up.
  7. 18:00-19:00. This time is allotted for educational and sports activities.
  8. 19:00-21:00. Hygiene.
  9. 21:00-22:00. Watching television broadcasts of an informational nature, after which 20 minutes are allotted for an evening check.
  10. 22:00. Hang up.

For good service, a soldier may receive a leave of absence for a certain time.

As mentioned above, the schedule may change depending on the day of the week and the need for additional activities. For example, on Mondays before classes, a general divorce is held on the parade ground. The purpose of the event is the announcement by the commander of the results of the past week. He also sets certain tasks and goals for the next week.

Friday is often referred to as "park day" because it involves the cleaning and maintenance of military equipment. Of course, a certain time is allotted for such actions in the general daily routine.

Saturday also has some differences. There are no regular activities on this day. Instead, the soldiers clean the premises of the units and the territory adjacent to them. These events are held within the framework of the park-economic day or PCB.

Sunday is the favorite day of most military personnel. The fact is that the rise on this day is carried out an hour later than usual, thanks to which the soldiers have the opportunity to sleep well.

If the soldier does not have any violations, the commander can let him go on dismissal. This allows the soldier to leave the territory of the unit. Otherwise, the soldier spends his free time without going beyond the perimeter.

Bathing days are also held, which involve the allocation of a certain time for washing personnel. Most often they are held twice a week. However, an unscheduled shower after chores is possible.

Bath days got their name for the reason that earlier soldiers really washed in baths. At the same time, special shower rooms have been installed on the territory of the unit for hygiene procedures.

Daily routine for contract servicemen

The mode of service of a contract soldier is different from the service of a conscript soldier

Contract service is work that involves the presence of a soldier in the unit only at a certain time, established by the regulations. Such soldiers spend the night outside the unit, for which an apartment or hostel can be used.

The daily routine of a contract soldier is planned in such a way as to maximize his involvement in performing combat and service training tasks within the 40 hours a week allotted for service by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

If a serviceman is involved in service in excess of the weekly norm described above, then the commander is obliged to provide him with a certain time for rest.

Consider some of the features of contract service:

  1. The regulation provides for the allocation of time to the soldier for physical training, lunch and training.
  2. In special cases, round-the-clock duty is possible, but they are carried out only with the appropriate order of the senior command.
  3. When a soldier is called to the service on the day of his rest, he automatically receives the right to time off.
  4. By law, a contract soldier is entitled to two days off a week. If this is not possible, then processing is paid or replaced by time off.

Thus, the daily routine of a contract soldier has the following differences from the regime of a conscript soldier:

  1. Arrival at the unit is carried out daily, from Monday to Friday, at 08:45.
  2. At 5:45 pm, the contractor's working day ends.
  3. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there are physical training classes from 15:00 to 17:00.
  4. Lunch time is an hour - from 14:00 to 15:00. Soldiers serving under contract have breakfast and dinner at home.

Officers' daily routine

Throughout the day, the officer keeps order and is responsible for each soldier

The officer's daily routine is not much different from the routine of an ordinary soldier. However, in this case, the officer controls his subordinates, and, if necessary, organizes additional events.

The officer must arrive at the unit 10-15 minutes before the general rise. After lifting the personnel, a half-hour charge is carried out. When the soldiers are busy with their personal toilet, the officer is given about an hour to plan the day, keep appropriate journals, etc. Part of this time can be used to hold meetings with unit commanders.

After that, the officer accompanies the personnel for breakfast. Then the soldiers line up, they are told the plans for the day or some other important information.

While the personnel is in the classroom, the officer is engaged in official business, namely:

  • work with the documentation;
  • organization of the functioning of the internal order;
  • training with personnel;
  • internal order check, etc.

When the personnel return from training, the officer is obliged to take the soldiers to lunch. After that, he continues to monitor compliance with the daily routine until the evening check, carried out 20 minutes before lights out. Thus, after 22:00 the officer can be free until the next day.

The general daily routine of the soldiers

Thus, the daily routine of various military personnel is largely similar and involves the following steps:

  1. Morning. Classes are held in the morning and last until lunch.
  2. Day. Lunch, personal time and maintenance of military equipment.
  3. Evening. Sports and educational activities, hygiene, recreation.

Daily routine in the classroom

The term of study in the "training" is up to six months

Some soldiers, after being called up, are distributed not to combat units, but to training ones. Military personnel come here to acquire certain skills and knowledge. The training period is 3-6 months, after which the young soldiers are distributed to various units.

The approval of the daily routine in the training unit is carried out by the commander. Here, more time is devoted to training personnel in some special skills. Other aspects of the life of soldiers practically do not differ from those that are characteristic of combat units.

After a soldier completes his training, he can receive one of the following specialties:

  1. Operator-gunner, including any related specialties.
  2. Military equipment driver.
  3. Truck crane operator, operator of heavy installations and machines.
  4. Specialties related to radio engineering, airborne and engineering troops.

Often, successful training in the training unit allows a soldier to receive the rank of junior sergeant. To do this, he additionally learns the basics of unit management, organization of work with subordinates and receives basic commanding skills.

Daily routine at military school

In this case, the regime of the day differs little from that which is present in military units. Wake up at 6 am, hang up at 22:00. Many future students of military universities do not even imagine the full extent of the difficulties that they will have to face in the course of their studies. The fact is that in military educational institutions discipline plays no less a role than in an ordinary military unit.

Therefore, during the first weeks, it is especially difficult for students to get used to their new life, because only a few adhere to such a routine under normal conditions. However, to get an officer's rank and make a career in the army, you have to sacrifice something.

Newcomers planning to join the ranks of the soldiers want to know the detailed daily routine in the army. Every day in the armed forces is intense, active and well planned. That is why the army brings up strong, brave and courageous defenders of the fatherland.

The main advantages of military service

  1. The army has a clear daily regimen, which is useful for a growing body.
  2. Military service is an excellent stimulant for strengthening the body and increasing its physical mass.
  3. The army teaches soldiers to make their own decisions even in the most critical situations.
  4. Among recruits you can find new friends and acquaintances.
  5. Soldiers have increased personal levels of self-discipline, they acquire good habits and strengthen their physical health.
  6. The strict daily routine in the army teaches young people how to properly distribute their time and be organized.
  7. Being away from home, young people begin to appreciate the simple joys of life and family comfort.

How recruits are evaluated

Most of today's youth are looking for ways to "slope" from military service. The daily routine in the army, rumors of hazing scare young people. And they begin to use the most popular trick - to look for health problems in themselves. It is the medical commission that determines the suitability of the conscript for service in the armed forces. Categories "A" are issued to guys who can serve in any army; "B" - allows you to serve in the army, but with a restriction on the place of service. Category "B" exempts the conscript from military service; the young man is only enrolled in the reserve. "D" category is assigned to guys who are generally unsuitable for the army. They do not need to undergo a second medical examination. For draftees with category “G”, the military registration and enlistment office sends a summons for the purpose of re-examination: this category means that a person is only temporarily unfit for service (until recovery). For example, if a conscript has a body mass index of less than 19, he is granted a deferment from military service until this indicator increases.

Term of military service in 2015

Recently, one of the most discussed issues is the service in the Russian army in 2015, namely, changing its term. There are rumors about its increase to 2 years or 32 months. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation answers this question unequivocally: there is no order in the Government to change the term of military service, and State Duma deputies do not discuss it. Therefore, the soldiers will serve as before - 1 year. The head of state noted that in 2015 it is planned to equip the army with 100% privates, sergeants, and the term of military service is not expected to be changed. The Government of the Russian Federation submitted to the State Duma another bill, according to which conscripts will be able to choose how they will serve: by conscription or by contract (2 years). The legislative document was approved on February 13, 2014 and entered into force. The government believes that such innovations will help increase the level of social security of military personnel. It is planned to allocate additional funds for the implementation of the bill in 2016.

Girls want to serve in the army

The State Duma of the Russian Federation is considering the possibility of issuing a new law, according to which not only men, but also women will be drafted into the army. It is planned that the fair sex will be able to join the ranks of soldiers from the age of 18 and if their age does not exceed 27. But if for young people compulsory conscription into the army is enshrined in legislation, then for girls it will operate on a voluntary basis. If the law comes into force, it will be necessary to change the barracks to meet the needs of women. But there are no plans to establish a separate daily routine in the army for the female half. An interesting fact is that in Israel girls are considered liable for military service from the age of 18. They go through military service without any concessions. Compulsory military service also operates in North Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Peru, Libya, Benin, Eritrea.

How prestigious and strong is the American military

The US military is considered to be the best in the world. What secrets of training soldiers does she hide? How different is the daily routine in the army? Regarding the second point, the daily routine of the Russian and American armies is not much different. And the Americans do not know the special secrets of training soldiers. In the US Army, the concept of morale and motivation for self-sacrifice is completely absent. Soldiers are taught to kill. But few soldiers want to die for the ideas of their country. About 2/3 of American officers are not regular. Service in the US Army for 3 years allows soldiers to get free access to expensive training in American universities. Therefore, the officer corps is partly formed from the poor sections of society, who pursue material benefits.
