How to live on 100 rubles a month. Forced diet “100 rubles a day. What products do we choose

Is it possible to live on 100 rubles a day? I, as a newly minted student, decided to conduct a small experiment and find out whether it is possible to eat healthy, tasty and inexpensive. The goal was set very simple - 100 rubles for food per day. At the same time, for good nutrition, I need at least 1800 calories and at least 60 g of protein per day.

Going to the store in search of ingredients for the dishes that I will eat next week, I immediately told myself that I do not have money for “empty calories”, so I only buy everything that is healthy. My grocery basket included: buckwheat, whole grain pasta, oatmeal, a kilogram of tomatoes, cucumbers, pears and cabbage, 7 bananas, some potatoes, beets, carrots and onions, zucchini and delicious whole grain bread. From protein products, I took lentils, a jar of canned beans and peanuts. The price of all these products turned out to be pleasant, and, most importantly, the cost of my purchase did not exceed 700 rubles.

So the first thing I did was make the lentil pate. A sandwich with such a “spread” is not only hearty, but also very tasty. Suitable for both breakfast and lunch.

In the morning I boiled my favorite oatmeal, adding a banana for sweetness and peanuts to it. If you have a jar of grandmother's jam in your bins - use it too, such a breakfast will definitely saturate and give energy for the whole day!

One day for lunch I made a vegetarian borscht with beans. To cook it, I had to call my mother and get the recipe. If you, like me, are also just learning the culinary arts, I advise you to do the same! And over dinner, I decided to experiment and cooked pasta with vegetables. To do this, the tomatoes must be turned into tomato paste, add onion, garlic, grated carrots and chopped zucchini to it, stew all this over medium heat and add to the pasta boiled before.

Soon I decided to diversify my breakfast and make smoothies instead of the traditional oatmeal. I added a banana, pears and seasonal apples to it, which my friends treated me to. I really liked this breakfast, especially since fresh fruits contain a huge amount of vitamins and minerals that can improve overall health.

For dinner, I alternated pasta with buckwheat, seasoning them with vegetables, and for the future I decided to try all the existing cereals, as I'm sure you can get the most out of each. Sometimes I made a "light dinner" and ate only a vegetable salad.

I must say that even a week-long experiment has borne fruit. I noticed that I became much more energetic, and my skin condition improved. I definitely didn’t stay hungry, and I’ll spend the money that I saved on chocolates and other not the most healthy food on something really worthwhile, which I had long dreamed of, but could not afford.

For you, friends, I give the full layout of the products I ate in a week. The recipe for lentil pate (and many others) can be found on the website 8doktorov.ru. And thanks to my favorite SIT30 app for helping me calculate calories and JFU!

For 57 years (from 1934 to 1991) in the USSR, the 100-ruble banknote was the largest

How to live on a hundred rubles a week without borrowing money and without losing your own dignity?

A detailed strategy from an experienced rogue - in case the salary is still far away,

and only a hundred remained in his pocket.

I will tell you how to survive on a hundred rubles a week ..............................

Many people know (and I do not hide it) that I often find myself in a financial hole. This is due to the fact that I do not know how to spend money wisely. That is, I can, being in a mortgage, give a damn about everything and go on vacation on an exciting journey, and then suck my paw and pay off my debts, or one day I can spend several thousand rubles in a bar simply because “I haven’t had fun for a long time.”

But I have been struggling with this problem, and have been keeping a journal of expenses for four months now. Let me tell you it helps.

Understanding what my hard-earned money is spent on, I analyze, predict and even save.

So, thanks to this strategy, for the first time in my bachelor life, I saved up for something: I managed to buy a lens for my camera. Poor, of course, for only 12 thousand, but still!

Before that, I had times when there was a whole week or even two before the salary, and only two hundred rubles in my pocket. What to do? How to live? And how not to whine?

At first I whined, and this, of course, annoyed everyone. But now I am an experienced rogue, and I can give useful advice on how to survive on 100 rubles a week.

But these tips won't help people who don't live in a small town and smoke (or quit).

As for the rest... you can manage without borrowing money, and at the same time not lose your dignity and not humiliate yourself in front of anyone .......................... ................... . So, let's begin. To survive on a hundred:-

1. Walk and enjoy it. I didn’t have to get used to it, because I am always either on my feet or on a bike.

2. Stock up. Always in case of a financial asshole, you should have cereals, potatoes, canned food,

eggs and other non-perishable products that will help you out in difficult times.

You can throw dumplings in the freezer, but for some reason they don’t last long for me.....................

3. Remember your friends and relatives, go to visit them.

They will surely offer you tea or even a full dinner, which is simply stupid to refuse.

If these are very close people, then they will understand and feed you, and if not, then it’s better not to tell them about your money problems, but don’t refuse politely offered food.

- Zhenya, maybe pasta? I just cooked!
— Hmm... why not? I haven't tried your food in a long time!

4. The darkest thing is the birthdays that fall on the days of poverty. You can excuse yourself by lying that you have a lot of work or that you are sick, and not congratulate the birthday man at the celebration, ..............

and you can do needlework and give something of your own, special.

Then you will eat a cake, and you will not spend money, and you will show off your originality in front of your friends.

5. Don't be discouraged by your poverty. Treat this as a kind of adventure and quest. If you dig in the freezer, you can find a bunch of interesting things there that you forgot about.

For example, frozen berries. Very cool dessert! Try to make some of the found products and discover new things in cooking!
I will tell you about the new in cooking next time, by the way.

You look - and the precious weaving will remain untouched.

I hope this post of mine will help someone, because I'm not the only one in my beloved country like this.

But, most likely, he will cheer me up myself, because I'm just in the stage of thriftiness: -

stocking lockers with food, because June, according to my forecasts, will be very hungry. .........................

Every year, the situation with the pricing policy in the product market tends to rise, while pensions and salaries are not always in a hurry to do the same. If this happens, it is carried out extremely imperceptibly to the consumer.

Due to these circumstances, families are worried about their future and the future of loved ones, since it is not always possible to buy the desired products, but you have to be content with little, with enough money.

Having become interested in this issue, it became quite curious how people are able to exist on low wages and pensions. After all, some of them somehow survive on the amount of 5,000 rubles a month, of which they spend about 100 rubles a day on food.

What is included in the list of products on the menu of each day for such a low amount of money?

In the first place is the simplest and relatively cheap - cereals:

pasta;

pearl barley;

beans and more.

The above products act as a side dish and are not difficult to prepare. And most importantly, they are very inexpensive.

From buckwheat, rice, millet, it is possible to cook both milk porridge for breakfast and porridge with sautéed vegetables (onions, carrots) for dinner. Beans, peas, pasta likewise go well with sautéed vegetables.

In second place, they act as a delicious side dish - cabbage, potatoes, zucchini, eggplant and other vegetables, with which you can cook, for example, stew. Just a few ingredients are enough to prepare a very simple, healthy dinner. These vegetables can be cooked separately, which is also inexpensive and practical.

The advantages of cereals and vegetables are that they last for a relatively long time. At least a few times for sure. There is no need to spend money every day to cook your own dinner. Here, in itself, the conclusion suggests itself: in order to save money, you can cook for several days at once. Thus, every day you either don’t have to buy anything at all, or it will be some kind of minimum - bread, eggs, milk, etc. In any case, the amount will not reach 100 rubles.

With the opportunity to save on second courses, the opportunity to save on first courses immediately arises. To get a rich broth, the easiest option is chicken. The best way to be financially moderate is to buy a whole chicken. In this case, it will make the first and second course, and it will again be calculated for several days. In the variant with fish, a similar situation is possible, as well as the purchase of canned fish, from which a very tasty soup is obtained. As they say - cheap and cheerful!

My Survival Experience

I'll tell you my own experience of survival for 100 rubles a day. I live alone, I adhere to the above rules in buying products, I try to cook both the first and second at once for a week. On weekends, I can afford to buy meat with the money saved for almost the entire week. I try to buy everything in such a way that the first and second dishes are taken into account, otherwise it will be a waste of money.

If I plan to fry fish, then I use flour several times. That is, I put the rest of the flour in a bag until the next frying of the fish. I sign this package because if I want to fry cutlets or chicken, these are all separate packages. As a rule, I adapted that there is enough flour for two frying of this or that dish. I have already learned how to do it and I make sure that nothing is stale.

I always analyze the flavors and combinations of the products that I buy, so that simple things can be made tasty and varied.

Nothing ever goes missing in my fridge.

Also, I have a lot of friends who often invite me to visit. This is another moment when I save on dinner or lunch. Friends know my situation and try to help in every possible way. They bring me various preserves and dismiss when I say that it is inconvenient to accept all this. I don't think I should be ashamed of it - I'm not asking for anything myself.

Newspapers sometimes have coupons for heavily discounted meals. My friends enjoy this moment. In the dining room, on the day of its opening, you can dine for a penny or even for free. They do not always invite me, only on holidays, because together they are twice cheaper or I am lucky that they pay for me.

I try to buy everything at a discount, or at a very low price. I can buy expired products, if the expiration date has ended the other day, then I don’t see anything wrong with that. I have long paid attention to where cheap products are in supermarkets. Usually, it is located on the lower shelves and looks extremely inconspicuous.

In general, there are a lot of promotions in supermarkets. If you compare them with ordinary, small shops, you can feel a clear difference in money.

I know the prices of all products by heart.

Of course, this applies to products that are of interest only to me.

If I need to buy a certain product that is lower in price category in only one store, no matter how far it is, I will definitely go to it. I don't mind wasting my time on this. The main thing is that I will not spend my money, which I already have little.

I buy clothes at well-known trading floors such as Avito and Yuly. Here you can buy quite decent things. Sometimes even better than in the most fashionable store. Sometimes, it turns out to sell some of their things. So, it happens, I earn extra money for additional joy in food.

I'm trying to get a second job because I don't have enough money. I work as a part-time kindergarten teacher. I can't get a job, the place is occupied. I love children so much that I close my eyes to my life. One thought constantly visits me, that while there is no own child, it is somehow possible to live, or rather to exist on a beggarly salary.

It happens that the rest of the food after dinner in kindergarten, the nanny and I divide in half and take home. I don’t see anything wrong here, they throw away this food anyway. So, here's another one of my savings in life. True, not every day I'm so lucky. But there is variety in the food.

In general, I live modestly and cheaply. I thank our government every day for the opportunity to learn what poverty is. Although they show on TV that such miserable salaries no longer exist. All this is and will be, but the statistics provided are unreliable and work only for the state.

I hope my advice will be useful for a reader with similar problems!

To be honest, when I set up this experiment, I did not include spending on a cat, and I had to replace transportation costs with walking. Only then did a very small amount prove to be quite tolerable for survival.

First day

In the morning I spent 20 rubles on a trolleybus, I took a ready-made lunch with me to work, and only in the evening, returning home, I realized that only 80 rubles were left of the limited funds. At the same time, the minimum supply of food: bread, potatoes, butter, tea, milk, salt, sugar and pepper, was already at home.

I decided that I'll make do with fried potatoes in the evening. I took a package of onions for 15 rubles - its supply was enough for subsequent preparations - a package of crackers for tea for 17 rubles and thought that I immediately needed to buy something for breakfast: I limited myself to oatmeal and an apple. All together came to 75 rubles. So there are 5 left.

Second day

The next day I started with a reserve of 105 rubles and a determination not to spend money on transport. When you limit yourself in spending, you begin to pay more and more attention to stocks. Therefore, the choice of my dinner was made by the price of saury - which means there will be fish soup. A jar of canned food came out for 44 rubles - almost half of my "savings". Onions and potatoes were at home, and a bag with two large carrots cost 19 rubles.

When you live alone, a pot of soup is enough for lunch and dinner, and sometimes you can even cook for several days. Therefore, in the evening I finished my dinner preparations, but for tea I took another small package of waffles for 41 rubles. That is, I spent 104 rubles per day.

Third day

Cereals and vegetables turned out to be inexpensive: I cooked buckwheat for 20 rubles with onions and carrots, which I had at home and decided to make a salad. I bought a head of cabbage for 18 rubles, tomatoes for 24 and took a bunch of greens for 15 rubles.

In the evening I realized that only 24 rubles were left. You can't go wrong with this amount. Yes, there is already a little more food at home, but I would like something meaty. Although no matter what options you consider with meat and 100 rubles a day, they are not on the way with you. And even more so, if only 24 of 101 are left. Here, either exceed your expenses, or remember your student days and buy cheap noodles, which, by the way, can be quickly brewed, or live on what you have.

The last option suited me, and I decided to immediately invest these 24 rubles the next day, and stew cabbage and potatoes in the evening.

Fourth day

The morning started with scrambled eggs fried with tomatoes and onions. Eggs bought for 58 rubles. There are 67 left for the day.

In the afternoon there was a dilemma: vegetable soup or rice with the same vegetables. Luka still had a little left, bought carrots for 17 rubles, pepper for 20 and took rice. Lunch, and at the same time dinner, was ready.
