New mods for fallout 4 archive. Best Fallout: New Vegas Mods

Have you explored the wasteland far and wide? It's time to change it.

There are people who play games, and there are those who constantly remake them. Singling out for Fallout 4 is quite a challenge, as there are already thousands of different projects from talented modders out there that change, improve and add variety to Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG released in 2015. Nevertheless, we have tried to collect in one list the most prominent of them. The selection will be updated as new worthy mods are released.

As always, carefully read the requirements and instructions for installing each mod, as well as compatibility with the latest version of Fallout 4, before downloading them.

Dropped off the main list

Even after you've cleaned up every piece of trash in your settlement, it still looks like a dump, doesn't it? That's because there are a lot of things you can't remove: mounds of dirt, piles of rubble, and weeds that have broken through the concrete. Spring Cleaning allows you to remove all these things that hate the eye, making real order in your city possible.

It adds many new items to use in your settlement, such as vehicles, military vehicles, furniture, decorations, and many more that should have been available when building in the first place.

There is a settlement in Fallout 4 where you can find robots programmed to work in the garden. Unlike other settlements, here they sow not on the ground, but on special small plantations located next to each other. This mod allows you to build these plantations on all other settlements. They react to it in different ways, either “Well, who cares at all?” or “Yes, damn it, this is exactly what I needed!”.

Mods for building settlements and crafting

Download

This mod by user kinggath offers a whole new way to build settlements by introducing a system similar to what we saw in SimCity: you divide your settlement into several districts (residential, commercial, industrial and rural), and the inhabitants build their own houses and warehouses, simultaneously doing housekeeping. Your settlement will grow as the NPCs start making changes to their homes, and you won't have to keep track of every little detail like choosing furniture or wall colors.

It's a rotorcraft you can live in. It doesn't technically fly - it's more of a way to quickly move around the map, but you can create landing zones all over the map and move between them. The living quarters are quite small and the vertibird's engine needs to be cooled down regularly, but it's still a cozy living space with a handy crafting bench and powerful turrets to scare off neighbors.

Download

Place Everywhere allows you to place previously static objects like workbenches anywhere on the map, making the building process much easier. In addition, you can build anywhere - in trees, on the surface of the water, and even inside other objects. Red warnings are a relic of the past. The mod requires the Fallout Script Extender utility, which can be found at the end of the list.

Download

Tired of carrying everything that comes to hand back to your settlement? This mod will help you. Make beacons, take them with you, and when your inventory is full during your adventures, just put everything extra in a container and equip it with a beacon for the inhabitants of your settlement to take it. They will stack everything near your workbench, which will save you a lot of time.

Download

Considering the heavy focus on building in Fallout 4, it's odd that Bethesda didn't think of something like this. This mod allows you to create residents right in your workshop. synthetic inhabitants. Turn off your radio beacon, because now you can populate your outposts with friendly (or not so) synths created by you.

Download

Building power lines in your village in Fallout 4 has become much easier with the release of a mod by Daedragon. Since you use perforated metal (or wooden) walls to build houses, why not run wires through them? This mod greatly facilitates the issue of energy supply, replacing standard power lines with compact wires. They can even be stretched through roofs.

Download

Need to hide for a while from the dead eyes of local settlers? Basement Living adds 10 self-contained basements and bunkers as their own cozy retreats. You can place a cellar in any settlement, and each will come with a 100 power electrical box and a workbench, so you can do whatever you want there.

conquest

Download

Now the van doesn't have to stick to the settlements that are featured in Fallout 4, because now you can make your own almost anywhere you want. This mod adds campsites that you can place anywhere you want, and if you're lucky with the location, it can be upgraded to a full settlement. You can create and destroy up to ten new settlements.

Download

It's nice that factions provide you with a place to live after joining them, but usually their offer is not something you want to spend your time on. This series of mods turns these faction handouts into much more beautiful and spacious dwellings, with workbenches, a hall, nice decorations and plenty of free space. Available for Vault 81, Prydwen, the Railroad, the Castle, and The Institute.

Download

If you are using the Contraptions Workshop DLC for Fallout 4, then you will definitely want to install this mod, which greatly improves the factories on your settlements. It adds a number of logical features, such as conveyor belts that take any trash directly from the inventory and return full-fledged items.

New machines are also appearing, such as a loom for creating bunker clothing and faction outfits, forges for heavy armor, ranged and close-range weapons, and an alcohol plant where you can create cola and booze. There is even a machine for processing corpses (including human ones) into meat, bones and skin.

Download

Settlers who come to the call on the radio are usually... boring. Most of them are roughly similarly dressed, and sometimes it's hard to tell them apart unless they each have something special to wear. This mod adds over 150 new settlers, so the new gardeners and peat harvesters will now look at least a little more individual. And another mod, Don't Call Me Settler, will also give them unique names.

Download

If you suddenly want to customize or change the appearance of your character after you leave your home at the beginning of Fallout 4, then now you can do it with the help of plastic surgery. This mod allows you to do this in any of your settlements by simply adding a mirror to your workshop. Place a mirror on any wall and using it allows you to change your look.

Download

Courting your settlement can become quite a tedious task, and even after carefully stacking all your belongings, they are likely to be knocked over later by a bumbling worker, companion, or even you. This mod not only simplifies the placement of items (loot items can now be moved directly as static objects using the workshop menu), but also allows you to fix them in place to avoid falling. Perfect.

Download

The size of your settlement in Fallout 4 is strictly limited, it can only be "so" large, and you can only use "so many" objects. And it's very annoying, especially when you are going to create a huge base, and then you suddenly have to stop. The Higher Settlement Budget mod fixes this problem, but be aware that too many objects can slow down, or even crash your game.

Download

Like the previous mod, Homemaker expands your options for working with the settlement. It includes two new garden plants, more walls and fences, 30 new types of lighting, and new containers (ammo boxes and lockers). You can even find meat bags if you like to store food in meat bags, of course. Some do it.

Graphics and weather improvements

Download

While the look of Fallout 4 is definitely more colorful and less greenish than Fallout 3, it's still a bit washed out. This ReShade/SweetFX file, once installed, will brighten up the external dynamics of the game. You can preview the images before installation, showing that the changes are not too drastic, but the pop colors are now a little better.

Download

On the other hand, you may not think that the post-apocalypse should look so colorful and bright. Stalker Lighting takes colors away, making the world more harsh, unforgiving, gloomy. It's the end of the world, after all. And now he looks the same.

Download

If you look closely, a lot of the textures in Fallout 4 aren't exactly breathtaking, which is especially noticeable if you carefully play through the game, instead of chasing at maximum speeds. One modder has been hard at work increasing the detail of the terrain textures in order to make your walk through the wasteland a little more beautiful.

Download

If you want to make the nights in Fallout 4 really look like nights, then you need this mod. With a choice of seven different night settings, it will make your evenings either a little darker or pitch black. Interiors will also become darker at night if they are not well lit with lights. Use wisely.

Download

This mod makes shell casings visible at long distances (500 meters) during firefights, and delays their disappearance much longer (an hour). This is a small change, but adds a little realism to the game. After a big fight, the ground should literally be covered in shell casings, and now it will. Goes well with a mod that makes bullet trails last longer and visible at longer distances.

Download

On the subject of rain: someone changed the textures of the frail and barely noticeable drops from Bethesda. The drops are now thicker and shorter, making you feel like you're under a post-apocalyptic downpour. Circles on the water from drops have also been redone. The comparison is well shown in this video.

Gameplay Improvements

Download

This mod intends to be a complete, massive collection of bug fixes for RPGs from Bethesda. At the moment, there are already fixes for object placement, sounds, problems with slot items, meshes and textures, quests and NPCs, perks and statistics, and many more equally significant improvements. The mod never stops developing.

MGS Aiming

Download

If you are used to frequently changing the camera mode in Fallout 4, especially while aiming, then this mod will come in handy. It automatically switches from 3rd person to 1st person when you look through the scope - much like Metal Gear Solid. You no longer have to press the desired button or use the mouse wheel; the game will automatically return to normal mode after you finish shooting.

Download

One of the main characteristics of the post-apocalyptic world is complete chaos. So why not bring the surroundings to a more pleasant look? Commonwealth Cleanup allows you to get rid of 130,000 static items, including garbage, abandoned cars, mountains of tires, vending machines, air conditioners and other trash that fills locations. At the same time, everything that you decide to get rid of can be used as a raw material for crafting.

Download

The intimidate perk is fun to use to subdue enemies, but in the past, it was only useful for making opponents raise their hands and stop shooting. This mod gives you new options: enemies can be robbed, handcuffed, or simply let go.

Take cover

Download

The mod introduces a system of covers into Fallout 4, because of which you can peek out from time to time and make aimed shots. It can be customized to automatically hide behind covers by approaching them or by pressing the appropriate key. You can even push some of the objects you hide behind. Very good.

Everyone's Best Friend

Download

Seems a bit silly that Doggie can't be taken with you if you have another companion, doesn't it? This mod fixes the situation, so that your faithful dog will always accompany you, even if you go on an adventure with another partner.

Download

I don't even know why the developers at Bethesda thought we'd enjoy watching slow text pop up on hundreds of different terminals in Fallout 4. Of course, you can click the mouse to speed up the process, or you can solve the problem once and for all by installing this mod , which allows you to set the speed at which the text appears. Personally, I increased it by 100 times.

Get Out Of My Face

Download

Allies are too close? Push them away. A mutated cow blocked the way? Push her away. Opponents violate your personal space? Push them away too. Tired of NPCs getting stuck in doors? Or annoying heroes getting in the way? Or do you, like me, just like pushing everyone around? Whatever the reason, install this mod to spectacularly push everyone around and watch them fly away. It looks like shouting "Fus ro da!" from Skyrim migrated to Fallout 4. It's great. It's incredibly great.

Download

Pretty useful mod, despite the dubious name ("Eat off the floor"). When you find food or drink in Fallout 4, you must first put the item in your inventory before eating or drinking it. This is logical, but not very convenient in practice - you need to open the Pip-boy and look for the food you just found. After all, in fact, you should already have it in your hands. This mod allows you to immediately eat the food found on the table, shelf or floor, skipping the inventory fuss.

Download

Do you want new satellites that don't just mindlessly walk around you? Not only will you be able to train the beasts, but you will also be able to decorate them with paint or put armor on them. You can always find them with a surveillance chip, treat them to treats, and even teach them tricks.

Download

Absolutely every player sooner or later got into a situation where his pockets were filled to the limit. And here a mod comes to the rescue, which will help you choose what to carry and what to leave. This is a small addition to the UI screen of your Pip-Boy, showing the ratio of the item's price to its weight. Fight smarter, not harder!

Download

If you're missing the dialog boxes from early Fallout games, and aren't a fan of the new look, help is here. This mod shows full versions of your lines instead of a faint hint of them. You no longer have to guess what your sarcastic response will turn out to be, now you will know for sure.

Download

Radiation storms are a pretty serious thing, but not enough to affect your plans. If you expected a more hostile world, then now it will become really scary. Damage to your health will now increase significantly: radiation sometimes rises to 100 rads, and this will happen more often.

Download

Tired of selling a merchant a bunch of things, later noticing that he doesn't have enough caps to pay for everything, which is why you have to spend time searching among the goods for something to buy just to complete the transaction? This mod increases the amount of caps from merchants to such a level that he has the opportunity to buy from you all that pile of garbage that you are going to throw on him.

Download

Rad-deer are peaceful. But they are always marked as enemies, despite the fact that they are almost never interested in attacking you. Your companions, in turn, perceive them as enemies, and go berserk to kill them, while you simply try to pass through a certain part of the wasteland and fight creatures that will at least fight you back. This mod solves the problem by simply changing the rad deer's tag to green, so your teammate will leave them alone.

Download

Doesn't it annoy you that when your character runs around with a weapon in his hand, that it is constantly visible in front of you when you play in first person? Most people don't pay attention to it at all, but if you think about it, this way of moving should quickly tire your hands. This small change lowers your cannon when you hold it out of combat.

New locations and adventures

Pilgrim - Dread the Commonwealth

Download

Fallout 4 can be pretty creepy at times, especially when you're being attacked by ghouls, but it's not horror in the conventional sense. If this upsets you, then use Pilgrim-Dread the Commonwealth. It completely changes the atmosphere of the game: just watch the trailer to see how Fallout 4 turns into a mixture of the Stalker series and the movie The Road. Pilgrim uses modified graphics and a weather system, which is a kind of reference to the film "The Witch" (2015) by director Robert Eggers.

Download

If you want to turn Fallout 4 into a harsh one, then this mod will be a real discovery for you. The action here takes place immediately after the nuclear bombings. There are no quests here: your task is simple - you need to survive in deadly conditions. Most of the NPCs have been cut from the game, dangerous new enemies have appeared in the wasteland, and the outside world is full of radiation, so it's better not to lean out without protective equipment. It's a brutal, unforgiving world that all challengers should enjoy.

Download

Tired of mini-games on holotapes in Fallout 4? How about a more fun alternative? Here is the Revolted mod, which presents a retro shooter in the style of the 90s. Created by a user named Cohagen, the mod has a colorful soundtrack, funny overacting actors and 2D sprites stretched over 3D character models, which creates an atmosphere of nostalgia. You can find the game in a bar in Concord - on a computer terminal located on the second floor.

Download

There are plenty of boarded-up buildings in Fallout 4 - there are even too many of them, given that the world is full of marauders, who, in theory, should have penetrated them long ago. The final goal of the modder is to work out the interior of each of these buildings, as was the case with . Thus, the game has new places where you can profit, and this makes the world a little more realistic.

Download

This mod connects most of the subway stations in Fallout 4 with a network of tunnels, allowing you to navigate the dangerous world in a new way. Of course, ghouls, marauders and other enemies live in the tunnels. And you need to deal with them if you want to roam safely underground, as enemies killed in the underground do not respawn. There you can also find beds that will come in handy if you decide to settle in the subway.

Download

Have you played Fallout 4 several times and now want something new in terms of role-playing? Alternate Start lets you skip the standard intro and start playing as someone else. You can start the game as a Goodneighbor newcomer, a raider or mercenary, a member of the Church of the Atom, or a passenger on a sunken ship. This will be a fresh start and a new way of passing the game.

Weapons and equipment

Remote Explosives

Download

The more ways to blow up enemies, the more fun it is to play, and therefore this mod will definitely not be superfluous. From now on, you will be able to detonate all types of explosives remotely. It is enough to hide the bomb in someone's clothes, move a decent distance and activate the detonator.

Download

This is clearly a parody of the Creation Club from Bethesda itself, a tool that creates things and equipment that are sold for real money. But on its own, this mod is pretty funny. It adds a golf club that spawns random (and free) items every time you swing it. And when you get tired of it, the club can be used for its intended purpose - to exterminate enemies.

Fusion Gun

Download

Do you have extra nuclear blocks? Now you can use them to craft ammo for new weapons (actually it is a set of several weapons). Initially, the Fusion Gun mod gives us a new gun, but over time it can be turned into any gun - from a shotgun to a sniper or assault rifle. The trailer shows all the variety of the new toy.

Download

If you don't like opaque crosshairs and a short screen dimming when you want to use them, check out this mod. Now all sights on weapons in the game become transparent. You can either add new sights or modify existing ones. You can even customize the appearance of sights in the game itself.

Download

Modder DOOM has been releasing new weapons for Fallout 4 for months, but now he's got all 10 in one set. Here are assault rifles, a Desert Eagle, a MAC-11 submachine gun, and even a replica of Deckard's personal pistol from Blade Runner.

Download

We all love explosives in Fallout 4. And we'd love them even more if frag grenades actually scatter shrapnel. This mod fixes this oversight, making the grenades behave as they should. From now on, simple explosions are replaced by a deadly scattering of fragments around the area, so do not forget to hide in shelters so as not to take damage.

Download

If you're not a big fan of the Pip-Boy's built-in flashlight, which dimly illuminates your surroundings, then you can use the same shoulder torch as the marines from the Aliens movie. I think you will notice that it functions much better. Moreover, you can not only buy it from merchants, but also make it yourself at your workbench. You can even choose the color of the lighting to your liking.

Download

What is wrong with leather jackets, why can't you attach pieces of armor with straps to, for example, a good evening suit? In addition to being able to wear any outfit under your armor, you can also put on a hat or helmet complete with a gas mask, you can put armored caps on your hat, and even craft a completely new outfit. This mod was created using FO4Edit.

Download

This well-animated crossbow will be a good addition to your already large arsenal, and it's not just a regular, static weapon. It can be upgraded using your workbench, crafting and using many different types of bolts as projectiles. The crossbow is quiet and perfect for stealth kills, and its high damage is offset by its slow reload speed, so the add-on will keep the game balanced.

Any Mod Any Weapon

Download

If you want to take wasteland carnage to a whole new level, then this mod will allow you to create weapons from your worst nightmares. It allows you to install any weapon upgrade on any weapon. Now you can make a three-barreled minigun electric, mount Fat Man on an alien laser gun, or make any other Frankenstein weapon your imagination can imagine. And the presented video from Tyrannicon will show you a few more options.

Download

You can build a wide variety of things on your workstations, everything from weapon upgrades to honey. drugs and grenades. But why not shells? This mod allows you to craft any kind of ammunition in the game at your chemical stations: shotguns, flares, miniature nuclear warheads, flamethrower fuel and much more that you can remember or come up with (unless it's something really unrealistic, such as tomato moon-piercing cartridges).

But to do something worthwhile, you need to pump parameters such as Gun Nut, Science and Demolition well.

Tools and Utilities

Nexus Mod Manager

Download

NMM is compatible with Fallout 4, and as time goes by, mods become more and more necessary, so this will come in handy. It is also compatible with other RPG games such as The Witcher 3, Dark Souls 1 and 2, and World of Tanks. Which makes installing and working with mods through the Nexus extremely enjoyable.

Fallout 4 Script Extender

Download

As Fallout 4 modding becomes more popular, so does the popularity of the Fallout 4 Script Extender. This utility allows you to use mods without changing the game's executable files, so even if something goes wrong with the mod, it will not affect the game.

mods.bethesda.net

With the advent of official modding tools, Bethesda's own fallout 4 mods repository has arrived. After registering (free of charge), you'll be able to view and download mods even in the middle of a game.

Bethesda has yet to release a full modding tool for its new game, but fans have already created tons of mods that improve gameplay, graphics and other aspects of the fresh post-apocalyptic RPG. We decided to collect the most useful and interesting modifications that you may need in the passage of Fallout 4. All the mods below can be downloaded from the popular NexusMods portal.

How to make Fallout 4 moddable

The current version of Fallout 4 does not natively support mods. To activate mod support, you need to perform simple steps:
  1. Go to Documents\My Games\Fallout 4
  2. Open file FalloutPrefs.ini
  3. Find a line
  4. Add a line below it bEnableFileSelection=1
  5. Save file
If the line is already present, but the value in it is 0, then it needs to be changed to 1. A little more editing ini files:
  1. In the same folder, open the Fallout4.ini file
  2. Find a line sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
  3. Replace it with sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
  4. Save file
All this is relevant if you want to install mods manually. You can also use the mod manager from NexusMods. Everything in it is done automatically and very simply.

Graphic arts

Enhanced Wasteland Preset
The Enhanced Wasteland Preset mod improves graphics on ultra settings. Of course, it is recommended only for owners of very powerful PCs. The goal of the creators of the modification was to improve the visual atmosphere, as well as to make the picture more realistic. The Enhanced Wasteland Preset has heavily changed lighting, shadows, and added several new effects. The changes can be seen in the screenshots:

Installing the Enhanced Wasteland Preset is very simple: just download all the files from NexusMods and move them to your Fallout 4 root folder, which is usually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4.

Darker Nights
If you think that the nights in Fallout 4 are not dark enough, then you can use the Darker Nights mod. The modification makes the game more realistic in terms of night lighting. There are 7 levels of darkness in total. The seventh is definitely the most atmospheric.

Also in Darker Nights there are alternative night vision scopes for weapons. Installing the mod is very simple: you just need to transfer the main modification file to the \Fallout 4\Data\ folder.

Fallout 4 seasons
If you want the wasteland in Fallout 4 to really live its own life, then you should install the Fallout 4 Seasons mod. It adds a full-fledged change of seasons to the game with visual changes - everything turns green in spring, the sun shines brightly and vegetation rages in summer, autumn is similar to the original Fallout 4 graphics, and snow falls in winter, which crushes everything under itself.
Before installation, it is recommended to backup all game data. Installation: unzip all files to \Fallout4\Data.

Enhanced Blood Textures
Fallout 4 does not have the most elaborate and beautiful blood textures, but the Enhanced Blood Textures mod fixes this. The modification adds a high resolution texture for the blood, which is displayed on the environment, and also improves the appearance of blood on the screen. You can choose between several types of textures - brighter or darker blood.

Installing Enhanced Blood Textures is pretty straightforward. A detailed description is available in the Readme file.

WET - Water Enhancement Textures
Improved the appearance of blood. Why not do it with water now? The Water Enhancement Textures mod slightly changes the water textures in Fallout 4. Rivers and seas look slightly more realistic up close and at a distance. It is worth noting that the mod practically does not affect performance. With WET, it is also recommended to install the FO4 RAIN mod, which makes the rain in the game less blurry and more realistic.

Installation is simple - unpack all files in \Fallout4\Data.

Vivid Fallout 4
Mod Vivid Fallout 4 - Rocks is an improved texture of rocks and rocks. Nothing unusual, but the game looks nice.

The developer notes that his mod even improves the performance of Fallout 4. Installation is very simple.

Stalker Lightning
Modification Stalker Lightning will definitely appeal to owners of very powerful systems. The mod completely reworks the lighting of Fallout 4 in the direction of a more gloomy and photorealistic. All bright colors are muted, the light is much less, and the shadows are more expressive. With Stalker Lightning, the game definitely becomes much more atmospheric.

Installation: extract all files to the root folder with Fallout 4.

Wasteland Salon and The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition
These two mods improve the default hairstyles and eye textures for characters. Hairstyles are more detailed and more hair colors are available.

The pupils are more pronounced and the textures are high resolution. The eyes of the characters become more alive - this is especially noticeable in the dialogues.

Performance

Fallout 4 - Texture Optimization Project
If you have a weak computer, then the Fallout 4 - Texture Optimization Project modification will make your life much easier. It replaces standard high-resolution textures with compressed ones without much quality loss. The mod significantly increases the FPS value.

Fallout 4 Tweaks and More FPS
This mod is a simple modified ini file that is specially optimized for weak systems. The modification greatly degrades the graphics and disables many effects.

FPS dynamic shadows
This modification significantly changes the shadow system in Fallout 4 towards higher performance. This is especially true for urban locations, where there are a lot of shadows. You can evaluate the work of the mod on the screenshots:

Installation: move the ShadowBoost.asi, xinput1_3.dll and ShadowBoost.ini files to the root folder of the Fallout 4 game.

ULG - Ultra Low Graphics mod
If your computer is really bad, then you can use the ULG mod, which adds an ultra-low graphics settings mode. The modification is perfect for not the most productive laptops and older PCs.

You need to download Java to install.

Gameplay

Lowered Weapons
Not the most unusual or useful mod, but realistic. The protagonist, while idle, always holds the weapon in the same mode as he usually does when running. It's more realistic and atmospheric. And the in-game characters will definitely be happy if you do not constantly poke weapons at them.

Installation: unzip all files to the \Fallout4\Data folder.

Configurable Power Armor Fusion Core Drain
If you are not satisfied with the speed at which power armor consumes a charge, you can use this mod. It allows you to choose between several levels of energy consumption - from the slowest (for casual players) to the most hardcore, when running and flying on a jetpack “eat up” the most nuclear charge.

Craftable Ammunition
In the past parts of Fallout, you could craft ammo. Despite the fact that the crafting system in the fourth part came out very well, you cannot create cartridges in Fallout 4. But this can be easily fixed with the Craftable Ammunition mod. You can craft all kinds of ammo, even a nuclear mini-charge. Of course, the modification affects the in-game balance, but the player will never be left without ammo if he uses crafting.

Installation is simple: unzip the mod file to the \Fallout 4\Data\ directory.

Power Armor Fast Exit and Enter
After several tens of hours of play, many people may get bored with the animation of the main character leaving power armor. This can also be fixed with a mod that speeds up the animation.

Such a modification will be useful in battles when you need to jump out of the armor as quickly as possible.

Realistic Survival Damage
The legendary difficulty in Fallout 4 only increases the number of dangerous enemies, and also changes their health and damage (not in favor of the player). As a result, at the legendary level, enemies need to be planted great amount ammo, which is not very realistic. The Realistic Survival Damage mod brings Legendary difficulty back to normal, causing enemies and the player to deal and take 3x more damage.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

Killable Children
With the release of each new Fallout, starting with the third part, the creators of mods release a "patch" that makes local children mortal. Fallout 4 is no exception - a modification is already available that equates in-game children with ordinary mortal NPCs.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

Faster Merchant Money Reset
A very simple and useful modification that reduces the time for spawning money from merchants - 24 in-game hours. Now in the game you do not need to wait two days to sell your goods to the merchant.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

No Level Scaling
The modification removes something that sometimes makes Bethesda games too illogical - the growth of the level of enemies along with the pumping of the main character. The mod leaves all characters and monsters at the level at which they first appear in the game - their health and damage do not increase as the main character is upgraded. With this modification, at the end of the game, you will feel really powerful.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

Interface, audio and more

Value per Weight indicator for container UI
If you constantly monitor your weight and win back the ultimate merchant in Fallout, then this mod may be of interest to you. It adds an additional parameter to the description of items - cost per weight. It is automatically calculated from the value of the item and its weight. The parameter will determine whether it is worth taking this thing with you in order to sell it later, or leave it anyway.

PipWare UI Fallout 4 Edition
The mod increases the menu of items when trading, and also speeds up scrolling in it. Initially, the modification may seem useless, but then you will definitely appreciate it - it helps a lot when trading.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\.

NewDialog
One of the must-have mods that changes the not-too-successful dialogue wheel to the traditional system used in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The redesigned menu displays full replicas. Now the player is sure what the main character will say, and will not guess what is hidden behind the "[Sarcasm]" there.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

Silent Generators and Turrets
Have you built your own settlement, but generators and turrets make it difficult to sleep? Then the Silent Generators and Turrets mod will help you, which allows you to make all automatic buildings quieter, or turn off their sound altogether - enough to endure it.

The radio in Fallout 4 turned out to be better than what was in New Vegas, but worse than the third part. This can be improved with a mod that adds 74 good songs in the style of the 50s-60s on Diamond City radio.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\.

Clean Power Armor HUD
Many people find the Power Armor interface in Fallout 4 a bit ugly. The Clean Power Armor HUD mod removes unnecessary elements from the armor UI and makes it more minimalistic and pleasant.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

Construction

Settlements Expanded
A very useful mod called Settlements Expanded removes all building restrictions. Want to build anywhere and any way? This modification is definitely for you. It also adds new objects that can be used during construction.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\.

Homemaker - Expanded Settlements
The mod simply adds more in-game building items. For example, you can install several types of beds, plant more plants, enclose the settlement with other fences. One of the main innovations of the mod is more than 30 different lighting objects.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout4\Data\.

spring cleaning
In Fallout 4, you can build interesting and original buildings, but it is impossible to fully clear the entire territory - various hillocks will still remain, and grass texture can peek out from under the floor of a brand new house. The Spring Cleaning mod allows you to really create a clean slate for experiments - remove all grass, mounds of dirt, various small debris, even some paths and foundations for buildings can also be erased. The mod is recommended for perfectionists.

Craftable Guns and Weapons
Want to make a weapon out of nothing without buying it or knocking it out of enemies? The Craftable Guns and Weapons mod will help you create a "Fat Man" or a bat from improvised materials - you just need to collect everything that comes to hand.

funny

PEW Lasers
This is one of the best, in my opinion, mods for Fallout 4 - it replaces all the standard sounds of energy weapon shots with "PEW, PEW". Those who are fond of modifying other games may have heard of similar mods for many shooters. Just watch the video to appreciate the quality of this mod:

The PEW Lasers mod is best installed using the NexusMods Manager utility.

Cat Nuke
One of the main innovations of Fallout 4 is the appearance of cats in places populated by people. However, cats cannot be interacted with in any way. The Cat Nuke mod corrects this oversight - now the Fat Man can be charged with cats. What could be better than running cats into raiders? By the way, you may also like the similar Atom Bomb Baby mod, which allows you to launch the babies from Fat Man. Well, if you really do not like children at all.

Immersive Facial Animations
If you are very fed up with Fallout 4, then you can safely install the Immersive Facial Animations mod, which makes the facial animations of all characters “more expressive”. Simply put, the modification simply makes faces as possible. Some of the characters that initially seemed boring to you will now be more fun and funny.
And Darth Vader's helmet
Are you a fan of the Star Wars universe, but also love Fallout 4? So you should definitely try two modifications that add lightsabers as melee weapons to the latest part of Fallout, as well as the helmet of the famous villain Darth Vader as head armor.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout 4\. To get items, you need to enter certain commands in the console:
  • player.additem xx000816 - pink sword;
  • player.additem xx000819 - red sword;
  • player.additem xx00081a - green sword;
  • player.additem xx00081b - blue sword;
  • player.additem xx077803 - Darth Vader helmet.

New Year's

Winter Wonderland
Have you already prepared for the New Year? If you play Fallout 4, then a couple of Christmas-themed mods will definitely not hurt. One of the main modifications in this regard is Winter Wonderland. The modification simply changes the standard textures to more snowy ones. As a result, winter sets in on the Boston wasteland. At the same time, the snow textures do not look like stretched - they fit the environment quite organically.

Installation: unzip mod files to \Fallout 4\Data\.

The Christmas Sweater
What is the new year without a winter sweater with reindeer? For Fallout 4 they made such a mod. It replaces the texture of a standard pre-war sweater with a more New Year's and cozy one. The Christmas Sweater goes well with the following mod in the collection: you can dress all the inhabitants of the settlement in sweaters with deer and collect them in one room with a Christmas tree.

Installation is similar to other modifications.

Xmas Trees in Settlement Builder
This great mod adds two types of Christmas trees (with toys and candles) that you can place in your settlement. The Christmas atmosphere in Fallout 4 would be incomplete without this mod.

Utilities

- Fallout 4 Script Extender(F4SE)

Many mods require F4SE to work.

Description:

The main concept of creating the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) is an extension of the scripting functionality for the Fallout 4 game and for the future Creation Kit editor. At the moment, F4SE has very little functionality, but some of these features may already be useful.

Vortex is a new modern mod manager from Nexus Mods. It is designed to make modding your game as easy as possible for new users while still providing enough control for the more seasoned veterans of the modding scene.

How to install, configure and start using Vortex "ohm, you can see in my guide to Vortex:

- Nexus Mod Manager(NMM)

Description:

This program is a very simple modification manager, however, it has decent functionality at the moment.
With it, you can manage esp files, as well as install resource modifications, for example, retextures, audio - or any other.

Capabilities:

  • Usage:

Using the "install" button, select the esp or archive with the modification, then follow the program's suggestions. Mods can be not only installed, but also removed, which, given the number of new mods for Fallout 4, is a very necessary feature.

  • Functions

When you close the mod manager or start the game through it, it sets the plugings.txt and DLCList.txt files to read-only.

  • Mod Solver

Select the files in this window (you can drag and drop), make sure the structure is correct, and then install.
In your Fallout 4 Data folder there will be a folder called "Mods" which will contain some txt files. Do not delete it, it is needed for the program to work.

  • Installing mods

When you click "install" you can add a zip or 7z file.
It should be able to add other archives as 7z is used for decompression.

Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 to work

Description:

"Another Life" allows you to avoid the fixed start of the game and choose a different role for yourself, which allows you to better immerse yourself in the game and enjoy playing your chosen role.

The pre-war period is just a simulation of the memory in your head when your synthetic body is created. After exiting the shower, the game will ask you if you want to wake up or continue sleeping. The "wake up" option will start the modification, and continue will start the game as usual.

After you wake up, you will find yourself in one of the Synth Institute's cells. In the same place you will find a pip-boy and a terminal that controls the processing parameters of the unit. In it you will be able to choose your occupation.

As soon as you enter the processing chamber, you will be transported to the Commonwealth, of course, without the knowledge that you have ever been to the Institute.

Vault 111 will be available as usual, and your starting quest will be the Jewel of the Commonwealth.

Peculiarities:

"Another Life" allows you to play one of 36 lives. Each activity determines your starting equipment and weapons, the allied faction (or lack of allies), your starting ability, and the starting location. In the future, the choice of occupation will also determine the initial quest.

Description:

Camping is obviously one of the mods that everyone wants to have in their Bethesda games from day one.

This mod adds craftable/installable tents and sleeping bags (new high definition models and textures in several color options, including camo), fabric wall hedges, a campfire, a flashlight and a bowler hat, each item with its own unique dynamic gameplay, sounds, interactivity and animation.

Everything is simple and comfortable enough to feel like a real explorer of the wasteland.

New items:

  • A new category "TOURIST EQUIPMENT" will appear on the Chemical Workbench. If you use the "Armor and Weapon Crafting Keywords (AWKCR)" mod, then all items from the mod will be in a different category on the "Armorer's Workbench".
  • Traveler's Book: In order to unlock all color variations of tents and cloth flaps, the book can be found in the cellar in Sanctuary.
  • Color options: gaming / white, black, blue, woodland camo, desert, gray, green, red, and two more additional colors for sleeping bags: Nuka Cola (red) and Vault-Tek / Vault-Boy (Blue)
  • Homemade tent: a tarpaulin is thrown over the branches, there is a sleeping bag inside the tent, a lantern can be installed.
  • Tent with poles (single): new tent models, one sleeping bag. Lantern can be installed. 7 tent color options.
  • Pole tent (double): Same as single but with two sleeping bags so you can sleep with companions/NPCs. Lantern can be installed. 7 tent color options.
  • Sleeping bag: old, reliable, tried and tested sleeping bag. Available in 10 color options.
  • Dog Bed: New bedding with unused sleeping dog animation (and new snoring sounds!). The dog will sleep until you wake him up! 7 color options of a couch.
  • Cloth flap: fabric stretched between two poles, can be used for additional protection against wind, for example. 7 color options.
  • Campfire Kit: Wood, oil, cloth combined in one kit to build a fire and keep the fire burning.
  • Saucepan: Attaches to a campfire to cook food in the wild. Requires a lit fire.
  • Flashlight: portable lighting on the go! Attaches to a tent or can be placed on the ground and won't fall off.
  • GPS Beacon: A beacon can be left at the camp, which will place a marker on the Pip-Boy map so you can use it as a base. Can be used anywhere.
  • All items from the mod have Workshop equivalents, so you can craft all items in your localities. Tents/Sleeping bags under Furniture > Beds. Dog Bed, Cloth Flap can be found under Decoration > Miscellaneous. The campfire and lanterns are located in the Electricity>Lighting section. Tents count as single or double beds in your settlement, and campfires created in settlements will burn forever.

Description:

Does it ever seem strange to you that 100% of the time your character is pointing his weapon at an invisible enemy somewhere in front of you? It seemed to the author of this modification, therefore, he made it so that your hero, if he does not shoot, removes the weapon to the side.

At the moment, this is a simple animation modification and there is no delay in putting weapons to the side, for example, after a battle. The author will try to do his best to implement it. However, it is fully functional and can be used now.

Grip of weapons in power armor is also supported. For more information on how it looks, see the video and screenshots. In my opinion, a must have for the best immersion in the game.

Description:

Mod Configuration Menu (MSM)- this is a functionality that adds to the game menu Fallout 4 new category "Mod Settings".

Mod settings will be stored in INI files along the path Data\MCM\Settings, which makes it easy to back up and restore settings, and even change them outside of the game if needed, if the mod supports that option.

IMPORTANT:

  • Mod Configuration Menu (MSM) this is the core that is required for mods that have settings to work, without the possibility of introducing into Pip-Boy through holodisks, like other mods, and such settings will be through MSM menu.
  • Please note that without such mods, in Mod Configuration Menu (MSM) will be empty!
Peculiarities:
  • Customize more aspects of your mods than ever before - MCM provides a lot of functionality, such as mod functionality toggle options, steppers, dropdown menus, sliders, buttons, feature description text, and keywords.
  • MSM is optimized for PC. MCM goes way beyond what's allowed for consoles.
  • MSM does not have ESM/ESP files. MCM does not count in mod load order as a mod.
  • Safe storage. MCM will never encroach on your saves and saved game - any modifications, like most plugins F4SE are executed in memory.
  • file-save. No game forms or files on the disc are replaced. MCM is completely autonomous.
  • Hotkey support and conflict detection. Assign hotkeys to mod actions to activate them on the fly.
Requirements:
  • Fallout 4 version 1.10.20 or 1.9.4 .
  • Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) 0.4.2 or 0.5.0 and higher.

Description:

HUDFramework - This is a very useful UI framework that will allow you to install various modifications that change / complement the game interface.

With it, for example, you can display:

  • Your Companion's Health
  • current time
  • Number of cartridges in the clip
  • Change crosshair
  • And many many others
Important! By itself, the mod does not add anything, it is only the basis for installing other modifications that change the interface using the HUDFramework.

Requirements:

  • Fallout 4
  • Java 8 and higher (for "HUDFramework auto-patcher" patcher).

Description:

The developers from NVIDIA created a mod for Fallout 4 called "Vault 1080", which will add a new Vault 1080 to the game, with its own quest, and also added super-improved lighting and shadows using Next-Gen GameWorks technology.

More:

  • Vault 1080 is an official mod from NVIDIA.
  • The volumetric lighting features in the mod are wide and varied and you have not seen such effects in the standard game, and the shadows will be more realistic than ever. It's all thanks to the HBAO+ functionality and ambient occlusion control, which create authentic effects anywhere.
  • You'll also see beautiful "godrays" effects whenever the sun shines, plus new weapon shard effects and new meshes and materials.
  • Once you find the entrance to Vault 1080, dark, intimidating tunnels await you, which are inevitably filled with danger. This is a big mod - equal in size to other Vaults scattered throughout the Commonwealth, with its own new quest. And this is a Vault like you've never seen before. The truth lies deep within Vault 1080. Find and solve all the mysteries!
  • It is not worth it to meddle in this location unprepared!
Peculiarities:
  • New quest
  • 4 new locations (swamps, church, caves, shelter)
  • Extra hour of gameplay
How to start:
  1. After installing the mod and entering the game, a notification will appear, check the tracking of the quest "Church of the Valley"
  2. A marker on the map will direct you to a small hut outside the swamp.
Location:
  • The location of Vault 1080 is located near Vault 111, from which you exit at the beginning of the game.

Build a new settlement almost anywhere in the Commonwealth!

Description:

This mod "Conquest of the lands - camping and building settlements" from the author of the well-known mod Frostfall for Skyrim.

The mod will add a variety of camping equipment and the ability to create completely new settlements anywhere in the Commonwealth, the mod will go well with the regular game mode, as well as with the new Survival mode.

More:

  • You can build a small camp anywhere in the game, cook food, sleep, and so on. Then you can just pack up and leave, or leave your mark, expanding your camp into a thriving, full-fledged settlement.
  • You can create camping equipment using items in the game world that are around you. Build tents, portable generator and more.
  • All camping equipment is placed through the Workshop menu, for convenient placement, you can turn, twist as you like, not like in another similar fashion.
  • By investing in a new workbench, your small camp can become a full-fledged settlement, with all the advantages and disadvantages that regular playable settlements have, you can establish supply lines, bring in NPCs and companions, and so on.
  • You can build up to 10 new settlements.
  • You can collect your camps and move them to other places, you can also eliminate full-fledged settlements that have already been built.
How to use:

1.Camping

  • Open your Pip-Boy, go to the Help section, and select "Action: Build Camp". Exit the Pip-Boy and place the Food Camp on the ground. Once you've set up camp, you can place other camping equipment using the dedicated menu in the Workshop.
  • In the camp, you can build a campfire, set up a cooking cauldron, break weapons and armor, build a tent, install a portable generator and lighting, sleep in a sleeping bag, and much more.
  • Tip: You can only set up camp when far enough away from cities and other settlements.
2. Construction of settlements
  • Once you've successfully created a camp, from the camp's Workshop menu, go to Extensions > Workshop. Place the Workshop where you like. Once you do this, your camp will be assembled and returned to inventory and your settlement will be created.
  • You can name your settlement with one of 10 different names, and you can create up to 10 different settlements.
3.Liquidation of settlements
  • If you don't like a settlement you've created, you can liquidate it to free up one of the 10 available settlements. To do this, select the Workshop and select Eliminate the settlement. Read the warning and confirm your choice. The settlement will be demolished.

Description:

Are you tired of monotonous settlers? You are not the only one! The author was also tired of this, so he decided to create a modification that would bring some variety to this aspect of the game.

In addition, the author wanted to give them better initial equipment so that they do not have to waste time on its full improvement. This mod makes the settlers cooler, they also have a wider choice of clothing (31 clothing options, 25 hats, goggles, bandanas and 4 sets of armor), better starting weapons and a chance to carry stimulants.

For reasons unknown to me, the mod also washes them and makes their faces cleaner! There are also equipment classes in the mod, which gives the settlers a chance to get a much better set of equipment. All clothing combinations in the screenshots are randomly generated at spawn.

Known issue - minor cosmetic bug - do not install before reading. When you install the mod and load the game, it will give some of your settlers new gear. This can sometimes create conflict with their equipment.

This can give rise to very strange combinations. This is just a cosmetic bug - you can always dress up your settlers.

Detailed description:

The mod only affects REGULAR SETTLERS. Companions, children and settlers with names are not affected.

The details of the changes are below, but you will most likely find it easier to see everything in the screenshots.

Changes affecting all regular settlers.

They've been given the ability "Zippy 3" and "Adamant Skeleton 3" so they can't be crippled and heal between battles.
Slightly stronger - about 3 times more health (at the level of a psycho raider).
Everyone has a chance to have 0-2 stims.
Everyone has a chance to be equipped with one of the following gear sets (all weapons and armor have a chance to be modded):

  • Class I

Approximately 23 types of clothes more (total 31) - see the screenshots.

Approximately 17 types of hats more (25 in total) (25% get a hat) - see the screenshots.

No extra armor (other than what they can get in the original - Spiked Armor, Fighter Armor, Rogue Suit

One of the following weapons: .39 smoothbore, .45 smoothbore revolver, pry bar, lead riser, or machete (firearms are much more likely)

  • Class II

Metal armor parts + leather armor + civilian clothing can drop. Usually drops at least 2 pieces of leather armor.

One of the following weapons: double-barreled shotgun, 10mm pistol, revolutionary blade, baseball bat or hammer (firearms are much more likely)

  • Class III

Can drop a set of leather armor + military clothes + random light military headwear + chance for points (4 options)

Weapon: Hunting rifle or submachine gun

  • Class IV

Full set of metal armor + military clothes + random military headgear + chance for points + "nice guy" bandana (4 options)

  • Full set of metal armor + military clothes + random heavy military headgear + chance for points + "nice guy" bandana (4 options)

    Weapon: hunting rifle only

The spawn rates are roughly the following: 55% Class I, 15% Class II, 15% Class III, 10% Class IV, 5% Class V I will learn to rename them in accordance with the new classes)

Compatibility:

RHD (Robot Settlement Defense) is incompatible with any other categories that add new items to the "Protection" category in the workshop (eg guard posts, turrets or traps). It is also incompatible with other mods that edit the Robotics Expert ability - you will no longer be able to take them with you.

It is compatible with Homemaker, SSEx and Robot Guardians. If you find an incompatibility and create a patch, I will add it to the mod page. I don't make compatibility patches for mods I don't use.

In certain cases, mods that add categories to the workshop run into problems even if they don't edit the same category. To avoid this, try putting this mod higher (or lower) in the load list. At the moment, this cannot be fixed.

Frequently asked Questions:

Do robots count towards the settler limit?
  • No. Create as much as you want!
Is it RobCo Certified?
  • No, RobCo Certified won't arrive until GECK is released.
  • You are sure?
  • Not:)
Can you make Mr. Helpers act like settlers/robots - move around the settlements?
  • No, the menu is not designed to allow buildings to move. I am trying to find a workaround - if you have experience with Pex Upgrader please email me.
Can you add Robo-Eyes/Synths?
  • No, the eyeball radio requires scripting, which is not yet available, and I would like to add synths as settlers - see above.
Can I fix robots if they are destroyed?
  • No, not until I can add a fix. Robots have a lot of advantages over turrets, so consider this as a small minus.

Best Standard Fallout New Vegas Mods

Mods can seriously expand the possibilities of the game, while not affecting the main storyline. They will easily add variety without affecting the main world and quests.

To graphics

EssentialVisualEnhancements. Alteration of graphics specifically in battles. Designed to bring out the beauty of combat: explosions, gunshots, weapon effects on enemies and allies, and more. Turns even an ordinary battle with raiders into a full-fledged action movie. Looks just great.

NevadaSkies. Dozens of new weather conditions to increase variety. There is everything - from sandstorms and radioactive rain to snow and heat. The mod is able to greatly dilute the standard locations - under different weather conditions, they will look completely different.

NMCstexturepack. Full update of all textures in the Mojave Wasteland (from the main game, does not apply to DLC). Revitalizes graphics, makes it many times more detailed and bright. The difference is simply stunning.

For armor

TGArmors. A large pack of armor and clothes for all occasions. Several collections of military equipment of the leading armies. Ideal for those who love military kits. The effectiveness of the equipment is high - you can safely wear it and not be afraid. Any player will choose a model for himself.

CasinoHeistpack. Reminds me of the clothes and armor from Pay Day. A small mod that adds some costumes, masks and some guns. Stylishly fits into the world of Fallout New Vegas, taking into account several casinos and the corresponding storyline.

TheBLACKJACKpack. Exactly 45 new costumes and equipment of various types and purposes. Especially for those who prefer variety in clothes. Items are distributed to the characters on the map, so you have to run around to find them all. But it's worth it - you can find everything here, from new types of Vault armor to the armor of the Son of Mars in the style of the Legion.

For weapons

Weapon Mods Expanded. Dozens of new weapon mods in the Mojave Wastes. Allows you to not only create a truly unique and powerful barrel with a couple of improvements. The mod expands the possibilities of weapon development - now you can add a lot more modifications. An important feature - almost every mod will change the appearance of weapons. And then additionsModdableUniqueweapons even unique weapons can be modified.

bf4Assaultpack. Especially for fans of Battlefield 4, a modification has been created that adds more than 40 new guns and knives. Variants with different improvements, features and appearance are available.

weaponsoftheNewMillennia. A huge pack of weapons from a third-party developer that can completely change the idea of \u200b\u200bguns in Fallout New Vegas. Guns are not easy to find and use. They are sold by merchants, they are used by rivals on the map, they lie in containers and are waiting for the owner. In addition, new weapons can be modified and improved.

Other Fallout New Vegas Mods

NewVegasAntiCrash. Definitely needed! As you know, Fallout New Vegas is an extremely buggy game. This mod stabilizes the engine and significantly reduces the number of crashes and glitches.

More Perks. Over 70 new abilities to play. Lots of references to famous universes, unique effects on the character and a lot of other interesting features! Worth a try.

MonsterMod. Adds over 150 new aggressive creatures ranging from weak to deadly. Now the Wasteland looks more lively and corresponds to the situation of the Post-apocalypse. In addition, now monsters will appear much more often. So you definitely won't be bored.

More Follower For New Vegas. Walking with one partner and a dog is boring. Why not take several at once? After all, it's more fun together! Create a squad to clear the Mojave Wasteland and destroy anyone who gets in your way. You can take all your companions with you at once. And even additional, from other modifications! It's a whole army.

Global mods for Fallout New Vegas

Tired of the standard game? Do you want something new and unusual? Then global mods are what will help. They drastically affect the game and seriously change the gameplay and balance, so you have to get used to the innovations.

projectNevada. Completely changes the balance in the game, making it more difficult and interesting. Consists of many blocks that are responsible for different functions:

  1. Handling weapons and combat (mandatory). Includes features of development, modification of objects. You can even set the view mode!
  2. Rebalance. Numerous gameplay changes, from slowing down levels to reworking S.P.E.C.I.A.L. You can set up a truly hardcore game.
  3. Equipment. Adds a bunch of new equipment and weapons. The kit includes the best modifications from popular developers.
  4. Implants. Many implants are added with different characteristics for body parts (arms, legs, head, torso). There are even new abilities to use them.

In this case, the blocks do not have to be included all at the same time. Only the first is required - the rest can be activated in Fallout New Vegas only if desired.

WorldofPain. A small mod that uses game resources. But how does he do it! Added a lot of new locations with a chic elaboration. These are not just regular points on the map - these are full-fledged worlds.

  • new interesting quests;
  • many unusual merchants;
  • hundreds of dangerous enemies;
  • curious NPCs with whom it is interesting to talk;
  • whole range of locations.

It weighs a little, because it takes everything you need from the files of Fallout New Vegas itself.

FortheEnclave. The remnants of the Enclave, not finished off in the previous parts of the game, come to the Mojave Wasteland. But these are not just regular targets. The faction is available to the player in the same way as all others. It can seriously diversify the gameplay. What can the Enclave offer to the Courier?

  • a new five-part story quest;
  • four secondary missions;
  • original partner;
  • new interior solutions;
  • a full-fledged world of technologies in the Wasteland and a radio station for it;
  • several random encounters with variable endings.

A new faction is another reason to replay Fallout New Vegas. Perhaps you would like to become a full member of the Enclave or even lead it? Or finish what the Chosen One started 38 years ago and continued by the Lone Wanderer four years ago - to destroy the Enclave to the end? It's up to you to decide.

When announced Fallout 4, everyone was just in shock. Some are happy to see a new part of their favorite series, and some believe that something else will turn out to be lewd. We cannot guess, because everything is still ahead. In the meantime, we will recall some modifications for Fallout: New Vegas, in order to refresh your memory of what exactly you should install on your computer before waiting for the new part of Fallach, drooling over your favorite T-shirt.

Project Nevada

This mod truly changes the game, giving it a massive rebalance, adding new features and more. It is possible to select only certain modules, without forcing the player to endure those parts of the modification that are frankly uninteresting to him. You can configure the modules directly in the settings, and the settings, in turn, are very responsive. What modules will visit you if you install this mod?

For example, the Cyberware module will add implants for various body parts to the game, which can increase your performance and give you some additional features. The Rebalance module will greatly improve a huge number of details of the game, balancing it to the point of impossibility. The Equipment module, oddly enough, will add a bunch of new weapons and armor. And it will all be yours once you download the mod.

World of Pain

Adds a lot of well-developed locations to the game that will delight you with new NPCs, enemies, as well as things that can be obtained while traveling through these wastelands. The modification uses only the resources of the game, and therefore the mod weighs terribly little. The complex of Dungeon locations will please you with new quests and merchants, with whom you can always talk about the complexities of life in the Wasteland.

This mod is compatible with the first one on our list, as well as many others that you can read about below. The mod is still supported, and the authors have many plans for their offspring in the distant future. Be sure to try it and share with others how good the mod turned out to be. Also, be sure to download patches with it that allow you to remove all incompatibility errors.

More Perks

Do you like perks in Fallout? Until now, in all sorts of publics, pictures with non-existent perks sometimes fly by, which contain some kind of subtle or not very hint. Everyone liked and likes perks, but what if you want even more of them? Install the More Perks mod, because it adds 75 absolutely new abilities to the game! Huge number to say the least.

What about the “Glow and Smile” perk, which will allow you to be much more eloquent during the daytime? And there is also the “Cockroach Lover” perk, which will make radroaches appear under your feet every day. "Run like the wind!" will speed up your run, and "Blind Luck" will allow you to be much luckier. It's impossible not to try it all, especially with a mod that will increase your level cap from 30 to 100.

Weapon Mods Expanded

Weapon modifications are also one of Fallach's pass cards, but there are not so many of them either. And you can increase their number with the help of the Weapon Mods Expanded mod, which will add over 80 types of modifications to the game for both firearms and melee weapons. And in most cases, the appearance of the weapon will be changed! And that's always good.

Weapon modifications can be found at various vendors, and if you don't figure out where exactly it goes, a couple of notes will appear in your inventory along with it, describing the exact purpose of the improvement. Notes are sorted into two different types for convenience. The mod is also sometimes updated, as it has achieved recognition from the players and has not been abandoned by the creators.

Essential Visual Enhancements

And this mod recycles all the visual effects of the game, making them juicier, brighter and more beautiful in the truest sense of the word. Everything is done at the highest level, because the mod has been developed for more than one year. The effects of not only energy weapons, but everything in general, have been reworked. The impact on the characters has also changed!

Also, mod developers are fond of processing models of some weapons and armor, physics, for example, flying pieces of enemies, and much more. And in their free time from development, they created and finally released the game War for the Overworld, which you can buy on Steam or, of course, download on torrents.

Willow

Willow is one of the best companions for Fallout: NV which you can only find. She carries 1200 voiced dialogues with her, and additional voiceovers have been made not only for her, but also for other characters associated with her quest. She has a story that she will gradually tell. Her main skills are Speech, Survival and Barter, and she is also very fond of firearms.

And Iva is very beautiful. And shouldn't that be included in a good companion? And she knows how to cook well and will definitely feed you with her cooking. Well, if you are a very big pervert, then you can arrange an affair with her and have “dark” sex with her. And she can also put on glasses, put a cigarette in her teeth and be very cool. Great skill!

monster mod

What do you think of the mod that adds new hostile creatures to the game? If you like this alignment, then be sure to download Monster Mod for yourself. In total, there are more than 150 monsters that diversify the Fallout world terribly and make it more alive. But if you are not ready, then this living world will make you dead. Be careful!

Monsters, by the way, began to spawn much more often, which did its job in revitalizing the world. And the minus of the mod is that, unlike other mods, it has long been forgotten, but it is still quite large, and you can’t blame the developers for not doing it anymore.
