Bronchomunal for children instructions for use: a detailed treatment regimen. Broncho-munal P for children: instructions for use Funny poems about the letter P for children

If a child often has rhinitis, bronchitis, or other diseases of the respiratory system, the doctor may recommend strengthening the body's defenses with a medicine called Broncho-munal P. It differs from the usual "Broncho-munal" in a halved dosage of active substances, therefore it can be prescribed in childhood even to infants. But before starting treatment with such a remedy, parents should learn more about its effect on the body and other nuances of use.

Features of the release form and composition

The drug is produced by the well-known company Sandoz only in capsules packed in blisters of 10 pieces. One package includes 1 or 3 of these blisters, and the capsules themselves have an opaque gelatin shell and size 3. The body of the capsules is white, the cap is blue, and there is a beige powder inside.

The main ingredient of this powder is lysates of microorganisms, presented in a dosage of 3.5 mg per capsule. As part of "Broncho-munal P" there are such destroyed bacteria:

  • hemophilic rods;
  • streptococci viridans;
  • pneumococci;
  • streptococci pyogenic;
  • staphylococcus aureus;
  • Klebsiella ozena and pneumonia;
  • moraxella catharalis.

To them are added such inactive substances as monosodium glutamate, starch and propyl gallate, as well as mannitol and magnesium stearate. The capsule shell is made from titanium dioxide, indigotine and gelatin.

How does it work?

The drug is classified as an immunostimulant, because under its influence the work of the patient's immune system is activated. Once in the body, lysates penetrate the mucous membrane and affect B-lymphocytes. After an increase in their number in the blood, the production of antibodies increases, and immunoglobulins are synthesized more actively. Lysates also affect immunity, called nonspecific. The result of the application of "Broncho-munal P" will be:

  • reduction in the frequency of SARS;
  • shortening the duration of infection of the respiratory system;
  • reducing the risk of exacerbations in chronic bronchial pathologies;
  • increased resistance of the respiratory tract to infectious agents;
  • reducing the need for antibiotics and other drugs.

Indications

Since the components of "Broncho-munal P" are the causative agents of respiratory infections, the effect of the drug mainly concerns the pathologies of the respiratory system. Capsules are included in the treatment of bronchitis, sinusitis, adenoiditis, rhinitis and other diseases. They are also often advised to be taken for prevention, for example, in children with chronic recurrent bronchial infections.

At what age are they prescribed?

"Broncho-munal P" is intended for use in childhood, so you can see the mark "for children" on the box of capsules. The dosage of such capsules is suitable for small patients over 6 months to twelve years of age.

Adolescents over 12 years of age are prescribed a drug without the letter "P" in the name, containing 7 mg of lysates in one capsule.

Contraindications

The medicine is not used if the child has intolerance to any of the components of the capsules. Broncho-munal P has no other contraindications, except for early age and hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Usually, Broncho-munal P is tolerated without any negative symptoms, however, in some small patients, diarrhea or abdominal discomfort may occur after taking the capsules. Sometimes the medication causes nausea, an allergic rash, headache, or cough.

In some cases, the drug causes shortness of breath, vomiting, fever, Quincke's edema, redness of the skin and other symptoms.

If the child has such ailments, you should immediately show the baby to the doctor.

Instructions for use

The capsule is recommended to be given to the child in the morning half an hour before breakfast (the remedy works better when used on an empty stomach). The standard dosage for both prevention and treatment is one capsule. If the baby still does not know how to swallow solid forms of drugs, then the gelatin shell is opened, after which the powder is mixed with juice, milk or tea. The liquid is taken in a small volume so that the baby immediately swallows it.

If "Broncho-munal P" is prescribed for prophylactic purposes, then the remedy is given in three courses, each of which lasts 10 days. Pauses of 20 days should be maintained between courses. If the medicine was included in the complex for the treatment of acute bronchitis or another infection, then it is given until a complete cure, but not less than ten days.

Every mother wants her child to grow up healthy. Not only sports, hardening and a well-balanced diet, but also modern pharmaceutical preparations can help strengthen immunity.

Children's Bronchomunal increases the body's defenses and is used for the prevention and complex treatment of bacterial pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia in children. It prevents the development of infection and greatly alleviates the condition with an already developed disease. How does Bronchomunal work, and how is it used to treat children aged six months to 12 years? Details in our review.

Bronchomunal eliminates the pathological imbalance in the immune system.

Indications and mechanism of action

Bronchomunal for children is prescribed for:

  • prevention of ARI - acute respiratory infection;
  • complex treatment of colds and infectious diseases of the respiratory tract.

Bronchomunal is immunostimulating agent. It consists of a powder of killed and dried bacteria that cause respiratory infections in children:

  • hemophilic bacillus;
  • pneumococcus;
  • green streptococcus;
  • beta-hemolytic streptococcus - the main cause of angina;
  • Frindler sticks;
  • klebsiella ozena;
  • Staphylococcus aureus;
  • Moraxella species catarrhalis.

At first glance, the idea of taking microbes to boost immunity seems strange, but it works. The mechanism of action of the drug is similar to a vaccine: killed, and therefore non-dangerous bacteria that have their own genetic information enter the body. In response to their penetration, antibodies are actively produced - specific immune defense proteins that react only to a specific pathogen. If during this period the baby becomes infected with one of the infections, the immune system will be ready to meet it fully armed, antibodies will quickly destroy the bacteria, and the disease will not develop or will pass much easier.

Release form: what is the difference between a children's Bronchomunal and an adult

The drug is produced by the Slovenian pharmaceutical company Lek. It is a lyophilisate (powder) of light beige color, placed in a hard gelatin capsule.

There are two dosage forms of the drug:

  1. Children's room - Bronchomunal P.
  2. Adult - Bronchomunal.

Children over 12 years of age are prescribed Bronchomunal at a dose of 7 mg.

Their composition is identical, but the capsule of an adult Bronchomunal (blue) contains 7 mg of active substance, and the capsule of a child (white-blue) contains half as much - 3.5 mg. Although the instructions for use of the drug () prohibit the use of adult medicine for children under 12 years of age, according to reviews, many parents give it to babies by opening the capsule and carefully dividing the powder into two parts. However, doctors warn: such experiments are fraught with an overdose and the development of side effects.

A bright blue cardboard box with children's Bronchomunal P contains one or three blisters of 10 capsules each and instructions for use. In pharmacies, the price for a pack of 10 capsules is on average 470 rubles, for 30 capsules - 1180 rubles.

White-blue capsules will help you not get sick during the cold season.

Mode of application

Greetings, dear readers! Today we will look at the drug vaccine against respiratory infections. This is a familiar Bronchomunal for children, instructions for use, how to drink, how many days, at what time of the year and from what age we will find out today.

Immune stimulating drugs have taken a stable position in our medicine cabinet. In order to avoid catching seasonal infections, many of us are seriously engaged in strengthening the immune system.

Bronchomunal P is a drug based on bacterial lysate. Lysate is a product of the breakdown of bacterial cells. Thus, when taking a medicine, weakened pathogenic microorganisms enter the body, i.e. the effect of the drug is similar to the effect of vaccinations.

In simple terms, it is as if you are vaccinating yourself or a child by ingesting capsules with weakened forms of bacteria.

Broncho-munal contains several types of bacteria, in particular Klebsiella, staphylococcus, streptococcus and others. These are the types of bacteria that most commonly cause respiratory tract infections. Inactivated microorganisms can no longer cause disease, but are able to generate an immune response of the body.

The composition of the drug includes not only the active substance, but also additional components necessary to preserve the lysate and give the drug the desired consistency. Among them, monosodium glutamate, corn starch and others.

The release form of the drug is capsules with a white-blue shell. They contain a white-yellow powder. The box contains 1 or 3 blisters, each of which contains 10 capsules. The price for 10 capsules is about 500 rubles.

What is the difference between an adult and a children's drug?

Dosages for children in Bronchomunal P are much less than for adults, and are 3.5 mg, and in an adult preparation 7 mg of the active substance. Therefore, it is advisable to select the drug after consulting a doctor. If babies are not yet able to swallow the capsule whole, the powder can be removed and dissolved in water or juice.

In this regard, parents often have the question of how a children's drug differs from an adult. The answer is clear: dosage (Bronchomunal for adults from 12 years old - 7 mg, Bronchomunal P for children - 3.5 mg).

Doctors warn: it is impossible to use adult medicine for the treatment of babies. Even if you just need to remove the powder from the capsule to give the baby, you need to know exactly how much medicine to offer the baby.

Attempts to independently divide the adult dose into several parts may result in the ineffectiveness of the drug or, conversely, an overdose.

Indications

To understand in which diseases Bronchomunal can be used, it is necessary to understand its mechanism of action.

How does the medicine work?

The effect of the drug is manifested in the strengthening of local immunity. Lysate, entering the body, accumulates in lymphoid cells located in the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract. The impact on the immune system occurs in two ways: at the cellular level and through body fluids (blood, saliva).

Entry into the digestive tract of weakened microorganisms provokes the production of T-lymphocytes, designed to destroy diseased body cells. In the gastrointestinal tract, in particular in Peyer's patches, and in the secret of the respiratory tract, immunoglobulin is secreted.

Thus, Bronchomunal activates the immune system, therefore, when meeting with a real pathogen, the body already knows how to deal with it, and gives a decent immune response.

Studies of the drug have shown that it has the following properties:

  • stimulates the production of cytokines in alveolar macrophages to protect against infection;
  • increases the number of T-lymphocytes;
  • increases the concentration of immunoglobulin;
  • activates mononuclear cells that protect against infection;
  • reduces the concentration of immunoglobulin E in the blood plasma, thereby reducing the sensitivity of the body;
  • activates the production of adhesive molecules.

Due to the peculiarities of its action, Broncho-munal helps to cope with a group of diseases.

When to apply?

Bronchomunal P is intended for use in children aged six months to 12 years. A medicine is prescribed for the treatment of the respiratory tract in infectious processes, as well as for the treatment of otitis media and sinusitis.

With the help of the drug, both treatment and prevention of diseases are possible. However, it must be remembered that in an acute process, the medication cannot serve as an independent remedy for eliminating the cause of the pathology, but is only an auxiliary immunomodulator.

When taking, consider contraindications:

  • sensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • up to six months of age.

The drug is usually well tolerated. However, side effects can sometimes occur, the most common of which are gastrointestinal upset, allergies in the form of a skin rash and impaired functioning of the respiratory system, cough. Infrequently, headache, shortness of breath, fever may occur.

An overdose of the drug, as studies show, is hardly possible. Bronchomunal P goes well with antibiotics and other drugs.

Scheme of treatment and prevention of Broncho-munal P

So, now the most important thing is how to use the drug correctly for children?

If the child is already sick?

In this case, the drug is used as an additional medicine to the main therapy. The treatment regimen for ARVI will be as follows: on the first day of illness, you need to take 1 capsule half an hour before meals. The course of treatment is 10 days.

Then a 20 day break and then you can continue taking the drug for another 10 days for prevention. Then again a break of 20 days and another course of 10 days as a preventive measure. That is, you get three courses, three months.

After treatment, prophylaxis can be omitted, but this way you will definitely be protected from these types of bacteria.

It is also very important that if the child was vaccinated with any live vaccine, Bronchomunal P can be used only after a month.

Disease prevention

Prevention consists of three courses of 10 days. That is, for 10 days the child takes the drug (1 capsule in the morning half an hour before meals), then there is a break of 20 days, and then the course is repeated again. And so three times. The next course of prevention will be available only in six months. But as a rule it is not necessary.

Now I'll show you what it actually looks like.

  • For example, a child started taking Bronchomunal P on September 1st. From September 1 to September 10 you are taking the drug;
  • Then there is a break of 20 days. September 11 to September 30;
  • On October 1, you start the second course of the drug and take it for 10 days until October 10;
  • Break again 20 days until October 30;
  • The third course starts October 31st until November 9th.
  • This is where the treatment ends.

Life hacks when using Bronchomunal

  • For convenience, I set myself a reminder in my mobile phone for three months in advance so that I know exactly when to start taking the drug and not miss this day. It is precisely this interval in reception that is very important.
  • If you decide to prepare your baby for the autumn-winter season, then start prevention in July. So in September you will finish taking Bronchomunal and the child will develop strong immunity for the whole autumn and winter. But it's okay if you started taking the drug later.
  • It is very profitable to buy a package of 30 tablets at once for the entire course. The price is much nicer;
  • If the baby is not yet able to swallow the capsules whole, do not be afraid to open them and get the powder. Dissolve it in water or juice and give it to your child along with the liquid.

Reception features

You should pay attention to such features of the drug:

  • If the baby has a hypersensitivity to the medication, stop using it.
  • If the baby has been vaccinated, stop taking it for at least a month. It is impossible to combine the use of Bronchomunal and vaccination.
  • One of the medicine's ingredients, mannitol, can loosen stools.
  • There is almost no sodium in Bronchomunal.
  • If treatment is required for an adult, it is necessary to select the release form with the appropriate dosage.

If you did everything correctly, the effect of the reception will follow in 1-2 months. The child will be less sick and less sensitive to infection.

Analogues

In the absence of Bronchomunal, it can be replaced by analogues. Among them are both immunostimulants with lysates of dead bacteria and herbal medicines:

  • Bronchovax. Like Bronchomunal, it is based on a lyophilisate of dead bacteria. It has a similar effect and is approved for use for children from six months. Price - about 500 rubles.
  • Ribomunil. Includes ribosomes of ARVI pathogen cells. It is used to treat infections in children over six months old. Produced in the form of granules from which the solution is prepared. Cost - from 400 rubles.
  • Ismigen. The drug is made on the basis of a lyophilisate of bacteria, however, it is allowed for use in children from 3 years of age. Release form - tablets for sublingual resorption. The cost for 4 tablets is about 400 rubles.
  • Imudon. The preparation is based on a lyophilisate of dead microorganisms. Produced in the form of lozenges approved for children from 3 years. The cost is about 400 rubles.
  • IRS-19. The drug is based on a lyophilisate of bacteria and activates the body's defense against both a specific pathogen and various infections. Available as a nasal spray. Price - about 500 rubles.

Game progress: The players stand in a circle. A rope lies on the ground, the ends of which are tied. They approach the rope, lift it from the ground and, holding it with their right (or left) hands, walk in a circle with the words:

Barely, barely, barely, barely

The carousels are spinning

And then around, around

Everyone run, run, run.

The players move slowly at first, and after the word "run" they run.

At the command of the head "Turn!" they quickly take the rope with the other hand and run in the opposite direction. In words:

Hush, hush, don't rush

Stop the carousel

One and two, one and two

Here the game is over.

The movement of the carousel gradually slows down, and stops with the last words. The players put the rope on the ground and scatter around the site. On a signal, they rush to sit on the carousel again, that is, take hold of the rope with their hand, and the game resumes. You can take places on the carousel only until the third bell (claps). A latecomer does not ride the carousel.

The teacher offers the “kittens” to run easily, gently. To the words of the teacher: “Puppies!” - the second group of children climbs over the benches. They run after the "kittens" and bark: "Av-av-av." "Kittens", meowing, quickly climb onto the bench. The teacher is there all the time. "Puppies" are returning to their houses. After 2-3 repetitions, the children change roles and the game continues.

The cat wakes up, catches mice. The mice run into the houses.

P / and (Russian folk) "Cabbage"

I amuse the pegs of crayons, I am building my own garden.

So that the cabbage is not stolen, they did not run into the garden

Wolves and tits, beavers and martens,

Mustachioed hare, clubfoot bear.

Children try to run into the "garden", grab the "cabbage" and run away. Whoever the "owner" catches is out of the game.

"Squirrels" hide behind trees, and "bunnies" behind bushes. They choose the driver - the "fox". "Bunnies" and "squirrels" run around the clearing. On a signal: "Danger - a fox!" - "squirrels" run to the tree, "hares" - to the bushes. Whoever completed the task incorrectly, those "fox" catches.

Children walked in the forest, picked strawberries,
There are many berries everywhere - both on the bumps and in the grass.

Children disperse around the playground, run. The teacher continues:

But here the branches crackled ...

"Doves" scatter, and "hawk" catches them. Then the “hostess” calls: “Guli-guli-ghuli” - and the “pigeons” flock to the “hostess”. The one whom the “hawk” caught becomes the “hawk”, and the former “hawk” becomes the “mistress”.

P / and "Transfer objects"

Purpose: to develop coordination in space, agility, speed of reaction.

Game progress: 2-4 circles are drawn on the ground on opposite sides. Different objects are placed in one circle (skittles, cubes, toys), the other remains free. Children stand in two lines (or one column) and, at the signal of the teacher, begin to transfer objects one by one from another circle.

P / and "Traps with squats"

The player who is being overtaken by the driver can crouch down and touch the ground with his hand. In this position, it cannot be stained. However, the driver can stand a stone's throw from the crouched one and count to five. If the player does not run away with a count of "five", the driver can stain him. The game is played within the area, the border of which is not allowed to leave. Anyone who breaks this rule becomes a leader. The winner is the one who has never been in the role of a driver.
