Ural Airlines what can be in hand luggage. Ural Airlines has changed the rules for carrying luggage. How to avoid going overboard

In the past few years, the Russian currency has experienced more than one bad day in its life and this was influenced by many internal and external factors. At the moment, despite the fact that the cost of black gold continues to be very shaky, the ruble exchange rate is gradually recovering in the usual direction. The further state of the oil price and the ability of the Russian economy to restore its growth are the decisive factors that determine what awaits the Russian ruble in 2017.

The internal situation with the Russian economy continues to be quite tense, and to be honest, there is a reason. Firstly, the cost of oil very much “knocked down” the hopes for the development of the state in the future. Secondly, the sanctions of Western states have noticeably reduced the ardor of politicians regarding the imminent exit of the state from the recession. Thirdly, Russia's external debt has not yet been fully paid. As a result, we get a not too rosy picture, against which the exchange rate of the euro and the dollar against the Russian ruble is growing by leaps and bounds. In order to somehow keep the current situation stable, the country's government has to deplete foreign exchange reserves. Depending on a variety of factors, experts see several possible options for the development of the situation with the Russian ruble.

Options for the development of events

According to UBS analysts, in 2017 we should expect a weakening of the local currency, the exchange rate of which against the dollar will rise to 85-90 rubles. It is worth noting that the weakening of the state currency and the strengthening of the euro and the dollar are taking place against the backdrop of the actions of the Central Bank. Already, the regulator is resuming the purchase of foreign currency in order to replenish the depleted reserve fund, and this immediately has a rather negative effect on the state of the ruble exchange rate. It is also worth mentioning that it is possible that the level of GDP will begin to rise slightly in 2017, but when exactly this will happen and whether it will happen is unknown.

Analysts' real forecasts for the coming year are based on the assertion that the Central Bank will continue to reduce the interest rate, which may also lead to a significant depreciation of the Russian currency. True, in this light, import growth may resume due to a soft budget policy. So far, the Russian economy continues to be very viscous due to the fact that the industry of the state is still in stagnation.

Possibility of devaluation

Against the background of the constantly deteriorating position of the Russian currency, is it worth considering the possibility of a collapse of the ruble? According to the Central Bank, in 2017 the dollar exchange rate will approach its fundamental value, and since the ruble has already been aligned with its current exchange rate, the long-awaited stabilization of the local currency may now begin. It turns out that the further exchange rate of the ruble will depend only on external factors that can really lead it to a collapse. To date, such factors are considered:

  • changes in the oil market;
  • the ability to change the Fed rate;
  • slowdown in China's current economy.

According to the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank, Sergei Shvetsov, the dollar may decline slightly after the Fed increases its rate. In the meantime, the expectation of at least some action from the American regulator only has a negative effect on the ruble.

China, whose economy is the world's largest consumer of raw materials, could slow its GDP growth, which should keep the price of oil and metals in check. In such conditions, the ruble will continue to lose its positions.
Oil prices continue to be a key factor in the development or rapid fall of our currency. Already before the summer of this year, it will be possible to see a slight weakening of the ruble, while the baseline forecast for 2017 is $55 per barrel of oil. At the same time, one should not exclude the possibility of a market collapse, which will lead to the inevitable process of currency devaluation.

At the moment, it is impossible to determine the only exact scenario for the development of events, since the economy of our state and the ruble as a whole depends on many factors that can change course at any time. Therefore, ordinary citizens can only believe in the best and hope for a positive outcome of this whole situation!

Each airline has its own rules regarding the carriage of things on the plane. In order not to get into an unpleasant situation when booking, be sure to check the policy of a particular carrier. Let's figure out what is the allowable weight of baggage on Ural Airlines aircraft, how much you have to pay for overweight and what exceptions and bonuses are provided.

Airfare

Before moving on to the airline's baggage rules, it's worth talking about airfare, because they govern how much stuff you can take with you on the plane. Ural Airlines has five tariff plans:

promo- The cheapest air tickets are sold at this rate. Provides a minimum of things. Fare tickets are non-refundable.

Economy— provides for refunds and standard baggage weight. Suitable for travelers who are not sure about the trip and it is important for them to take a suitcase with them.

Premium Economy- in addition to the above, it includes the possibility of free choice of a seat on board the aircraft and an increase in the class of service.

Business Light are tickets for traveling in the “business class” cabin. Their price is lower due to the exclusion of some services. In particular, such tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. In addition, their owner will be waiting for departure in the common hall of the airport, the entrance to the business lounge is not available for him. All other services: special menu, priority boarding, baggage allowance and hand luggage are the same as for the business fare.

Business- This fare includes everything, including ticket refunds and exchanges, as well as access to premium lounges.

Things in the salon

To begin with, let's look at what the airline's rules are regarding cabin baggage - those things that a passenger carries on board the liner. As we have already said, these conditions depend on the fare of the air ticket.

All fare plans of the economy class cabin (Promo, Economy and Premium Economy) include one piece of hand luggage per passenger. The weight of the bag is up to five kilograms. Dimensions - 55 × 40 × 20 (or 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions).

Travelers flying in business class can count on two pieces of hand luggage. The total weight of the bags must not exceed 15 kg. The size of each seat is up to 115 cm in total dimensions.

These rules apply to all passengers, including small children under two years of age who travel in the arms of their mother. Despite the fact that such passengers fly or with a 90% discount, they are entitled to 10 kg of luggage and up to 5 kg of hand luggage. An exception is made only for some flights, we will talk about them later.

In addition to hand luggage, parents can take with them, in excess of the cabin baggage allowance, a cradle and baby food for the child.

The rest of the travelers have the right to bring on board outerwear, a suit in a suitcase, a bouquet of flowers, an umbrella, a handbag or briefcase, a folder for papers, periodicals, a laptop, a camera, a video camera and a telephone. All these things are carried in excess of the carry-on baggage allowance and will not be weighed at check-in.

Airline policy

Now let's talk about the policy of Ural Airlines in terms of carrying bags and suitcases in the luggage compartment of the liner.

The Promo fare includes 1 piece of checked baggage weighing up to 10 kg. The remaining two Economy class fares provide for a larger suitcase weight - up to 23 kilograms. Business Light ticket holders are entitled to one free piece of baggage weighing up to 32 kilograms. And the tariff "Business" already provides for two such places.

In all cases, the airline limits the dimensions of suitcases. The size of one piece of free baggage cannot exceed 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions. At the same time, on either side, your luggage should be no more than 100 cm.

Exceeding any of the above criteria will incur additional charges.

Travelers who have a transfer flight with several connections should consider the following point. For all sections, the baggage allowance is applied at the rate of the first segment of the route. But if you bought a ticket at the Promo fare, then you will have to pay for baggage several times - separately for each flight.

Exceptions

Every rule should have its own exceptions. So here. The above rules do not apply to some destinations.

For example, special conditions apply on Moscow-Baikonur-Moscow flights. Here, for passengers flying in economy class, the free baggage allowance is reduced to 15 kg. Business class passengers can carry up to 10 kg of hand luggage and up to 30 kg of baggage. For infants traveling in any class, neither hand luggage nor luggage is provided.

Different from standard and baggage allowance for flights operated jointly with partners, in particular flights of the Allianz Management Company. Here, passengers can count on 20 kg of things (this norm includes up to 5 kg of hand luggage), children from 2 to 12 years old are entitled to 10 kg of luggage (including 5 kg of hand luggage). You will also not be able to carry extra baggage with an infant - they are not entitled to free baggage and hand luggage.

Airline specific requirements

  • Sport equipment. A passenger can carry one set of equipment free of charge, provided that the ticket was not purchased at the Promo fare, and the dimensions and weight do not exceed the norm.
  • Musical instruments.
  • Cars, motorcycles, boats and spare parts for them.
  • Flowers and seedlings. If they are not prohibited for transportation by customs and sanitary regulations.
  • Animals. They are transported only when accompanied by adult passengers and with the written permission of the airline. They will require additional documents.
  • Heavy baggage over 50 kg. His airline will recommend to issue as a cargo.

Anything beyond that comes at an additional cost at the applicable rate. Moreover, it is worth notifying the airline about such items in advance at the time of booking the ticket, otherwise it has the right not to allow your items to be transported. You can pay for excess or oversized baggage in any convenient way. Fares start from 2000 rubles on domestic flights and from 35 euros on international flights.

The airline may refuse to transport oversized items even if they are on the list of prohibited items. It is quite extensive, weapons, explosives, flammable, poisonous and other substances dangerous to others have got here. You can get acquainted with the full list on the official website of the airline. You will not be able to carry these items even for a surcharge. Some categories of prohibited items can be carried, for example, weapons. But this will require special permits and documents.

Payment for excess baggage

How much does excess baggage cost? This issue is especially of interest to owners of tickets at the Promo tariff, because there are minimum baggage allowances. Exceeding the weight of free baggage will cost 2,500 rubles for flights within Russia, 35 euros for a flight to one of the CIS countries, or 40 euros for flights to other countries. Travelers who pay for this service on the carrier's website or in the application can save money, here you will pay only 2000 rubles. Please note that these rates only apply to suitcases that weigh no more than 23 kg. The more weight, the more you have to pay. So, for a bag weighing 30 kg, in addition to the above tariffs, you must pay another 2000 rubles, 35 or 40 euros, depending on the direction.

Excess baggage at Economy and Premium Economy fares is estimated at 2,000 rubles, 35 or 40 euros. Recall that here the free baggage allowance is 23 kg.

But if your baggage exceeds 32 kg or its dimensions do not fit into the norm, then you will already have to pay 10,000 rubles for a domestic flight and 100 euros for a flight to the CIS zone. Exceeding the dimensions of 203 cm on international flights is also regarded as 100 euros, but extra heavy baggage is not allowed on them at all.

Business class passengers pay only if their suitcase exceeds the free 32 kg or the dimensions do not fit into the norm. Here the price tags are similar to the above: 10,000 rubles and 100 euros.

There is one secret here. If possible, distribute things among different suitcases and buy an extra piece of luggage, it will cost you much less: 2-2.5 thousand rubles, 35 or 40 euros, depending on the direction.

The second seat above the free baggage allowance on international flights will be more expensive. Here the price tag starts from 50 euros.

Again, these fares only apply to one flight segment. For flights with transfers, feel free to multiply all numbers by two.

Bonuses for regular customers

If you are a status member of the Wings bonus program, you can count on additional benefits. So holders of silver cards can count on a 50% discount when carrying baggage in excess of the free allowance. A similar discount applies to oversized and heavy baggage.

Gold card holders traveling in economy class are entitled to an additional piece of baggage, as well as a 50th discount on other types of baggage. In Business Class, gold tier premium customers are offered half the cost of carrying oversized suitcases.

So, now you imagine the rules, conditions and rates for baggage allowance on Ural Airlines aircraft. Before departure, be sure to check the current regulations, because they are periodically reviewed and updated.

Each carrier has its own baggage allowance.

The cost of baggage on Ural Airlines is as follows: the size of one piece of baggage must not exceed 203 cm in three dimensions, and the weight must not exceed 50 kilograms.

Anything larger is recognized as oversized cargo and is paid as cargo, not as baggage..

Ural Airlines has three baggage allowance criteria: quantity (seat), weight and size. Each service class has its own rate.

"Promo" with "Comfort" is not comfortable

The air carrier announces that it has introduced new rules for baggage transportation since April 18. The changes also affected the free baggage allowance. It depends on the fare that the Ural Airlines passenger flies.

Now there is no free baggage for those flying on the Promo fare. For them, only paid.

"Economy" and "Premium" allow free transportation of 1 suitcase weighing up to 23 kg.

"Business Light" and "Economy Light" - 1 suitcase up to 32 kg.

"Business" and "Comfort" - 2 suitcases of 32 kg.

For small passengers - their own rules. From two years old to 12 years old, 10 kg of free baggage allowance, including 5 kg of hand luggage. After 12 years - 20 kg, including the same 5 kg luggage.

There are things that are not included in the free baggage allowance and for which you will have to pay as for excess baggage. These are vehicles (motorcycles, cars, boats…), musical instruments, flowers and seedlings, birds, pets.

As for household appliances, they can be transported both free of charge and as excess baggage. It depends on the fare that the owner flies and on the size of the equipment.

hand luggage

The definition of "hand luggage" includes things that a passenger is allowed to take with him into the cabin of the aircraft, moreover, free of charge.

The weight and size of luggage is limited - no more than 115 cm in three dimensions and no more than 10 kilograms.

For baggage there are exceptions for flying business class. For them, the free hand luggage allowance has been increased to two pieces of 15 kilograms each. But the dimensions of the luggage must be the same - 115 cm.

In addition, along with the luggage, the passenger has the right to take personal property from a limited list.

These are things that he cannot do without in flight (cane, medicines, cradle, baby, diabetic food), as well as valuable, expensive and fragile items - small electronics, a briefcase, a handbag.

Laptops, video cameras and other electronics do not need to be weighed and marked. They are not subject to baggage allowance and are not included in the weight of hand luggage.

"Light" in Ural

Ural Airlines introduced a new fare in December last year - no-luggage, aka light. The company was in a hurry and did not properly think through the rules of the game according to the "light" rules. As a result, the new tariff turned out to be crude and controversial.

It took the company's management two days to understand this and, having canceled the “light” for a while, they quickly released a new version of their no-baggage fare. This happened in December 2015.

After grinding, the notches still remained. So the passengers of Ural Airlines who have chosen "light" can both save money and, conversely, overpay. In addition, this new tariff does not apply to all destinations, and not even to all flights.

Please note that the baggage-free fare cannot be returned or changed. Rather, you can change, but you have to pay penalties. And they are rather big - 3 thousand rubles.

For example, on most baggage fares, the exchange and return of a ticket is punishable by only 1 thousand rubles.

If at the last moment you realized that you can’t fly light, then you can pay extra for things, but this spontaneous decision will cost you 2 thousand rubles.

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a "baggage" ticket right away. Better yet, “turn on” foresight before choosing “light”.

The essence of the no-baggage fare is that it allows business people who fly, as a rule, with one briefcase, not to overpay for a ticket, the price of which includes the baggage allowance of Ural Airlines.

Also, this tariff may be of interest to budget passengers who count money in an era of economic crisis, but are not ready to give up air travel.

What does "light" allow:

  • 10 kilograms of hand luggage and those personal items that are included in the limited list of things allowed into the cabin with the passenger. The owners of silver "Wings" are granted another 10 kilograms of luggage, and gold - 20 kilograms plus;
  • save on tickets. The benefit can be different - from 500 to 1,500 rubles It depends on the route;

Pitfalls of "light":

  • it is not available on all routes;
  • baggageless and some flights are deprived;
  • such a ticket may be more expensive than baggage.

For example, a Ural Airlines passenger flying from Yekaterinburg to Novosibirsk on a direct flight is deprived of a no-baggage fare. And at least this flight will cost him 7,650 rubles. But if he chooses a flight with a transfer in Moscow, he will have the opportunity to buy a “light” for 9,950 rubles. But this “light” will be heavier than the baggage fare, which costs 9,500. These are miracles.

Luggageless has low miles in the Wings program - only 5% of mileage instead of 10%, like most luggage.

Business class flying on a baggage-free fare is not allowed to visit the airport's business lounge. The fine for exchanging a business light is 5,000 rubles. They also have fewer miles than business luggage and the baggage allowance is reduced - 25 instead of 30 kilograms.

Ural "Wings"

The loyalty program, called "Wings", was created for its loyal and high-flying passengers.

For each flight on a regular flight of the company, bonus rubles are credited to a special card, which can be obtained by becoming a member of the Wings club.

The holders of these cards have privileges, including luggage.

So silver "wings" receive double the allowance of hand luggage as a bonus for loyalty to the company, i.e. 20 kilograms.

Golden "wings" have 35 kilograms of hand luggage.

Silver and gold levels have:

  • free transportation of sports equipment in 1 piece up to 23 kg;
  • free overweight of things up to 32 kg;
  • 50% discount for overweight from 33 to 50 kg or oversized (over 203 cm in three dimensions);
  • 50% discount for an extra piece of luggage. Gold card holders flying economy get 1 piece of baggage weighing 23 kg free of charge, and the following - at half price.

Thus, in this tariff there is a discount for the excess of things in value, Ural Airlines, as they say, take care of their regular customers.

Excess

And how much does it cost to carry things on a Ural Airlines plane, if there is more of it than it should be according to the norm?

Exceeding the norm by the number of places-pieces.

Since the Promo class does not have free baggage at all, starting from one piece weighing up to 23 kilograms, you will have to pay an additional 2,000 rubles. If a Promo passenger has two suitcases weighing up to 23 kilograms, then the surcharge for things on Ural Airlines will already be 4,000 rubles, and so on. This is the price in Ural Airlines for domestic flights. International tickets are paid in euros.

Routes in the CIS and to Georgia - 25 euros for each suitcase. With other international flights, for example, to Europe, it comes out more expensive - 50 euros for the first suitcase, and 150 euros for the second and subsequent ones. It turns out that it is very unprofitable to fly in the Promo class, having a suitcase with you, to far abroad countries.

Similar rates for Economy and Premium Economy passengers, but they only pay for the second and subsequent suitcases weighing up to 23 kg. They have a free baggage allowance for the first (one) suitcase. Flights within Russia - 2000 rubles each. for the second and subsequent suitcases. The CIS and Georgia - 25 euros each, non-CIS countries - 50 euros each.

Those flying in the Business class carry two suitcases weighing up to 32 kg each free of charge and pay only for the third and subsequent ones - 2,000 rubles (50 and 150 euros) each, depending on the route.

"Business Light" and "Comfort Light" have the right to carry only one suitcase weighing up to 32 kg free of charge. And, already starting from the second, the rates of excess baggage of the “Business” class come into effect for them.

oversized

Exceeding the norm in size. Everything that is more than 203 cm in three dimensions is recognized as oversized. This rule applies to all classes of service.

Heavy

Excess weight.

For "Promo", "Economy" and "Premium Economy" classes, the paid weight excess starts from 23 kg. And for superior comfort classes - "Business", "Business Light" and "Comfort Light" - from 32 kg.

If a suitcase weighs from 23 to 32 kg for flying "Promo" and "economy" passengers, then on domestic flights they will have to pay an extra 2000 rubles, within the CIS and to Georgia - 25 euros, and far abroad - 100 euros.

When the suitcase is even heavier - 32-50 kg - the payment for things on Ural Airlines increases: 10,000 rubles, 100 and 150 euros, depending on the direction of the flight. This rule is valid for all service classes.

The airline should be warned about oversized and overweight things, about excess weight in advance, when booking a ticket.

If the transportation of such special cargo was not agreed with the company in advance, the carrier reserves the right to refuse its transportation due to "technical impossibility". And you will find out this “good news” at the last moment, for example, when checking in for a flight.

Special

The airline allows free transportation:

  • golf equipment, if the baggage allowance is not exceeded;
  • a bicycle, if its dimensions when folded and packed are not more than 203 cm;
  • surfboards if it weighs less than 32 kg;
  • skis, a set for hockey, if the weight of this equipment, together with other things, does not exceed 40 kg. If the specified condition is not met, then you will need to pay extra at the rates of excess baggage;
  • guide dogs;
  • wheelchair, baby carriage.

So, as we can see, Ural Airlines has a rather flexible system for baggage and fares. Having studied it and taking into account some of its subtleties, you can fearlessly hit the road with your things. Well, what is their cost in the Ural Airlines plane, you now know.

Global statistics unequivocally says -. But this was achieved on a global scale only thanks to strict standards and rules of transportation. One of these rules is allowable weight of luggage on the plane for one passenger.

Despite the fact that many consider this rule to be a whim of the airlines, it is based on serious calculations. Any aircraft certified for travel has characteristics such as maximum takeoff weight and allowable payload weight. Exceeding the weight of the aircraft according to these indicators directly affects.

In addition, it is easy to guess that each "extra" place requires additional efforts for baggage handling, its registration, control, delivery. Therefore, low-cost airlines, earning by cutting costs as much as possible, even in 2018, are trying to limit passengers in this matter.

Global standards and regulations

What is the allowable baggage weight on an airplane in 2019? To begin with, let us explain that all baggage accompanying passengers in flight can be conditionally divided into 3 categories:

  • Personal items
  • hand luggage
  • Baggage

Free of charge, according to the law of the Russian Federation and international rules, the airline is obliged to transport 1 piece of baggage weighing no more than 10 kg and personal items (reading book, umbrella, laptop, etc.). The rest of the companies transport at their discretion, guided by their own rules.

At the same time, as in any other issues related to air travel, you can focus on a simple truth - the more expensive the ticket, the greater the allowable baggage allowance on the plane, which a passenger can carry for free.

Most modern airlines, including the leaders of the domestic air transportation market, evaluate all their passenger's baggage according to three criteria:

  • number of seats;
  • weight of one piece;
  • dimensions of one place.

When purchasing a ticket, you need to pay attention to the tariff plan - it is according to it that each airline determines how many seats and how much weight a passenger can carry. In addition, members of loyalty programs are given additional privileges.

Important! When calculating how much luggage on an airplane can weigh before a flight, keep in mind that for a child under 2 years old, even without your own seat, you can take 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 10 kg for free.

What baggage can I take on board the aircraft in 2018

Bags and suitcases that the traveler brings with him inside the aircraft are called hand luggage.

You can carry 1 piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 10 kilograms on board the liner free of charge. This provision is guaranteed by law.
But there is a small nuance - most airlines have restrictions on the size of hand luggage. The most commonly used are: dimensions no more than 55x40x20 cm or no more than 115 cm in the sum of 3 dimensions.

In turn, airlines encourage travelers who buy expensive high-flying tickets by raising their rates.
For example, in 2018, business class passengers of an airline can take 2 pieces of hand luggage into the cabin with a total weight of not more than 15 kg.
When talking about the allowable weight of luggage on an airplane, one should not forget about personal items that are not considered hand luggage by law.

In excess of the established free baggage allowance and at no additional charge, a passenger has the right to carry individual items, the list of which is precisely defined in paragraph 135 of the Federal Aviation Rules. More about it.

What baggage can be carried as cargo

More spacious bags are accepted in the cargo hold of the aircraft than in the cabin. However, there are a number of restrictions for passengers that are in effect in 2018.

The legislation does not fix the norm of free checked baggage of a passenger. This has enabled many airlines to introduce so-called "no-baggage" fares, significantly reducing the cost of travel for business and light travellers. These include, for example, Light tariffs for Utair or Economy Promo for Ural Airlines.

For standard Economy class fares, which most carriers have, the free rate is 1 piece weighing no more than 23 kg. But even here there are exceptions - therefore, before the flight, you should always look at the information on the website of a particular company.

Important! Russian airlines do not take luggage weighing more than 50 kg on board. In most European countries, the maximum allowable weight is no more than 32 kg. There, even the porter at the airport will refuse to carry such a "weight" referring to the instructions of the trade union.

The largest Russian airlines and their free baggage allowance.

Ural Airlines provides customer service in the following categories: business, business light, comfort, economy premium, economy and promo. The baggage allowance has its own differences depending on the category and participation in the Wings bonus program. There are appropriate baggage allowances for Ural Airlines.

The airline has created a Wings loyalty program for regular passengers. Bonus rubles are accumulated on the account of the program participant for any flight on the company's flights. Participants are issued a plastic card, which can be obtained by registering with Ural Airlines, as well as at the box office and the Wings travel club.

The program has 3 levels:

  • Blue card (issued from the first flight).
  • Silver card (from 20 flights).
  • Gold card (given after 40 flights).

Members of the second level can enjoy the following benefits: 50% discount for excess baggage, check-in at business class desks, improved quality of service. In addition to the benefits listed above, Gold Card holders receive free additional luggage space.

The 1PC mark appeared on tickets not so long ago and raised questions from passengers. This mark means baggage restrictions (Piece Concept system). When one free place for things is available to a passenger, the ticket is marked 1PC. The number in the mark indicates the number of available baggage pieces. If 0PC is written, it means a flight without luggage.

Thus, the rules for carrying things by Ural Airlines imply the following free standards: business fare passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces of baggage of 32 kg each, business light - 1 piece up to 32 kg, economy and premium economy - 1 piece up to 23 kg, promo - 1 piece up to 10 kg. The dimensions of the checked baggage must be 203 cm in three dimensions, but not more than 100 cm in any of the dimensions (length, width, height).

Transportation of excess cargo can be paid in advance or on the day of departure. The price for excess baggage depends on the weight of the cargo. Payment is made according to the tariff at the time of receipt of the receipt.

Heavy and oversized baggage must be booked in advance. The company must agree to the transportation of such cargo.

Transportation of hand luggage

Hand luggage includes things carried in the cabin with a passenger. They are labeled accordingly. According to the rules of Ural Airlines, small women's bags and baby carriers are carried free of charge. In addition, the following items are carried on board:

  • books to read in flight;
  • folder with documents;
  • umbrella or cane;
  • outerwear and suit in a case;
  • children food;
  • laptop, photo and video equipment;
  • telephone.

Carry-on baggage rules: passengers on promo, economy and premium economy fares can carry 5 kilograms on one ticket, business and business light - up to 15 kilograms. The total dimensions should not exceed 115 cm. If the dimensions or weight of hand luggage are exceeded, as in many other airlines, it is paid extra. It is advisable to carry money and valuables, fragile items and documents exclusively in the cabin.

There are also special requirements for the transport of liquid substances. For domestic flights within the Russian Federation or within the CIS and Europe, it is allowed to take 100 ml of liquid with you in one container, and for long-haul flights, for example, to Canada or the USA - 90 ml each. One person is allowed to carry one liter. Liquid containers purchased from Duty Free must be packaged so that the contents can be seen. In addition, it is advisable to keep the receipt.

Oversized baggage

It is allowed to carry various sports equipment, subject to the established conditions. If the free quota is not violated, it is allowed to transport a bicycle with flat tires and disassembled. The total folded size of the vehicle must not exceed 203 cm.

If it is necessary to transport oversized cargo or baggage that exceeds the norm, the carrier should be notified of this at least one day before departure. The possibility of transporting such goods depends on the availability of a ticket and free space in the cargo compartment. Baggage, the length of which is more than 203 cm, and the mass exceeds 50 kg, is called cargo.

Transportation of animals

To transport an animal, you must have the appropriate documents authorizing its transportation. Such a flight is possible only together with the owner in the cabin. The shipping rates are as follows:

  • flights within Russia - 2.5 thousand rubles;
  • flights to the CIS countries - 35 euros;
  • long-distance flights - 60 euros.

The dimensions of the container should not exceed 45x35x25 cm. The weight of the pet together with the carrier is up to 8 kg. The passenger must first find out the cost of transportation and notify the carrier if he wants to transport the animal in the cabin of the airliner. It is necessary to prepare the pet for the flight in advance, especially if the container has just been purchased. Service cynological dogs and guide dogs are transported free of charge, which accompany passengers with visual and hearing impairments.

Cargo ban

Baggage that poses a potential danger to passengers is prohibited from being transported by aircraft. Therefore, in some cases, they may refuse to transport items if they are subject to an export ban.

Prohibited items include:

  • explosive and flammable substances;
  • liquefied and compressed gases;
  • organic peroxides;
  • radioactive and toxic substances;
  • electric scooters, segways on lithium batteries.

If a passenger has excess baggage, it is transported for an additional fee. The cost of transportation is charged in accordance with the available weight. Ural Airlines provides an opportunity to pay for baggage transportation at terminals or using a card. For the transportation of live plants and vegetables, documents of the established form are required to allow their transportation.

Export of valuable cultural items

To export antiques, you must pass an examination and obtain written permission. To do this, you must first make copies of all export documents and submit a petition to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

When importing cultural property into the territory of the Russian Federation, a conclusion is required on their estimated value and a conclusion on the origin of this item. Historical values and rare items require special documents.

A passenger who regularly makes flights can control his movement in his personal account by registering on a special website of the company. It contains all the necessary information about flights, bonus programs and other opportunities.
