special instructions

Before using the drug, the doctor should read the list of special instructions:

  • Thiamine is destroyed in solutions containing sulfites. The decay products of thiamine reduce the effect of other vitamins.
  • Thiamine is incompatible with iodides, acetates, tannic acid, phenobarbital, riboflavin, dextrose, benzylpenicillin, disulfites.
  • Copper accelerates the destruction of thiamine.
  • Pyridoxine weakens the effect of levodopa in Parkinson's disease. Also reduces the effects of cycloserine, penicillamine, isoniazid.
  • With the simultaneous use of lidocaine with epinephrine compounds, side effects on the heart muscle may increase. The same happens when used together with sulfonamides.
  • Vitamin B 12 is incompatible with heavy metal compounds. Riboflavin can also destroy vitamin B 12. Antioxidants have an inhibitory effect.
  • In case of intravenous administration, which occurred by accident, the person should be under the supervision of a doctor or be hospitalized.
  • There is no reliable information on the effect on the speed of psychomotor reactions.

Storage conditions

Milgamma in ampoules is stored at temperatures below 15 degrees (refrigerator door). It is important to protect the drug from direct sunlight. Shelf life 2 years.

Analogues

Analogues are other complex preparations of B vitamins: Kombilipen, Unigamma, Triagamma, Vitagamma.

Group B. Vitamins of this group are used to treat pathologies of the nervous tissue and diseases of the nerves of various origins, in which inflammatory and degenerative changes occur, in conjunction with impaired nerve conduction. The drug is used in neurological practice, and also partially in orthopedic - for the treatment of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system. B vitamins improve blood circulation and hematopoietic processes, stabilize the functioning of the nervous system, and in large doses contribute to pain relief.

pharmachologic effect

Thiamine (aka vitamin B1), is transformed during metabolism into cocarboxylase. Without cocarboxylase, the normal implementation of carbohydrate metabolism is impossible, which, in turn, adversely affects the function of the nervous tissue. Lack of thiamine in the body is fraught with the accumulation of carbohydrate metabolites, which leads to various pathologies.

The composition of the tablet form of the drug, instead of thiamine hydrochloride, contains the substance benfotiamine . This substance also takes part in carbohydrate metabolism.

Pyridoxine - another vitamin of group B - when metabolized, it participates in amino acid metabolism and the synthesis of active mediators of the body:

  • dopamine
  • histamine.
Also vitamin B6 takes part in the processes of hemoglobin formation.

Vitamin B12 (or cyanocobalamin) acts as an antianemic agent; stimulates the synthesis of such substances as:

  • choline,
  • nucleic acids,
  • methionine,
  • creatinine.
Takes an active part in cellular metabolism. It is also an analgesic.

Thiamine excreted along with urine; does not accumulate in body tissues.
Cyanocobalamin actively binds to albumin after entering the blood plasma. It accumulates in the bone marrow, easily penetrates the hematoplacental barrier.

Indications for use

  • Restorative action.
  • Neuritis and neuralgia, including retrobulbar neuritis.
  • Polyneuropathy of alcoholic or diabetic character.
  • Herpesvirus infections.
  • Paresis of the facial nerve.
Studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of Milgamma in patients with:
  • neuropathy;
  • pathology of the brain;
These studies have shown a significant reduction in pathological symptoms:
  • the functions of organs and blood vessels were normalized,
  • improved concentration,
  • the deficiency of B vitamins disappeared.

Instructions for use of the drug in the form of tablets and solution for injection (for injections)

The initial dosage of Milgamma is 2 ml deep intramuscularly, once a day. Maintenance therapy - 2 ml, once every two days. As maintenance therapy, you can use the tablet form of the drug - 1 tablet, once a day. To quickly relieve an attack of acute pain, intramuscular injection of the drug is used once; or orally, three times a day, one tablet.

The duration of therapy with Milgamma is 1 month.

children

The age limit for taking the drug is 16 years. Children under this age are not prescribed the drug.

Interaction

Interaction with sulfate solutions is excluded - thiamine in such cases completely decomposes. With the appearance of thiamine metabolites, inactivation of other vitamins in the preparation begins.

Thiamine is inactivated in the presence of:

  • acetates,
  • iodides,
  • carbonates,
  • mercury chloride,
  • iron ammonium citrate,
  • riboflavin,
  • tannic acid,
Its activity decreases with increasing pH, and in the presence of copper.

Pyridoxine reduces the effectiveness of antiparkinsonian drugs, in particular Levodopa. Their application should not coincide in time. In the presence of some salts of heavy metals, inactivation of cyanocobalamin begins.

Overdose

An overdose of Milgamma is accompanied by an increase in the symptoms of side effects. In the event of the appearance of such signs, symptomatic therapy is carried out.

Reviews

Olga, 34 years old.
I had neuritis of the facial nerve - very unpleasant and painful. The treatment was prescribed complex - and physiotherapy, and vitamins for general strengthening ( including Milgamma), and facial gymnastics. The left half of the face was just numb, it was such an unpleasant sensation. Thanks to Milgamma and other drugs that the neurologist prescribed for me - the neuritis went away.

Natalia, 40 years old.
I have diabetic polyneuropathy - the sciatic nerve is affected, and this is a chronic form that cannot be treated. The most that can be done is to alleviate the condition a little. Well, here I am saved by Milgamma, this is an excellent neurological remedy.

Yana Nikolaevna, 49 years old.
I have myalgia. Because of it, I often feel a dull pressing pain. I complained to my family doctor, he advised me to inject Milgamma intramuscularly. This remedy partially anesthetizes, and for the most part - eliminates all sorts of such violations. I have verified for myself that the drug is really effective.

Pavel, 38 years old.
My wife and I recently went to a neurologist - I had neuritis, I had to undergo a course of treatment. At first, Movalis was injected to me, but it was so painful that it was terrible. I asked the doctor to replace Movalis for me with another remedy. He appointed Milgamma. Well, this drug is better, of course, it doesn't hurt so much. The neuritis is gone, but the consequences remain, unfortunately.

Before use, you should consult with a specialist.
Reviews

My mother works as the bookkeeper. The work is sedentary, and nervous besides. When she began to complain to me about neck pain, I immediately understood what I needed to advise her. She herself was also tormented until the doctor prescribed a drink of milgamma compositum. The drug is in tablets, very convenient to use. And he helped my mom too. She drank it 1 tablet three times a day. Then I took another month for prevention.

I had pain in the sternum, I thought it was my heart, they examined everything, they did an EKG several times - everything is clean, no problems. But it hurts! They sent me to a neurologist, and then it turned out that thoracic osteochondrosis manifested itself in this way. It was like a massage, I drank Milgamma tablets and everything went away. Well, thank God, at least not the heart.

One day I started noticing pain in my back. Moreover, the pain is such that it gives to the thigh and even to the toes. Well, in principle, with my office lifestyle, this was to be expected. I work as an operator, I work on the computer all day, I enter information. When it became unbearable to sit, I went to the doctor. He diagnosed sciatic nerve neuralgia and prescribed milgamma compositum. 1 tablet three times a day. I took the course for 4 weeks. The improvement was very noticeable. Since then, I always carry pills in my bag. You never know.

If you ask me what I earned in the office, I can honestly answer that osteochondrosis, well, and some money))) But seriously, sedentary work at the computer finished off my spine, constant pain. Sometimes I drink a course of Milgamma tablets, so their analgesic effect is enough for a long time. In general, we need to do sports, otherwise we all sit, sit ...

For a long time I wanted to take care of my health, and in particular the treatment of the spine. I work in an office and spend a lot of time at the computer. Because of this, in the evening the back aches and buzzes, between the shoulder blades there was a feeling of running spiders. It turned out to be osteochondrosis of the thoracic spine. She was treated with milgamma compositum. Improvements felt somewhere in the middle of the course. It has now been six months since the treatment, unpleasant

Lately, my husband and I have been having trouble at home. The face began to itch, then sharp pains began to appear for no reason. Moreover, the face became numb. I was frightened, but I understand that everything is on a nervous basis. Because of these scandals. A friend advised me to take pills, milgamma compositum. They were prescribed to her by a neurologist. The symptoms he says were the same as yours. Well, I started taking 1 tablet a day, obviously I felt better. Thank you friend for saving me.

My husband came home a month ago with severe pain in the back of his head. He also complained about shoulder pain. Works in the office, decided that it blew under the split. I did a warm compress but it didn't help. I sent him to the doctor, he says that this is not a cold, but sciatica. Like a sedentary lifestyle. The doctor prescribed milgamma compositum. We have been drinking for almost a month, there are improvements.

I have been taking Milgamma Compositum for a month already, my neuropathologist prescribed it to me for lumbar osteochondrosis. Satisfied with the drug, it helps well. The pain in my spine disappeared, and before that I couldn’t turn around or bend over, it shot terribly. An effective tool!

Milagamma Compositum helped me a lot. I had terrible back pain, I could not turn around. My daughter-in-law works as a nurse and came to see me. I thought I would have to do injections, but I didn’t want to. As a result, she advised me to buy Milgamma in tablets. I drank one tablet a day, and it helped very well. After a few days, the pain was gone. But I still finished the course, as expected.

I regularly buy Milgamma for my father. No matter how much I say, it’s useless not to strain yourself in the garden plot. And then he suffers with his osteochondrosis. He smears, of course, with ointments, but without pills in any way, after Milgamma the pain disappears.

My husband was prescribed milgamma. He broke his back at work. Whether he pulled a muscle, or with nerve endings, something happened, but his lower back hurt badly. After I drank the milgamma compositum tablets, everything became fine. I also bought it for myself, my spine also worries me. I think it won’t be worse from them, after all, they contain a vitamin complex.

Lately, only Milgamma has saved me. I got tired of smearing my lower back with ointments and creams, the effect of them is temporary and the pains return again. On the advice of a neurologist, I bought a package of Milgamma compositum, after taking the pills, the pain disappeared.

When my back muscles pinched, I ran to the pharmacy, bought Nise, began to rub it, of course, the result was, but very short-lived, and then it started to hurt again. I went to the doctor to prescribe treatment for me. He recommended Milgamma Composite drink. So he helped me a lot, after taking it, improvement began, and then completely unpleasant sensations disappeared. I am satisfied with the effect of the drug.

I'm 33 years old... it means that I had a microstroke... after undergoing treatment in the hospital, they discharged Milgamma... I wish I had her monal 🤢 just a waste of money... not only is my head like a house of advice, but I still itch all over and in the pimples ...vision in one eye dropped to -7...

I have had a curvature of the spine from an early age. Previously, this did not interfere with my life, but lately, due to constant work at the computer, I began to constantly feel discomfort. By evening, my back was especially sore. I decided to go to the doctor. In addition to gymnastics, the doctor prescribed to drink Milgamma compositum for a course of 4 weeks. Already by the middle of the reception, I began to notice improvements. Now I'm finishing the course - nothing worries me.

25 years old, athlete, injured his hand. After the first injection, the pain subsided. The effect is felt very quickly.

Milgamma Compositum helped me a lot. For a monthly course, the pain and discomfort disappeared and did not return. The most important advantage of milgamma is that it restores nerve endings, and not just relieves pain, this gives a lasting and lasting result.

I took Milgamma in tablets. Within a month, one tablet per day. Pain - aching and sharp gradually completely disappeared. Thanks to my neurologist for the competent choice of medicine. Treatment with Milgamma really helped.

I cannot judge which is better - tablets or injections, since I only drank milgamma compositum. So I was satisfied with them, the back pain, with which I had been fighting for almost a year (I used warming ointments, gels, drank analgesics), receded for good, and before that I only temporarily relieved attacks. The pills gave me even more results than I expected, so I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was tormented by pain in the lumbar region - the back is generally my weak point and often makes itself felt in the bad sense of the word. Milgamma compositum was taken for a month, one tablet per day. The course is not very large and only one tablet per day - I was surprised that it helps. I thought that just the pain would not be so pronounced. But the pain is completely gone. After a month's course, nothing bothers me yet. I plan to go to the doctor's office, to clarify whether and when I should take Milgamma again, if necessary?

Milgamma is a combination drug that contains B vitamins: B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

This vitamin complex saturates the body with the necessary elements, improves the functioning of the nervous system, the supporting apparatus, has an effective therapeutic effect, and is a powerful analgesic for acute pain attacks.

Due to the unique ability to saturate the human body with the necessary vitamins, Milgamma is recommended by experts as an auxiliary drug in the treatment of diseases of internal organs (arthrosis, vertebral hernia, gout, inflammation of the pancreas, etc.)

Due to stressful situations that accompany a modern person, natural degenerative processes occurring in the body, possible physical exertion and injuries, changes in the structure of the myelin sheaths of nerve endings occur, which leads to pain. The Milgamma vitamin complex helps to get rid of pain.

Pharmacological group

Means that affect the processes of tissue metabolism. Vitamins of group B (Milgamma), do not contain mineral complexes.

Milgamma: composition of vitamins

The active ingredients of the drug are B vitamins: B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).

The choice of the form of administration of this medication into the body depends on the individual characteristics of the patient, whether it be ampoules with a solution or tablets.

Milgamma: what vitamins are included in the solution for injection

The active substance of Milgamma injections are B vitamins: B1 (thiamine), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), as well as lidocaine, which has a local anesthetic property.

Milgamma: the composition of vitamins in tablets

Milgamma tablets are intended to be taken orally. Their composition is identical to the solution for injection (vitamins of group B - the active substances of benfotiamine 100 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride 1) and are distinguished by the absence of lidocaine hydrochloride and the presence of excipients.

pharmachologic effect

The composition of the drug Milgamma (Milgamma) includes vitamins of group B.

B vitamins are fat-soluble substances that play a major role in the cellular metabolism of the body and are involved in all vital processes. The group of B vitamins also includes the main components of the Milgamma preparation - vitamin B1 (thiamine), B6 (pyridoxine) and B12 (cyanocobalamin). Each of the components of the Milgamma vitamin complex plays an important role.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine)

Thiamine (B1) is responsible for the normalization of carbohydrate metabolism in internal organs (liver, brain and living tissues). In addition, it is involved in the production of fatty acids and optimizes the metabolism of amino acids. An important function of thiamine is that it effectively reduces inflammation of the skin, improves the condition of the mucous membranes. Thiamine is involved in hematopoiesis and in the process of cell division, preventing the aging process of the body.

Thiamine is prescribed by specialists in the following cases:

  • with liver disease;
  • in violation of the endocrine system (consequence - obesity, diabetes);
  • with eczema, psoriasis, pyoderma;
  • in case of malfunctions of the kidneys, brain and central nervous system;
  • with gastritis, ulcers, pancreatitis and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine)

Pyridoxine (B6) is a water-soluble element that regulates metabolic processes and normalizes blood circulation processes. Pyridoxine is involved in the synthesis of molecules and the breakdown of carbohydrates. In addition, vitamin B6 reduces the risk of obesity, diabetes and the development of cardiovascular diseases. The level of cholesterol in the human body depends on the amount of vitamin B6. The role of vitamin B6 is indispensable in the synthesis of new erythrocytes, i.e. this component is actively involved in the restoration of the hematopoietic function. Like other vitamins of the Milgamma complex, vitamin B6 affects the strengthening of the human immune system. In addition, a sufficient amount of pyridoxine protects against depression, relieves feelings of anxiety, and provides peace of mind.

Vitamin B6 is prescribed:

  • patients with atherosclerosis, anemia and diabetes;
  • pregnant women with toxicosis;
  • adolescents with problems of improper functioning of the sebaceous glands.

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)

Cyanocobalamin (B12) helps to accelerate the breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Responsible for the synthesis of leukocytes, which are involved in the protection of living tissues from foreign elements. Reduces the level of cholesterol in the human body. Vitamin B12 helps to normalize sleep and optimize the production of melatonin, the sufficient amount of which determines the sleep-wake cycle.

Indications for the use of cyanocobalamin are as follows:

  • radiculitis;
  • cirrhosis of the liver;
  • polyneuritis;
  • skin diseases (dermatitis, psoriasis);
  • radiation sickness;
  • bone injury;
  • acute and chronic hepatitis;
  • bone injury;
  • radiculitis and others.

Indications for use

Milgamma medicine is prescribed to patients who are deficient in B vitamins, which leads to neurological diseases:

  • neuritis;
  • neuralgia;
  • polyneuropathy - diabetic, alcoholic, etc.;
  • myalgia;
  • radicular syndromes;
  • retrobulbar neuritis;
  • herpes zoster;
  • paresis of the facial nerve.

The range of indications for the use of this drug is quite wide. In addition to the treatment of osteochondrosis, Milgamma is also successfully used in the treatment of diseases such as vegetovascular dystonia, as well as a number of diseases of internal organs associated with a lack of B vitamins. Depending on the phase of the patient's disease (acute pain syndrome or not pronounced pain), the doctor prescribes either vitamins in Milgamma tablets, or injections of the Milgamma preparation (shots).

Release form

The tablets are produced in a PVC/PVDC film blister (15 pieces) and in the original factory box.

Solution for injection Milgamma characteristic red color, available in ampoules

(2 ml), in the original factory packaging (in the amount of 25 pcs).

Mode of application

In cases of severe pain, treatment begins with 1 injection (2 ml) per day. After the acute phase of the process or with a not pronounced pain syndrome, the drug is administered intramuscularly, 1 injection 2-3 times a week.

Under the supervision of a physician, a subsequent transition to treatment with the oral form of Milgamma® is possible. In this case, it is recommended to take one tablet of Milgamma® 3 times a day.

Before taking the course of taking the drug (whether it be tablets or injections), the doctor needs to make sure that the patient does not have an individual intolerance to one of the components of the drug

Side effects from taking the drug Milgamma can be in the form of allergic reactions - rash, itching, as well as increased sweating, dizziness, arrhythmia or convulsions. All these phenomena can appear with a sharp introduction of the drug or if the dosage is not observed.

Storage conditions

It is necessary to store drugs out of the reach of children.

Vitamins Milgamma: reviews of patients and doctors

After analyzing the totality of the complex of vitamins that make up Milgamma, you can understand what benefits this drug brings to the human body. It is the B vitamins that have a positive effect on the overall strengthening of the immune system, have a powerful therapeutic effect in the treatment of diseases of the central nervous system, the musculoskeletal system. Thanks to the use of Milgamma, specialists achieve quick relief from acute pain, the treatment brings a long-term positive effect. In addition, experts recommend taking Milgamma vitamins for various diseases of the internal organs, since in this case the missing elements and useful substances are replenished in the weakened body.

Vitamin B (Milgamma): bodybuilding and weightlifting, achieving maximum results or harm to the body?

Milgamma in sports is used to enhance performance. Vitamin B1 is not anabolic and is not used for muscle growth. But it affects the normalization of smooth muscle tone and the synthesis of amino acids. Athletes use vitamin B6 during intense training, with its use increases aerobic power by about 6-7% within a month. This action of vitamin B6 has a beneficial effect on achieving maximum results in weightlifters and bodybuilders. However, do not forget that taking Milgamma is not recommended for people who have problems with the cardiovascular system. And sports loads undoubtedly leave their mark on the work of the body. Moreover, studies on the work of the drug in training conditions have not been conducted. Therefore, the question - how safe is the drug for heavy sports - remains not fully clarified.

Not all substances that are so necessary for the human body can be independently produced in sufficient quantities and successfully synthesized. The constantly deteriorating ecological situation also does not contribute to obtaining all the necessary minerals, vitamins and biologically active substances. For an active and fulfilling lifestyle, a modern person should not neglect the latest achievements of the pharmacological industry. It is the use of the Milgamma vitamin complex that will help achieve high results in saturating the body with the much-needed B vitamins - thiamine, pyridoxine and cyanocobalamin. However, do not forget that Milgamma is a drug, and it is necessary to take it after consulting with a specialist. Any overabundance of vitamins in the body can lead to side effects.

Each ampoule is labeled and has a white dot. Packings come in 5 and 10 ampoules.

The tablet form is coated and packaged in 30 and 60 pieces.

There is another form of release - dragees, which are biconvex, round white tablets. Dragees are packed in cellular blisters of 15 pieces. Cardboard packaging may contain 2 or 4 blisters.

Pharmacological properties

The drug Milgamma compositum, like its analogues, contains neurotropic vitamins belonging to group B. The drug is used in a therapeutic dose for diseases of the nerves and nervous tissue, when the patient has inflammatory and degenerative phenomena or impaired nerve conduction.

The drug Milgamma is indicated for people suffering from diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Thanks to Milgamma, which contains a large amount of vitamin B, it became possible to relieve sharp pain manifestations, improve the functioning of the nervous system and the hematopoietic system, and activate microcirculation processes.

Once in the human body, Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is converted by phosphorylation into thiamine diphosphate and cocarboxylase. Cocarboxylase, in turn, takes part in the mechanisms of carbohydrate metabolism, improving conductivity in the nerves and normalizing the functions of nerves and nervous tissue.

If the body is deficient in vitamin B1, incompletely oxidized products of carbohydrate metabolism can accumulate in the tissues, thereby causing all kinds of pathological conditions.

When deciding what is better than Milgamma tablets or injections, it should be borne in mind that the tablets contain benfotiamine, and not thiamine chloride. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble derivative of thiamine.

When ingested, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is phosphorylated. Its cleavage products are involved in the decarboxylation of amino acids, due to which physiologically active mediators are produced in the body - serotonin, dopamine, tyramine, histamine, adrenaline. In addition, vitamin B6 affects the metabolism of tryptophan.

Both vitamins B1 and B6 provide potentiation of each other's influence. That is why Milkamma compositum in tablets, injections and its analogues have a clear beneficial effect on the well-being and health of patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.

Cyanocobalamin - vitamin B12:

  • has an antianemic effect;
  • activates the synthesis of methionine, creatinine, choline, nucleic acids;
  • activates nucleic acid metabolism;
  • reduces pain resulting from damage to the peripheral nervous system;
  • participates in the metabolic processes of cells.

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic and has good reviews.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Instructions for use, as well as reviews, indicate that thiamine after intramuscular injection is rapidly absorbed and enters the bloodstream. In the body, the substance is distributed unevenly. Since the body does not have significant reserves of thiamine, the substance must be supplied daily.

Thiamine is able to penetrate the placental and blood-brain barrier, excreted from the body by the kidneys. Compared to other vitamins, thiamine accumulates in tissues and cells in smaller amounts.

After intramuscular injection of pyridoxine, the solution quickly enters the general circulation and disperses throughout the body. About 80% of the vitamin binds to plasma proteins.

The substance can cross the placenta and pass into the milk of a nursing mother. Later, it is oxidized, turning into 4-pridoxynic acid, which is excreted from the body by the kidneys after 2-5 hours.

Cyanocobalamin, penetrating into the human bloodstream, binds to proteins, resulting in the formation of a transport system. Then the substance is absorbed by the liver tissue and accumulates in the bone marrow. After cyanocobalamin is excreted in the bile into the intestine, it can be absorbed again.

Milgamma compositum - indications for use

Tablets and injections are prescribed as part of the complex therapy of syndromes and diseases of the nervous system with different etiologies. There are such indications for the use of Milgamma:

  1. plexopathy;
  2. neuropathy;
  3. alcoholic and;
  4. ganglionitis shingles;
  5. paresis of the facial nerve;
  6. retrobulbar neuritis;
  7. neuralgia;
  8. neuritis.

In addition, injections are prescribed for people suffering from neurological symptoms of osteochondrosis of the spine, night cramps. How Milgamma and its analogues behave as part of complex treatment, and what else her injections are for - you can find out this and much more from your doctor.

Contraindications to the use of Milgamma

Like any other drug, Milgamma has its own contraindications for use:

  • decompensated heart failure;
  • high threshold of sensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • childhood;
  • pregnancy;
  • lactation period.

As a rule, side effects of the drug appear in rare cases:

  1. Nervous system: dizziness, impaired consciousness.
  2. Immune system: allergic reactions.
  3. Digestive system: vomiting.
  4. Connective and musculoskeletal tissue: convulsions.
  5. Skin: itching, heavy sweating, acne.
  6. Cardiovascular system: arrhythmia, tachycardia, bradycardia.

Important! Sometimes, after intravenous administration of Milgamma, the patient may experience irritation at the injection site. The manifestation of systemic reactions are observed only in case of overdose or with very rapid administration. This is evidenced by reviews of the drug.

If other side effects suddenly appear or those described above intensify, you should immediately inform the doctor about this, who will replace the drug with another one or give recommendations on the correct administration.

Instructions for use - method and doses

Instructions for use of the drug Milgama compositum must be strictly observed by the patient. First, injections are made deep into the muscle tissue 1 time per day, 2 ml for 5-10 days. If the drug or its analogues are prescribed for maintenance therapy, it should be taken in the form of tablets, 1 piece daily.

Instructions for use of the drug and reviews about it indicate that it is better to use injections to quickly eliminate the pain syndrome. Tablets and dragees begin to act much later.

The course of treatment with Milgamma medicine can last 1 month. In this case, the patient's health status should be monitored weekly by the attending physician.

The course of injection therapy may be extended if the doctor deems it appropriate. In addition, he will tell you which form of release should be preferred in a particular case and how often the drug should be administered.

If for some reason an overdose of the drug was allowed, the patient may experience those symptoms that are included in the list of side effects, therefore, symptomatic therapy is used in such a situation.

How Milgamma and its analogues interact with other drugs

When mixing vitamin B1 with sulfate solutions, it is completely split.

The loss of thiamine activity is observed when it interacts:

  • with metabisulphite;
  • with penicillin;
  • with iron ammonium citrate;
  • with tannic acid;
  • with riboflavin;
  • with carbonates;
  • with mercury chloride;
  • with acetates.

In therapeutic doses, pyridoxine can reduce the effect of levodopa, therefore, pyridoxine is not used with it and with the drugs in which it is included. Interaction with isoniazid, penicillamine, cycloserine is also noted.

Cyanocobalamin in the presence of salts of heavy metals loses its activity. Riboflavin has a destructive effect on the element (especially when exposed to light).

Milgamma tablets and solution can be purchased at retail pharmacies by prescription.

Milgamma and its analogues should be stored in a dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding 15 ° C. Shelf life is 2 years.

Special instructions for use

The instruction says that the drug is administered only intramuscularly. If, by negligence, Milgamma was administered intravenously, the patient must be provided with symptomatic treatment of side effects and medical supervision.
