The next day, employees of the prosecutor's office went to the place, who, together with specialists, took water samples from the water area in order to clarify the circumstances of possible pollution.

The prosecutor's office hastened to recall that earlier, against Vodokanal-NT LLC, which maintains water supply and sanitation networks in Nizhny Tagil, administrative proceedings were initiated on the fact of violations of water use rules. As the press service of the supervisory agency reported, the enterprise was fined a total of 135 thousand rubles, the director - a total of 25 thousand rubles. This information, however, is not entirely reliable - the court has not yet begun to consider the above proceedings.

The administration of the Gornouralsky urban district stated at the commission that it was carrying out explanatory work with individuals living in the territory of the village of Chernoistochinsk about the need to conclude agreements with specialized organizations for the removal of liquid household waste and with organizations involved in sewage disposal. Work is also underway to restrict the passage of vehicles to the water protection zone of the reservoir.

Representatives of LLC "Vodokanal-NT" believe that the problem should be solved in a complex.

“We need a set of measures, the reservoir itself will not be cleaned, it is necessary to clean it, it is necessary to build a central sewerage system in the village so that wastewater does not flow into the reservoir. And all repairs of the dam are just a delay,” Vyacheslav Taran expressed his opinion.

Andrey Volegov, as one of the solutions to the problem, suggests using the capabilities of the dam, which is located just above the Chernoistochinsky reservoir.

“We have been dealing with the problem since 2014, we have talked with academicians, and a plan for the rehabilitation of the pond has been drawn up. All this can be implemented at the local level - for example, to increase the flow so that the water in the reservoir is washed faster. On the Ushkovskaya ditch (an artificial canal from the Chernaya River to the Chernoistoinsky Pond. - Note) there is the so-called Upper Pond, where there is an adjustable dam. To increase the flow of water, you can periodically open the bottom valves, that is, let the water flow not from the surface of the pond, but along the bottom, so that the bottom sediments are washed out of the reservoir,” Andrey Volegov suggests.

There are more radical proposals in Nizhny Tagil. For example, clean the pond from algae with ultraviolet light and catch the so-called floating islands. About two weeks ago, an interdepartmental commission visited Chernoistochinsky Pond, which included Vyacheslav Tyumentsev, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Sverdlovsk Region. It's still not worth giving up the springs completely. But if you collect water in one of the popular and proven sources mentioned above, then do not forget to boil it. Long-term studies of Rospotrebnadzor show that the quality of groundwater depends not only on the time of year, but also on the proximity of sources to industrial or agricultural facilities. So, for example, near horticultural areas in spring water, an increased content of silicon, manganese and nitrates was noted.

Perhaps in the near future, experts will still be able to test the quality of water in equipped sources. According to the mayor's office, an application was recently filed for the allocation of city budget funds in the amount of 500,000 rubles to conduct appropriate analyzes in non-centralized water supply sources. This application will be considered when adjusting the city budget by the new composition of the Nizhny Tagil City Duma in October 2017.
