How many working days were there in January. Transfers of non-working days

With the approach of New Year's holidays, and in particular the holiday, many people are beginning to be interested in questions related to the coming year, for example: what animal will it be, what to expect from this year, whether it is a leap year or not, and of course how many days will be in 2016: 366 or 365 and how many of them are working, and how many holidays and weekends. Well, let's try to deal with these interesting questions.

So, we immediately note that the next 2016 will be a leap year, which means that the number of calendar days in it is 366, which is one day more than in previous non-leap years (due to February 29).

What about working days, weekends and holidays in 2016, then their total number will help us determine for Russia, in which there is all the information we need, including the norms of working hours. So, according to the data of this working calendar, in 2016. there will be only 366 calendar days, of which 247 are working (which is 1974 hours at 40 hours of the working week) and 119 holidays and days off.

The longest weekend in 2016 in Russia will fall on the New Year holidays, since we will rest for a whole decade (from the first to the tenth of January), for this reason, January will become the month with the largest number of days off. Well, most of all, the Russians will have to work hard in August - 23 days, as well as in September and December for 22 days.

We hope that with the question “ How many calendar days in 2016“We helped you figure it out.

This calendar is a list of all upcoming weekdays in the year, as well as holidays, in connection with which working days are canceled. The calendar will be useful to an accountant or personnel officer who keeps track of hours worked.

Among other things, it will also be useful for an employee with a fixed working day to find out which days in 2016 will be unscheduled days off.

This figure indicates all holidays, in connection with which unscheduled days off operate throughout Russia (they are highlighted in burgundy). Calendar holidays are highlighted in red, and weekdays in light green.

Knowing the upcoming holidays will help you optimize your work schedule (for an accountant) and plan your weekends (for a regular worker).

Explanations to the accounting calendar for 2016 from Consultant Plus specialists

The list of holidays is nationwide and applies exclusively to employees with a fixed schedule (5 working days - 2 days off). The calendar indicates on which days in 2016 official holidays are valid throughout Russia. For people who work in shifts, such a calendar is not valid (they have work shifts, regardless of the time of day and day of the week).

It is impossible to work on holidays (workers with a 40-hour working week) - this is a nationwide weekend.

If a holiday falls in the middle of the week, the day before it is pre-holiday and its working time should be reduced by 1 hour (Article 113 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Among other things, religious holidays can be singled out as separate weekends.

On a note: for several years in a row, Russia has occupied a leading position among all countries in terms of the number of holidays, and in 2016 the Russian Federation will not lose ground. So, in 2016 this figure will be 119 days (including weekends and holidays).

Interesting to know: for workers with a forty-hour working week, it is better to take vacations in months with the least number of holidays. The idea is that the long-awaited vacation is taken for calendar days, and the amount of vacation pay depends on the working days spent on vacation.

The production calendar for 2016 for a five-day work week is presented in the video.

Working time standard for 2016

The norm of working time according to the time sheet for a regular worker with a fixed schedule (40 hours per week) per day is eight hours per day. If a person works 36 hours a week, his daily hours are 7.2 hours (36 divided by 5 working days).

In the case when a person works part-time, his working week is 24 hours and he works 4.8 hours a day (Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 588 of 13.08.09).

The table calculates the number of working days and hours per month for the whole of 2016 (this is the standard that should be followed for drawing up a work schedule for all employees with a fixed income). In addition, the table will help to compare working time standards for the month, quarter and 2016 as a whole.

Rescheduled weekends and holidays in 2016

Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation allows you to transfer weekends that fall on holidays to another day. This is done in order to optimize not only the work schedule, but also to make the best use of the holidays.

According to this law, the following days are postponed in 2016 (Resolution of the Russian Federation No. 1017, dated September 24, 2015):

  • the day off 01/02/16 (a holiday that falls on a day off) is postponed to 05/03/16;
  • the day off from 05/01/2016 is transferred to 05/02/2016;
  • 01.2016, the day off was moved to the seventh of March;
  • the twentieth of February, the day off was postponed to the twenty-second of February.

Thus, due to the postponement of the weekend, the number of days allotted for May Day increases by three days instead of one and the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day from one day to three. Among other things, the postponement of the holidays this year made it possible to celebrate International Women's Day for four calendar days!

Every year, the government of the Russian Federation establishes holidays, weekends and working days. So the production calendar for 2016 has 119 days off and holidays, and 247 working days. We remind you that 2016 is a leap year, so February will have 29 days, not 28, so there are 366 days in a year. We will bring to the norms of working time in the calendar with a 24-, 36- and 40-hour working week, taking into account a five-day working week.

In 2016, in accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, art. 112 the following non-working days and holidays are established:

  • New Year's January holidays fall on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th.

State authorities on the basis of regulatory legal acts and laws, in accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, Art. 6, additional public holidays may be specified. Such a norm is indicated in the letter of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation No. 1139-21 dated 10.07.2003, paragraph 8, and this is also indicated by the Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court No. 20-PV11 dated 12.21.2011. So religious holidays can not be recognized as additional non-working holidays, in accordance with the procedure specified in Federal Law No. 125-FZ of September 26, 1997, Art. 4, item 7.

Postponement of holidays in 2016

In order to rationally use non-working holidays and weekends by employees of organizations, they can be transferred to other days, this measure is fixed by regulatory legal acts of the Government of the Russian Federation or federal laws for the coming year, taking into account the future calendar.

The transfer of holidays in 2016 in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1017 of September 24, 2015 “On the transfer of holidays in 2016” will be as follows:

  • Saturday 2 January is moved to 3 May.
  • Sunday, which falls on January 3rd, will be moved to March 7th.
  • Monday 22 February will also be a public holiday as a result of the postponement from 20 February.

The result is longer weekends:

  • New Year holidays in 2016 will be celebrated from 1 to 10 January, their duration will be 10 days.
  • The men's holiday will stretch for 3 days due to transfers for the period from 21 to 23 February.

  • Russians will also celebrate National Unity Day for 3 days: from 4 to 6 November.

Working hours for 2016

Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation No. 588n dated August 13, 2009 determines the procedure for calculating the norm of working hours for 2016, depending on the duration of the working week established in the organization, which can be set as five days, with working days from accomplice to Friday, and days off on Saturday and Sunday. Thus, a 40-hour work week assumes an 8-hour work rate, a 36-hour work week assumes a rate of 7.2 hours, and for a 24-hour work week, the rate will be 4.8 hours.

In accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation Art. 1, the duration of the work shift or the day immediately preceding the holidays will be reduced by 1 hour, so in 2016 citizens will work one hour less on November 3 and February 20. This rule will apply to all modes of work of employees and the rest provided to them.
