Astheno-neurotic syndrome - treatment. How to make the right vodka compress? Diagnosis and treatment

More and more people are dealing with anxiety and irritability, regardless of age and gender. This condition is called neurasthenia. Faced with an illness, you can not go to the doctor, but try to overcome the disease yourself.

What is neurasthenia

Before considering the problem of treating the disease, you need to deal with the phenomenon itself. Understanding the nature of the disease, the mechanisms of its occurrence and development, manifestations and types will allow you to establish the presence of the problem of neurasthenia on your own and cure it at home.

concept

Neurasthenia or astheno-neurotic syndrome is a psychological disorder, which is expressed in increased irritability, fatigue, loss of the ability to prolonged physical and mental stress. Pathology belongs to the group of neuroses of functional psychogenic reversible disorders that tend to be protracted.

Neurasthenia, as an object of scientific study, was first described in 1869 by the American physician George Beard. He was able to identify the main mechanisms of the disease.

Origin mechanism

Astheno-neurotic syndrome is formed as a result of a combination of several factors:

  • psychological trauma;
  • excessively strenuous work activity;
  • physiological deprivation: lack of sleep, lack of rest.

Additional factors that can increase or accelerate the likelihood of developing neurasthenia are:

  • infections;
  • intoxication (alcohol, drugs, smoking);
  • endocrine disorders;
  • malnutrition.

Manifestations

When analyzing the astheno-syndrome of neurasthenia, two key characteristics are distinguished: progressiveness and reversibility. Under the first one, it should be understood that the pathology develops, there is a gradual increase in symptoms, a transition from mild to severe stages. Under the reversibility of the disease - the possibility of stopping the development and complete recovery, restoring the psychological, physical and emotional state of a person.

Key manifestations of neurasthenia:

  • irritability;
  • sleep disturbance;
  • sudden changes in emotional state and mood.

Additional symptoms appear at various stages. They depend not only on the nature of the development of pathology, but also on the individual characteristics of a person.

Classification

In modern science, there are three stages or forms of neurasthenia.

  • Hypersthenic.
  • Irritable.
  • Hypothetical.

The hypersthenic form of neurasthenia is mild. It is the most widespread. It manifests itself in the classic manifestations: irritability and excitability.

Signs of the hypersthenic form of neurasthenia:

  • strong irritation in response to the slightest noises, conversations, any sounds;
  • irritation due to rapid movements, the presence in the field of view of a large number of people;
  • rapid development of irritation into aggression: raising the voice to relatives, employees, interlocutors;
  • increased likelihood of loss of self-control, which is expressed in offensive statements;
  • reduced efficiency due to mental lack of concentration, absent-mindedness, inability to concentrate;
  • inability to withstand prolonged stress of active attention when performing any work;
  • sleep disturbances: a person falls asleep badly, sleep is often interrupted, accompanied by profuse dreams, which are caused by experiences suffered during the day;
  • sleep problems are expressed: in the absence of a feeling of rest in the morning, difficulties in getting up on time, frequent bad mood, feelings of an unclear head, weakness and fatigue;
  • frequent headache, weakness, memory impairment.

During the work process, the disorder in the hypersthenic stage manifests itself in the fact that a person is constantly interrupted, leaves the workplace many times, then returns and for a long time adjusts to further activities. This situation is repeated many times, which affects labor productivity: it decreases.

The irritable form of neurasthenia is the second phase, intermediate between hypersthenic and hyposthetic.

The key symptom of the stage is irritable weakness. It is characterized by the following combined manifestations:

  • increased excitability;
  • fatigue;
  • rapid exhaustion;
  • inability to control their external emotional manifestations;
  • active attention disorder;
  • distraction;
  • the predominance of depressed mood;
  • in advanced stages, depression, exhaustion, gloominess, lethargy, indifference are characteristic;
  • sleep disorders: poor falling asleep, superficiality that does not lead to rest, drowsiness during the day and insomnia at night;
  • violation of appetite, the activity of the digestive system, the appearance of belching, heartburn, constipation, a feeling of heaviness;
  • headaches, palpitations, sexual dysfunction.

Outbreaks of irritability and excitement are frequent, but do not differ in duration in time. The first is expressed in the form of tearfulness, impatience, fussiness. Manifestations of irritable neurasthenia - in painful intolerance to loud sounds, noises, bright lights, pungent odors.

The third stage is neurasthenia of weakness and exhaustion. This is a hypothetical form of the disease. Its symptoms are presented below.

  • Lethargy.
  • Apathy.
  • Drowsiness.
  • Depression.
  • Inability to mobilize for work effort.
  • Constant feeling of great fatigue.
  • Anxious, sad, depressed mood.
  • Lack of interest in surrounding events, actions.

Means of treatment

The reversibility of the disease allows you to effectively treat neurasthenia. When the first symptoms of pathology appear, it is recommended to consult a neurologist. If this is not possible, there are many ways and means to cure the disease at home.

Seeing a doctor allows for a detailed diagnosis and examination. Preparatory measures will accurately determine the nature and degree of development of the pathology, its causes and side effects. A positive aspect of treatment by a specialist is the ability to identify related problems, since astheno-neurotic syndrome often accompanies more serious lesions - a brain tumor or neuroinfection.

Neurasthenia is often accompanied by infections, intoxications and other mental disorders. Examination and diagnostics (MRI and rheoencephalography) will allow you to establish an accurate picture and take effective treatment measures, taking into account individual characteristics. Treatment of neurasthenia at home does not allow you to take into account all the nuances and dangers.

If the treatment of hypersthenic and irritable stages allows you to leave the patient at home, then with more severe manifestations of hyposthetic neurasthenia, it is recommended to carry it out in a hospital. Such a measure is necessary when using antidepressants and tranquilizers.

Medications

Medications are allowed to be used only after examination by a doctor and according to his prescription. Otherwise, the use of drugs can lead to negative consequences. In medicine, the following drugs are used for drug treatment of neurasthenia:

  • "Grandaxin";
  • Omega-3 complex;
  • "Tenotin";
  • "Vazobral";
  • nootropic drugs: drugs based on the leaves of Ginkgo biloba, as well as Nootropin, Glycine, Cerebrazilin.

Folk remedies

At home, resorting to medical treatment without the advice of a doctor is not worth it. In this case, it is better to turn to proven folk remedies, of which there are a great many.

These prescriptions for the treatment of neurasthenia include:

  • herbs;
  • tinctures;
  • baths;
  • massage.

The best folk remedy is medicinal herbs. They not only have a healing effect, but also have a sedative effect, which manifests itself in reducing irritability, reducing anxiety, improving sleep, restoring strength, strengthening the nervous system, and relaxation.

For the treatment of neurasthenia, the following herbs and berries are used.

  • Chicory. Two tsp. diluted in a glass of water. It is worth taking the solution three times a day, 100 ml before meals.
  • Bedstraw. One tsp herbs are diluted in a glass of boiling water. The liquid is cooled and taken in small doses (two or three sips) throughout the day.
  • Viburnum bark. One tsp pour a glass of water and boil for 15 minutes. The filtered liquid is taken before meals, one tbsp. l.
  • Sunflower. In a young, just blossoming sunflower, the petals are torn off. They are soaked in a container of water. The liquid is infused for ten days. Use according to Art. l. before meals.
  • Valerian. Four tsp. plant roots (crushed) pour 50 ml of water (boiling water). The liquid is infused for 8-12 hours. Take the drug according to Art. l. four times a day. For women and children, the dosage is reduced to tsp.

Medicinal, relaxing baths are an effective remedy for women and children. They should be taken in the evening, before bed.

Bath procedure for neurasthenic disorders:

  • medicinal herbs are pre-infused;
  • the bath is filled with water at a comfortable and familiar temperature of 35-37°C;
  • ready-made infusions are poured into the bath;
  • It is recommended to take a bath for 15-20 minutes.

An infusion of herbs for a bath can be prepared as follows:

  • the following herbs are needed: mint, lemon balm, wormwood, pine buds, calamus root, yarrow (3-4 tablespoons each);
  • herbs are placed in a container of water (10 l);
  • infusion produced within 5 hours;
  • before pouring into the bath, the liquid is filtered.

Another recipe:

  • a glass of crushed angelica roots is poured into a container with three liters of water;
  • the root in the liquid is boiled over low heat for 15 minutes;
  • add 1 tbsp. l. oregano and mint;
  • continue to cook for another 10 minutes;
  • the broth is removed from the heat and infused for 60 minutes;
  • strain before use.

Another way to deal with neurasthenic disorders is massage. A competent effect on the tissues of the back, neck, head, limbs leads to the restoration of vital processes, relaxes and soothes.

A slowly progressive disease, caused by a deterioration in the state of the nervous system, is characterized as astheno-neurotic syndrome (ANS). Pathology belongs to the category of neurosis-like syndromes and is not an independent anomaly. This is a complex of signs that manifest themselves depending on the psychotype of a person.

The disorder is formed gradually against the background of frequent stress, constant mental stress, insufficient sleep. Chronic fatigue affects all ages, regardless of gender. It is almost impossible to cope with neurosis on your own, it is necessary to correct the psyche, medication, physiotherapy and the correct daily routine.

Reasons for the formation of astheno-neurotic syndrome

Pathology is usually attributed to the polyetiological category. In genesis, there is no single factor that determines development. Astheno-neurotic syndrome (asthenia) is formed over a certain period of time under the influence of a number of situations. What exactly is the trigger is hard to figure out. Each type of character will have its own reaction to external and internal stimuli. In scientific circles, a theory is being considered, according to which a violation in the nervous system can serve as the cause of development: an insufficient amount of mediators, oxygen supply, a malfunction in the functioning of the brain. This hypothesis is supported by a minority of scientists, the majority tends to a variety of genesis.

Causes in children and adolescents

Juveniles are more prone to neurosis. This is due to the incompletely formed nervous system and the instability of the psyche. It is noted that astheno-neurotic syndrome in children directly depends on intellectual development. The higher the indicator of mental abilities, the greater the risk of psychological overstrain.

In adolescence, conflicts with classmates can become the cause of the pathology. If relationships with peers do not add up, the teenager is constantly in a depressed state. Problems at school with a teacher can also cause lability of the nervous system, which is the foundation for the manifestation of the syndrome. An unhealthy situation in the family, divorce of parents, and cruel attitude towards children play an important role. Insufficient attention to teenagers, non-recognition of their interests and wishes causes a reaction of protest. Constant stress leads to disorders of the nervous system and psyche.

Non-social factors in the development of the disease in children include:

  • past viral infections caused by neurotoxicosis (meningitis, encephalitis);
  • age-appropriate physical or mental stress;
  • skull trauma followed by concussion;
  • malnutrition (hypovitaminosis).

The disease can be provoked by hypoxia in the perinatal period, trauma to the baby's head during childbirth, intrauterine infections of the fetus.

In adults

The trigger mechanism for asthenia is:

  • vegetovascular dystonia (VVD) in pregnant women;
  • prolonged exposure to the body of chemicals, heavy metals;
  • head injury;
  • chronic alcoholism, drug addiction;
  • constant overwork;
  • insufficient time for sleep;
  • frequent stressful situations;
  • brain dysfunction, intracranial pressure.

Common causes of the syndrome for children and adults are determined:

  • low immunity;
  • chronic pyelonephritis;
  • arterial hypertension;
  • vascular atherosclerosis;
  • anemia and other abnormal blood changes;
  • heart failure;
  • constriction of cerebral vessels;
  • pulmonary tuberculosis;
  • stomach ulcer;
  • endocrine system disorders.

An exception to the gradually developing clinical picture is the elderly, in whom an astheno-neurotic condition can form in a short time against the background of the loss of a loved one. Also, the pathogenesis of the syndrome becomes hereditary predisposition.

Main risk group

The disease can manifest itself at any age, regardless of social status and financial situation. The risk group is:

  1. Elderly people and adolescents of puberty due to age-related changes, hormonal changes in the body.
  2. People who make serious decisions, responsible for subordinates, when it comes to the work of a leader.
  3. Businessmen promoting expensive projects.
  4. Emancipated women striving for independence and self-affirmation.
  5. Working in production, constantly in contact with harmful substances.
  6. Alcohol abusers, tobacco smokers, drug abusers.
  7. High school students and university students in whom mental stress and constant fear of exams form all sorts of neuroses.
  8. People working at night.
  9. Former spouses whose marriage broke up.
  10. Individuals with a number of chronic diseases in history.

The list can include children from dysfunctional families who are constantly subjected to parental violence, as well as people with high self-esteem (“unrecognized geniuses”).

Stages and signs of pathology

The clinical course of the disease goes through three phases:

  1. The initial (hypersthenic) is characterized by mood instability, difficulty in controlling emotions. A person breaks down to scream at the slightest stimulus. Poorly concentrated on one goal, the ability to work falls. The first stage of the syndrome does not cause concern among loved ones surrounding the patient. This condition is attributed to a bad mood due to temporary problems.
  2. The second stage - moderate - proceeds against the background of irritability and fatigue, minor loads cause weakness, apathy. Rest does not bring relief, the condition is accompanied by a depressive mood, a feeling of hopelessness. Problems appear at work, communication skills are lost, relations in society deteriorate. Most often, they turn to a psychotherapist for help at this stage, when they can no longer cope with the anomaly on their own.
  3. The latter form of the disease refers to a severe manifestation of asthenia, characterized by a complete inability to work, a sharp transition from depression to an excited state and vice versa. Behavior does not correspond to generally accepted norms, attracts the attention of others. At this stage, the individual does not independently seek help, he does not have an awareness of his inadequacy. Most often, relatives bring him to the doctor.

Astheno-neurotic syndrome is accompanied by the following symptoms:

  • mood instability;
  • nervousness, sometimes causeless irritability;
  • decreased ability to work due to chronic fatigue;
  • apathy turning into depression;
  • decrease in mental abilities;
  • dyssomnia (bad sleep);
  • panic attacks;
  • violation of bowel movements (constipation);
  • tachycardia, pain in the heart;
  • jumps in blood pressure, unstable pulse;
  • erectile dysfunction;
  • failure of the menstrual cycle;
  • in children - a manifestation of aggression, capriciousness, frequent crying.

Many patients have an increased sensitivity to bright light, sharp sounds cause discomfort and outbursts of anger.

Diagnosis and treatment

Determining the development of the syndrome is not a difficult task, it is more difficult to find a trigger. The beginning of diagnosing a pathology involves a conversation between a doctor and a patient to study the anamnesis. The next step is the appointment of a comprehensive examination, including the following types of diagnostics:

  • biochemical analysis of blood and urine;
  • serological tests;
  • electrocardiogram;
  • FEGDS;
  • computer and magnetic resonance imaging of the brain;
  • echocardiography;
  • x-ray of the cranium;
  • ultrasonography.

24-hour monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate is carried out. Based on the study, therapy is prescribed, including pharmacological agents, physiotherapy, training with a psychiatrist.

Preparations

With astheno-neurotic syndrome, treatment is based on the use of such medications:

  • nootropic drugs ("Piracetam");
  • sleeping pills ("Zopiklon");
  • sedatives ("Adaptol");
  • antidepressants ("Ladisan").

To improve blood circulation, "Tanakan" and a vitamin-mineral complex are used.

Along with drug therapy, physiotherapy procedures are prescribed:

  • physiotherapy;
  • visiting the pool;
  • acupuncture;
  • electrosleep;
  • radon baths;
  • spine massage.

With the right organization of the regime, these events give a good result.

Folk methods

Alternative medicine medicines are based on herbal ingredients. They have sedative properties, are easy to use, they can be prepared independently at home. Mix red beet juice (70 g) with an equal amount of honey, insist in a cold place, take before going to bed and in the morning. The tool calms the nervous system, improves sleep.

A tincture prepared from a collection of herbs, which includes:

  • rose hip;
  • cyanosis (roots);
  • St. John's wort;
  • hops (cones);
  • peppermint;
  • Melissa.

It is mixed in equal parts of 100 g of grass, poured into 0.5 liters of alcohol, infused for 10 days, taken in a tablespoon before meals. This recipe will help to cope with irritability and nervousness.

Psychotherapy

The treatment of the syndrome will not be effective without the help of a psychotherapist, the doctor will determine a special training scheme for each patient. The main tasks are to establish contact with the patient, achieve complete trust, help with the organization of the regimen and jointly solve the problems that concern the person.

Astheno-neurotic syndrome (astheno-vegetative syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, asthenia) is a condition in which the body cannot adequately respond to constantly arising stressful situations. This is due to the exhaustion of the nervous system. We can say that astheno-neurotic syndrome is a disease of modern society. Our life is subject to frantic rhythms, a person wants to do everything at once, often leaving no time for sleep and rest. Also now, with the introduction and development of mobile communications, computers, an endless stream of information falls upon a person, with which the nervous system is not able to cope.

This disease can occur at any age, in the young due to difficulties at work, in family relationships, in the elderly due to the loss of loved ones, due to the accumulation of age-related changes in the nervous system and throughout the body as a whole. Astheno-neurotic syndrome occurs more often in women, which is primarily due to the fact that modern women take on too many responsibilities, trying to assert themselves. The nervous system of men in this regard is more stable. People who work in conditions where you need to make decisions quickly and who are entrusted with great responsibility are more susceptible, work with toxic substances, shift work, when the normal day-night cycle for the body is disrupted, is also important. At first, a person is able to more or less cope with signs of fatigue and irritability, but, over time, the pathology accumulates, which can lead to the development of mental illness, dementia, and diseases of the internal organs.

How does astheno-neurotic syndrome manifest itself: watch for symptoms? People with astheno-neurotic syndrome have a lot of complaints:

  • decrease in working capacity;
  • fatigue;
  • viscosity of thinking (it is difficult to switch from one action to another);
  • irritability;
  • capriciousness;
  • constant mood swings;
  • sleep disturbances (a person either cannot fall asleep, or often wakes up, does not feel rested even after normal sleep);
  • sudden change of mood;
  • the occurrence of phobias (fear for no reason);
  • memory impairment.

Since with astheno-neurotic syndrome, the autonomic nervous system is primarily affected, which innervates all organ systems, therefore, there will be observed:

  • headache;
  • tremor of the eyelids, fingers;
  • increased heart rate, stabbing pains in the region of the heart, instability of blood pressure;
  • a feeling of lack of air, a feeling of a "lump" in the throat;
  • digestive disorders: nausea, discomfort in the abdomen, impaired stool;
  • muscle pain;
  • sexual disorders.

Tactics of treatment for astheno-neurotic syndrome. If symptoms of the disease occur, you should consult a doctor, as they may be the first sign of serious diseases of the internal organs, which the doctor must exclude by prescribing an appropriate examination. But most often, no changes are objectively detected, which irritates patients even more. The treatment of astheno-neurotic syndrome is aimed at the cause of the disease and accelerating the replenishment of the nervous system, and this process is lengthy and requires, first of all, the desire of the patient to recover. Treatment begins with non-drug measures:

1. Review your daily routine: allocate time for work, be sure to provide short breaks (for 10-15 minutes) for rest, a lunch break. Working day - no more than 8 hours. Get at least 8-9 hours of sleep. Weekends are required.

2. Try to eliminate any sources of stress: improve relationships in the family, change jobs.

3. Dosed physical activity, walking in the fresh air, going with the family to the river, to the forest.

4. Complete nutrition.

5. Refusal of bad habits.

Have a good effect:

  • massage along the spine;
  • acupuncture;
  • darsonvalization of the scalp;
  • swimming;
  • physiotherapy;
  • electrosleep;
  • therapeutic baths with decoctions of herbs.

Phytotherapy. Herbal treatment (phytotherapy) for astheno-neurotic syndrome is prescribed depending on the prevailing symptoms:

1. To lift the mood, stimulate the work of the central nervous system:

  • adaptogens (tincture of ginseng, eleutherococcus, 25 drops 3 times a day before meals);
  • weak coffee (no more than 2 cups a day in the absence of pathology of the heart and blood vessels, normal blood pressure);
  • tincture of Rhodiola rosea (10 drops 3 times a day);
  • Schisandra chinensis: Pour 10 g of dried fruits with a glass of boiling water, leave for 2-3 hours, take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day.

2. To relieve irritability, soothing:

  • tinctures of valerian, motherwort 20-30 drops 3 times a day;
  • sweet tea with mint, lemon balm, honey.

Medical therapy. With the ineffectiveness of the above therapy or in severe cases of astheno-neurotic syndrome, drug treatment is prescribed:

  • antidepressants (amitriptyline, ladisan);
  • sedatives (grandaxin, adaptol);
  • sleeping pills (somnol, zopiclone);
  • nootropics to maintain the functions of the nervous system (nootropil, piracetam, olatropil);
  • vascular preparations to improve blood supply (sermion, tanakan);
  • vitamin-mineral complexes (neuromultivit, neurobex).

Psychological help. Psychotherapy is one of the most important areas in the treatment of astheno-neurotic syndrome, although most people, especially older people, are aggressive about visiting a psychologist and psychotherapist.

The doctor will draw up an individual plan for psychological assistance, this may be:

  • individual psychotherapy: conversations with the patient, in which the doctor selects the right words, motivating the patient to eliminate existing problems, normalize lifestyle, suggest the right decisions, give advice;
  • group classes: sometimes a person, listening to other patients, understands the insignificance of his problems, overestimates his life positions, for some people public expression of their experiences brings significant relief;
  • auto-training (self-suggestion): the doctor will teach you how to relax on your own, relieve stress, what words to repeat at the same time in order to gain self-confidence.

Astheno-neurotic syndrome (, asthenic syndrome, neuropsychic weakness, "chronic fatigue" syndrome) is a mental disorder, one of the types of neurosis that occurs due to the exhaustion of the nervous system. The main manifestation of the disease is a feeling of constant fatigue and apathy, which rest and sleep do not help to cope with.

Today, there is an increase in the number of people suffering from astheno-neurotic syndrome all over the world, and the number of patients in all age groups has increased: from preschoolers to pensioners. The increase in the number of patients is associated with a change in the pace of people's lives, unfavorable environmental conditions and a large number of stressful situations in the life of a modern person.

There are a lot of risk factors for the development of astheno-neurotic syndrome, as a rule, in patients suffering from this disease, there is a simultaneous effect of several factors at once. It has not yet been possible to establish exactly what exactly provokes the development of the disease and why it develops only in a certain percentage of the population.

According to scientists, in addition to the impact of predisposing factors, patients should experience certain changes in the nervous system: a lack of mediators, hypoxia and impaired functioning of certain parts of the brain, but this theory has not yet found scientific confirmation.

Among the most important risk factors for the development of astheno-neurotic syndrome are:

In children, astheno-neurotic syndrome may develop due to the following pathologies:

  • birth trauma;
  • intrauterine hypoxia and hypoxia in childbirth;
  • intrauterine infections;
  • malformations of the nervous system;
  • maternal malnutrition during pregnancy.

With proper care and treatment, the symptoms of astheno-neurotic syndrome disappear within the first year of life.

Symptoms of the disease

It is quite difficult to notice the first symptoms of the disease in time, most often patients do not understand why they feel so bad and seek help only when it is no longer possible to ignore the problems.

Astheno-neurotic syndrome is characterized by the following symptoms:

There are no specific syndromes that make it possible to diagnose this disease. Astheno-neurotic syndrome is exhibited in the absence of somatic diseases, neurological disorders and other pathologies.

In childhood, it can manifest itself differently, in young children there is capriciousness, constant crying, refusal to eat, attacks of aggression. Schoolchildren note a sharp change in mood, headaches, constant fatigue, decreased performance and academic performance. There may also be problems communicating with peers, adults, and parents.

There are 3 stages of astheno-neurotic syndrome

Most often, patients with the second stage of the disease seek medical help, when it becomes clear that it will not be possible to cope with the disease on their own.

In the third stage of the disease, the patients themselves no longer try to get help, they are sent to specialists or brought by people around them who are concerned about the human condition.

Treatment and prevention

You need to start treatment with lifestyle changes and taking health-promoting drugs: vitamins, adaptagens, stimulants, and so on. At the first and second stages, these simple means are enough to restore the health of the patient.

In more severe cases, complex treatment is used: taking sedatives, antidepressants and psychotherapy. This combination helps to cope with even the most severe manifestations of the disease.

Medical therapy includes:

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapeutic treatment must be carried out, the type and duration of therapy is determined individually, based on the characteristics of the patient's personality. Most often, rational and cognitive-behavioral therapy, body-oriented therapy and various techniques that help a person to relax are used: art therapy, sand therapy, breathing exercises, and so on.

Despite the prevalence and apparent harmlessness of the disease, one should not take the astheno-neurotic syndrome lightly. Without treatment, this condition can lead to the development of serious diseases such as neurosis, depression, or even schizophrenia.

It is quite difficult and long to treat astheno-neurotic syndrome, it is much more effective to take care of disease prevention in advance: do not overwork, avoid stressful situations, normalize sleep and rest, and be sure to find an activity that will help to relax and normalize the emotional state.

Often people rush about in search of help ... and do not know where and where to get it. If you only knew how common the disease this letter is about...

Hello! I have a diagnosis: astheno-neurotic condition. Please tell me how to deal with this.

Hello Olga!

What is happening to you is a common functional disease of the central nervous system, its exhaustion. This is typical after acute stressful situations, and after long-term illnesses (especially in childhood), and after long-term accumulated negative moments in life. Exhaustion (or asthenia, or astheno-neurotic condition) of the central nervous system always proceeds either with the fear of “falling ill with an incurable disease”, or with the fear of “suddenly dying”, or with fear ... (there can be a great many and very diverse fears), or with "obsessive thoughts syndrome", very often - with obsessive movements syndrome, tics, etc., etc.

Asthenia (astheno-neurotic condition), paroxysmal episodic anxiety (or as neurologists call this condition "panic attacks") is one of the forms of neuroses - functional disorders of the central nervous system. This is a completely curable disease.

On one condition - the careful fulfillment of the doctor's prescriptions, which you trusted. And, of course, in eliminating the causes that cause exhaustion (asthenia) of the central nervous system, i.e. provoking asthenia thereof. And I must say right away that this disease is not getting rid of quickly, overnight.

I will help you. Provided that you very carefully follow my recommendations. And you will not expect recovery in a few days after the start of treatment. Be patient. Only patience. And accuracy.

Do not believe the one who tells you: “Come on! Pull yourself together and everything will pass. These words have always been and will be a lie, deceit. smart and kind.

Every evening before going to bed and in the morning, when you wake up, repeat 2-3 minutes aloud or to yourself (just monotonously repeat these words over and over again - this makes a great sense): “With every day and with every step, I praise God! “I feel better and more confident.” You will gradually introduce this thought, this self-motivational formula into the subconscious, and it - the most powerful force - will turn on the reserve forces of the body, which will cope with the disease. Thus, the great French physician of the early twentieth century Albert Coué saved lives and restored health (including those with persistent and long-term astheno-neurotic conditions, depression, severe depletion of the central nervous system, and hence all other systems of the human body) to thousands of people. This excellent doctor noticed that the monotonous repetition of this verbal formula leads to good results in a variety of diseases.

Smile at yourself (in the mirror) every morning for 3 minutes. Necessarily!!! Through "I don't want"! God alone knows how important this is! Smiling turns on the powerful defense systems of the body (primarily the endorphin system). That's how nature designed it. A smile is a code that is necessary to turn on the body's defenses. This was discovered by the same wonderful French doctor Albert Coue. Although ancient Egyptian and ancient Chinese doctors wrote about this. And only at the end of the 20th century this fact was explained in modern laboratories.
