Methods of prosthetics of teeth in their complete absence. Prosthetics on implants in the complete absence of teeth. Soft nylon prostheses

To date, there are various technologies for implantation in the complete absence of teeth, which are used depending on the clinical picture and financial capabilities of the patient. What are the features of these methods? How to choose the optimal technology? How much does a full dental implantation cost in Moscow at NovaDent dental clinics?

Full implantation with adentia - the best method of restoring teeth

You can restore chewing function with complete adentia using:

  • removable acrylic or clasp prostheses, fixed on the gums and on the upper palate by vacuum or with a special corrector cream;
  • conditionally removable or fixed prostheses based on dental implants.

Removable dentures are relatively inexpensive, but they create a lot of inconvenience, ranging from the mobility of the prosthesis during chewing and ending with increased sensitivity and an aggravated feeling of nausea.

Prosthetics of all teeth on implants completely solves these problems. Moreover, implantation improves the quality of life of the patient, because:

  • prevents further atrophy of bone tissue;
  • improves chewing function, protecting against diseases of the stomach and duodenum;
  • restores the aesthetics of a smile;
  • provides reliable fixation of prostheses;
  • returns a sense of naturalness and makes you forget about these problems for decades.

In the absence of contraindications, such as diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, oncology and hemophilia, implantation is the best way to restore teeth with complete edentulous upper and lower jaws.

Prices for implantation in the complete absence of teeth

Included in cost:

  • Diagnostics (initial consultation);
  • 3D modeling of implantation;
  • Implant surgery (tooth extraction, installation of 4 or 6 root-shaped implants);
  • Anesthesia;
  • Removal of casts and production of a temporary fixed prosthesis from metal-plastic;

X-ray examination - paid separately.

Attention: at the NovaDent clinic you can pay for dental implantation on credit and for complex treatment in installments.

Technologies and stages

Implantation in adentia does not imply the installation of a separate implant for each defect in the dentition, as this is expensive and not always possible. Depending on the situation, from 4 to 10 implants are placed on one jaw, on which a bridge-like prosthesis of a conditionally removable or fixed type is then fixed.

In our dental center, implantation in the complete absence of teeth is carried out in several stages:

  1. Diagnostics- includes examination, questioning of the patient, computed tomography of the jaw and referral for a blood test (clotting factors, allergic tests for plastics and metal). The purpose of the medical examination is to determine the condition of the bone tissue, the anatomical features of the jaw system, and contraindications for implantation.
  2. Planning– is carried out using 3D modeling, which allows you to select the optimal parameters of implants, determine the angle of inclination and their positioning in the jawbone.
  3. Operation– Implants are screwed into the bone in one visit to the dentist. If possible, titanium rods are implanted in a gentle way through punctures in the gums.
  4. Prosthetics- on the day of the operation or after the removal of the sutures on the gum (after 7 days), temporary bridges made of durable plastic are fixed on the abutments. After 1-3 years, the temporary prosthesis is replaced with a durable ceramic-metal, ceramic or zirconium structure.

Implantation of implants and fixation of new prostheses lasts from 2 to 7 days, after which the patient enjoys a healthy smile and can chew food normally.

Recently, implantology has been moving away from classical approaches in favor of innovative prosthetic technologies on a smaller number of supports. The most popular methods are All-on-4 and All-on-6.

Prosthetics on 4 implants using All-on-4 technology

All-on-4 technology (all-on-four) is the most economical method of implant placement, developed and patented by the Swiss company Nobel Biocare. The technique concludes that 4 root-shaped implants are implanted into the jaw with a simultaneous load. Titanium rods are installed according to the following scheme:

  • 2 implants - in the frontal part of the jaw parallel to the patient's natural teeth;
  • 2 implants - in the region of 5-6 premolars at an angle of 30-45°.

Thanks to this arrangement of artificial roots, full jaw implantation provides high primary stabilization of the prosthesis and does not require bone augmentation surgery. These factors allow you to immediately proceed to prosthetics.

In the NovaDent center, 4-on-all jaw implantation is performed with dental implants: Nobel, Astra Tech, Osstem, Dentium, Mis, Ankylos.

Prosthetics on 6 implants using All-on-6 technology

All-on-6 technology (all-on-six) is another Nobel Biocare development, which consists in the installation of 6 implantable supports in the jaw with an instant load. The rods are implanted in the same way as in the case of All-on-4.

.

In dentistry "Samson-Dent" the restoration of the dentition of any complexity is carried out as with complete adentia, i.e. the absence of all teeth, and with partial adentia.

Primary adentia (absence of all the rudiments of teeth from birth) is extremely rare. Most often, we are treated with secondary adentia - the loss of all teeth as a result of trauma, untimely treatment of dental diseases or due to old age.

Toothlessness disrupts the aesthetics of the face, distorts speech and leads to psychological problems. We will help you recreate a beautiful smile and return to a normal lifestyle!

Prosthetic options

In our clinic, two options for effective and safe rehabilitation of patients with complete absence of teeth are practiced:

  1. Manufacturing ;
  2. Installing a fixed .

COMPLETE REMOVABLE DENTURES

  • existing contraindications to implantation;
  • deficiency of bone tissue volume (as a temporary option before fixed prosthetics);
  • with a small budget for treatment.

1. Acrylic (plate)

They are an acrylic base, on which a number of artificial teeth are attached, also made of acrylic or ceramics.

Advantages:

  • low price;
  • practically invisible;
  • easily repaired in case of breakage.

Flaws:

  • provoke difficulties with diction;
  • cause some allergic reactions.

2. Akri Free

Removable dentures of a new generation, made from monomer-free (does not contain elements hazardous to the body) Acry-Free material based on acrylic resins. The material is patented by the German company Uniflex.

Advantages:

  • fast addiction;
  • strength is several times higher than that of acrylic;
  • good aesthetics;
  • do not cause allergies;
  • affordable price.

Flaws:

  • in the complete absence of teeth, insufficiently stable fixation in the oral cavity is possible;
  • cause diction problems.

3. Quadrotti

Removable clasp prostheses made according to the patented technology of the company Quattro Ti (Italy) from a soft and elastic material.

Advantages:

  • high aesthetics (significantly superior to nylon counterparts);
  • strength is 15 times higher than that of acrylic;
  • adhere well to the gums;
  • practically do not cause discomfort;
  • hypoallergenicity.

Flaws:

  • the price is higher than for lamellar prostheses.

4. Nylon

One-piece cast nylon structures that replaced the classic rigid acrylic and metal prostheses.

Advantages:

  • increased wearing comfort;
  • withstand a large mechanical load, do not break;
  • biocompatibility;
  • may not be available at night.

Flaws:

  • the need for special care;
  • used in dental practice more often as a temporary prosthesis before implantation. The service life is lower than that of classic types of removable dentures.

EXPERT ADVICE!

“The installation of a removable prosthesis does not stop the destruction of bone tissue, since it does not receive chewing load. Frequent relining of the structure is inevitable due to subsidence along with the gum.

PROSTHESIS ON IMPLANTS

It is important to understand that in the absence of teeth in the lower and upper jaws, rapid bone atrophy occurs. Classical methods of implantation involve a preliminary increase in the volume of the jawbone. It takes money and time. Therefore, in the absence of contraindications, I offer my patients prosthetics of a full dentition using the “all-on-4” or “all-on-6” system. The technology is painless, does not require bone grafting and involves minimal surgical intervention.

The most popular method of prosthetics of teeth in their complete absence.

Advantages:

  • 2-3 times cheaper than a bridge with 6-8 implants;
  • comfort in use;
  • reliable fixation;
  • simple oral hygiene.

Flaws:

  • missing.

ALL-ON-6

A variation of the all-on-four technique, carried out if the patient has enough bone tissue to install 6 artificial roots.

Thanks to the distribution of chewing load on six implants, the service life is significantly increased.

Advantages:

  • restoration of teeth without bone grafting, even with periodontal disease or periodontitis;
  • complete restoration of chewing function;
  • ensuring a uniform load;
  • comfort in use;
  • reliable fixation;
  • simple oral hygiene;
  • short rehabilitation period.

Flaws:

  • missing.

People often ask - what to choose: All-on-4 or All-on-6? So, for patients with osteoporosis, periodontal inflammation and severe bone atrophy, I recommend All-on-6. In other cases, you can give preference to All-on-4.

Which option, "all-on-four" or "all-on-six", is best for you, the orthopedic dentist and implant surgeon will decide based on the results of the examination and diagnostic tests!

Comparison of fixed denture materials

cermet

The most popular material for the manufacture of fixed prostheses, which optimally combines strength and aesthetics. Crowns are made of metal covered with a thin layer of ceramic. Service life - from 5 to 10 years.

Advantages:

  • resistance to increased chewing loads;
  • affordable price.

Flaws:

  • the possibility of oxidation and allergic reactions.

Zirconium dioxide

A modern alternative to cermets with a number of unique advantages. Service life - 20 years.

Keeping your own teeth until old age is, unfortunately, a rarity. Most often, age brings a decrease in the number of healthy teeth. It can be difficult to avoid this - even if you carefully monitor the health of the oral cavity, often the condition of the oral cavity worsens simply due to age-related changes - for example, due to vasoconstriction, the blood supply to the gums is disturbed, which can lead to even healthy teeth falling out.

But at present, tooth loss is no longer a tragedy, because now there is a large selection of new generation dentures. They are made of modern materials and have the most realistic appearance, and therefore you can wear them discreetly and comfortably.

Modern dentures

Modern dental prostheses combine functionality and convenience.
They can be either removable or non-removable and can be used for partial or complete dentition (absence of teeth).
Made from modern types of synthetic materials, new prostheses have a number of advantages:

  • They don't absorb odors.
  • Bacteria don't grow on them.
  • Dentures are comfortable and comfortable to wear
  • They are light and soft
  • The prosthesis covers a smaller area of the oral cavity
  • New dentures look as natural as possible

In addition, dentures are securely fixed, and some models can even be left on at bedtime (no more jokes about the jaw in a glass!).

Removable

To this day, removable restorations remain the choice of anyone who wants to restore missing teeth without spending a lot of money on it. Modern dentures are made from the latest polymers - soft, hypoallergenic and durable: acri-free, nylon, acrylic.

No palate

Removable dentures have existed for a very long time - however, modern designs differ significantly from their predecessors. If the old designs were quite rigid and almost completely covered the palate, causing discomfort and exciting the gag reflex, then the current models are devoid of these disadvantages.
Modern comfortable removable dentures have appeared, which are fixed directly on the gums and are held on them due to their shape (prostheses - "sandwich"), without requiring any additional means - such as gels or glue. Such designs do not interfere with leading a full life, do not stimulate the gag reflex and do not distort the taste of food. Therefore, wearing them is recommended for those who care about maintaining the quality of life.

Acrylic

Acrylic is an alternative to past generation materials. Of all modern materials, acrylic is the cheapest, so it is often chosen as a material for the manufacture of removable dentures. Another advantage of acrylic - a wide palette of colors allows you to accurately select natural shades.

However, the material also has obvious disadvantages: for example, due to the high porosity, bacteria can multiply on the surface of an acrylic denture, which can disrupt the microflora of the oral cavity. In addition, acrylic dentures are quite fragile. All this makes their service life relatively short.

Acry Free

In recent years, acrylic-free dental prostheses have been gaining popularity. This is a new acrylic-free polymer. It is soft and elastic enough, so this design does not rub the mucous membranes. It is also resistant to mechanical damage, and therefore prostheses made from this material can be worn for up to 10 years.
Prostheses made from this material, in addition, look aesthetically pleasing - translucent plastic is not conspicuous, and therefore the prostheses are not noticeable on the teeth.

Nylon

Nylon is another popular denture material. Nylon structures are very flexible and resilient, they are resistant to stress. Most often, such a prosthesis is fixed by the "suction" method.
Nylon is an ideal material for making prostheses for people suffering from allergic reactions. the design does not contain metal elements and is hypoallergenic.

Fixed

Fixed dentures are more convenient than removable structures - they are securely fixed, and therefore you do not have to take care that the dentures do not move out. In addition, the resistance of fixed structures to chewing load is much higher than that of removable ones - therefore, such prosthetics do not reduce the quality of life, allowing you to enjoy its simple pleasures.

bridge

Designs are so called because they are fixed on two supports - these can be your own teeth or implants. The bridge allows you to restore 2-4 teeth at the same time. Restoration of more teeth is undesirable. the stability and density of fixation of the structure is thus reduced. But in some cases, doctors may recommend this option.

On implants

This method of restoration of the dentition may be recommended to you if you want to restore your teeth with fixed prosthetics, but you do not have enough teeth for this (or their condition is not too good). In this case, the doctor may suggest that you install several implants, on which bridges will be fixed, restoring your teeth.

Crowns

A crown is a structure for restoring one tooth. It can be fixed on a turned own tooth or on an implant. Restoration with crowns is recommended for small defects in the dentition.

What dentures to choose?

Removable dentures are relatively cheap and easy to care for, but fixed dentures are more reliable, last longer and allow you to maintain a full chewing function. Zub.ru doctors will help you choose the right type of prosthetics. Tell your doctor about your priorities, and he will offer several options to choose from.
You don't have to put up with missing teeth. Start living life to the fullest!

The dental structure consists of a base and artificial teeth, fixed in the oral cavity with the help of physical adhesion. The basis of the design is pink and imitates the natural gum, the shape and color of the teeth are selected according to the wishes of the patient.

The prosthesis has many advantages: it is easy to manufacture, has an affordable cost and a long service life, and is made from various dental materials.

Features of prosthetics in the complete absence of teeth

With age, tooth loss occurs due to various reasons, the main of which are dental diseases. After the loss of teeth, the functions of the oral cavity are disturbed, and as a result, various diseases of the body can occur.

  • difficulty eating;
  • violation of speech and aesthetics of the oral cavity;
  • change in the appearance of the face, lips and cheeks flow into the oral cavity;
  • bone tissue atrophy occurs, as a result of which complications arise with further treatment;
  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, impaired digestion of food.

Prosthetics in the complete absence of teeth has its own characteristics, since there are no teeth in the oral cavity on which to attach and fix the prosthesis, the dentist and dental technician must take into account many points in order to ensure fixation and stabilization.

Fixation is the retention of the prosthesis on the alveolar processes of the jaws, and stabilization is the fixation of the prosthesis during the performance of the following functions:

  • Fixation . During treatment, the doctor takes into account the anatomy and individual characteristics of the oral cavity so that the methods of fixing complete dentures are effective. During the examination, the type of alveolar processes and mucous membrane is determined, depending on which various types of impression materials are used. In the absence of fixation conditions, it is recommended to perform surgical interventions: plastic surgery of the vestibule of the oral cavity, trimming the frenulum, removal of mucous cords, and bone augmentation. One of the options for a strong fixation of the prosthesis is the operation and the installation of implants in the jaw bone. The procedure is complicated and expensive, but it allows you to securely fix the structure. To complete it, it is enough to install four implants on one jaw.
  • dental material . Another feature of prosthetics is the choice of material, on which many properties of the prosthesis depend. The doctor must choose a dental material that will be strong enough, aesthetic, will not break during eating, and will correctly distribute chewing pressure. Dentures are made from acrylic, nylon, and silicone.
  • Adaptation period . After installing the product in the mouth for a month, the process of getting used to the new design takes place. Habituation depends on the characteristics of the oral cavity, individual sensitivity and the material of the prosthesis. Nylon and have a soft and elastic base, so getting used to them is easier.

A complete removable prosthesis for the upper jaw differs from the product for the lower jaw. There is a plate on the upper jaw - a part of the prosthesis that covers the palate and enhances the suction of the product, the prosthesis for the lower jaw has a cutout for the tongue.

Complete denture options

According to the type of fixation of the structure, there are two types:

  • Classic full dentures . Fixed with physical adhesion. Designs are made so that the inner surface of the product exactly meets the characteristics of the oral cavity. When the prosthesis is applied between it and the mucous membrane, a vacuum occurs and the structure is sucked. In this case, a sufficiently strong fixation occurs, but if the prosthesis is poorly fixed, experts recommend additional use of dental creams for fixation.
  • Prosthetics on implants in the complete absence of teeth . Carried out for a solid installation of teeth. For this, two stages of treatment are carried out: surgical and orthopedic. At the surgical stage, they carry out - the installation of metal rods in the jaw bone. After engraftment of implants, the manufacture and installation of prostheses is carried out.

According to the type of material used to make prostheses, there are:

  • Acrylic (plastic) dentures are suitable for everyone who is not allergic to acrylic. The structures are quite rigid, but due to this they are durable and prevent bone tissue atrophy. The product is easy to manufacture, effectively restores lost functions, has a long service life and low cost. A complete removable acrylic prosthesis has disadvantages: a long period of addiction, the risk of developing allergies, trauma to the gums.
  • Nylon products have high strength, good fixation, resistant to chewing pressure. The material is biocompatible with body tissues and hypoallergenic. But the main advantage is softness and elasticity, thanks to which there is a quick addiction and comfortable use. The material does not damage the tissues of the oral cavity and acquires the necessary shape during installation. The disadvantages include insufficient distribution of masticatory pressure. The risk of bone atrophy and the need to use additional hygiene products.
  • Silicone prostheses are very similar to nylon. They have a small size, reliable fixation, high aesthetics. Thanks to its flexibility and elasticity, it is very convenient to use. The material does not cause allergies and is resistant to food dyes. The disadvantages include uneven distribution of chewing pressure, short service life of the structure, high cost.

What are the best removable dentures to use? To choose the type of prosthesis, you need to know both the advantages and disadvantages of different designs. The dentist should select the type and material of the prosthesis, taking into account the wishes of the patient.

Stages of manufacture and installation

Removable dentures in the complete absence of teeth are made with the help of a dentist and a dental technician. The stages of manufacturing a complete removable denture are simple, but require skills from specialists and a certain amount of time.

The doctor conducts an examination, diagnosis and chooses the type of future design, tells the patient about the upcoming treatment. It also treats and prepares the organs of the oral cavity: removes the roots, treats the gums and mucous membranes.

A technician is making a prosthesis in a dental laboratory. The manufacturing process consists in the interaction of a doctor and a technician, alternating clinical and laboratory stages.

Clinical and laboratory stages of manufacturing complete removable dentures:

  1. Examination and consultation with a dentist, selection of a prosthesis. Treatment of diseases of the oral cavity, if necessary, the preparation of the alveolar bed. In case of poor fixation conditions, surgical preparation is recommended.
  2. After preparation, the specialist takes impressions of the jaws using a standard impression tray. The procedure lasts about 20 minutes and consists in preparing a special material, applying it to the impression tray, applying it to the jaws. After the material hardens, the spoons are removed from the oral cavity, the casts are washed with water and transferred to the dental laboratory.
  3. The dental technician makes individual impression trays for the alveolar processes. They are made to make exact copies of the jaws, which is very important for further fixation of the structure. During the manufacturing process, the technician casts a model of the jaw and models the product, the finished spoons are transferred to the clinic.
  4. The dentist re-takes impressions, but with the help of individual spoons, which take into account all the features of the oral cavity and mucous membrane;
  5. The dental technician makes diagnostic models - exact copies of the alveolar processes of the jaws from casts. Wax base and occlusal ridges are modeled on the models.
  6. The dentist performs the imposition of the basis and rollers in the oral cavity to determine the central occlusion, the correct position of the jaws.
  7. In the laboratory, the rollers are fixed in the correct position in a special apparatus - an articulator. The future wax structure with plastic teeth is being manufactured.
  8. The model of the prosthesis is checked in the oral cavity, the doctor evaluates the position, fit of the prosthesis, occlusion, aesthetic qualities.
  9. The technician performs the final modeling of the wax structure, gypsum the product into a cuvette and replaces the wax with plastic. Next, the plastic is polymerized and the prosthesis is removed from the cuvette. The dental technician grinds and polishes the finished product.
  10. The dentist installs the finished prosthesis in the oral cavity, checks for defects, fixation, fit.
  11. If necessary, the finished prosthesis is poisoned for revision to the laboratory.
  12. During the delivery of the product, the doctor tells the patient about the rules for the care and operation of the prosthesis, gives recommendations.

How to choose a complete removable denture?

In the absence of the last teeth, it is necessary to carry out prosthetics. Specialists offer several types of prosthetics for edentulous jaws. Designs are made of various materials and can be of two types of fixation: adhesion and implants. The comfort of using the structure, the duration of the habituation period, and the shelf life will depend on the type of material.

It is necessary to choose a prosthesis together with a specialist who will assess the condition of the oral organs and advise on the design. Dentures based on implants have a strong and natural fixation. But the implantation operation can not be performed for everyone, there are many requirements for the jaw bone and contraindications to the procedure.

Each material for the manufacture of the prosthesis has its own advantages and disadvantages, the patient must know them and choose what he needs. Acrylic dentures are rigid, but strong, have a low cost, are quite aesthetic and durable. Nylon and silicone constructions are soft, flexible and stretchy. They have good fixation, comfortable use, high aesthetics.

Care and service life

You need to take care of your favorite orthopedic product. High-quality hygienic care of the prosthesis will extend the life of the product and prevent the development of various diseases of the body. The service life of acrylic products is about 5-7 years, soft prostheses - 3-5 years.

  • after eating, rinse the mouth with water or;
  • Remove your dentures before going to bed and clean them thoroughly. Hygiene can be carried out with the help of a paste or a soap solution;
  • if necessary, use a cream to fix the product;
  • Keep your teeth in a container with water or a special liquid.

Price

Prices for removable dentures in the complete absence of teeth will depend on several factors:

  • prosthesis designs;
  • type of fixation;
  • dental material;
  • pricing policy of the clinic;
  • experience of the doctor and dental technician;
  • city of residence.

The average cost of an acrylic product is from 12,000 to 15,000 rubles, a silicone prosthesis is from 30,000 to 40,000 rubles, and a nylon structure is from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles. Prices are current as of October 2017.

Prosthetics of the upper and lower jaw in the complete absence of teeth is a mandatory procedure after the loss of teeth. leads to the loss of functions and aesthetics, the occurrence of various diseases.

Specialists are ready to offer various types of prostheses for comfortable and functional use. You should choose the type of product together with your dentist.

Useful video about complete removable prosthetics

With the complete absence of teeth, there are two ways to solve the problem:

  • implantation followed by prosthetics or
  • complete removable denture.

By installing several inexpensive mini-implants, you can make a comfortable compact removable prosthesis with excellent fixation.
With the help of classical implantation, we can provide the patient with fixed prosthetics, which means comfort and feeling of their own teeth in the oral cavity. To do this, it is enough for us to place 4-6 implants on the jaw, which is quite enough for a fixed construction. This is not an easy job that requires high qualifications from the implantologist, orthopedist and dental technician. Of course, this type of prosthetics is considered the most expensive, but the result is worth it. You get the most natural and fully functional result.
There are cases when implantation is impossible for certain reasons. In this case, we make a complete removable denture. This type of prosthetics is more budgetary and ranges from 31,400 rubles, but it requires the patient to get used to it, which takes from 3 to 7 days. You can also make a nylon prosthesis, which is much more comfortable than conventional plastic ones. Its cost starts from 47,100 rubles.

Options for prosthetics in the complete absence of teeth

Modern dentistry offers several options for the rehabilitation of patients with complete absence of teeth.

Comfortable removable prosthesis

The main discomfort that patients experience when using complete removable dentures arises from poor fixation of the prosthesis in the oral cavity. Any ordinary complete removable denture rests on a soft gum and is held on it only by vacuum, simply by sticking to soft tissues.

When chewing and talking, the mobility of the prosthesis occurs, and it can lose vacuum fixation and be reset. Difficulties arise with diction, food particles get under the prosthesis, painful injuries occur on the gums in the places where the prosthesis fits.
Many patients who wear complete removable dentures complain about their bulkiness due to the overlap of large areas of the gums and especially the palate with the denture.
To improve the fixation of complete dentures, patients are forced to use a special adhesive to help hold the denture. Glue is difficult to wash off the prosthesis and gums, can cause allergic reactions.

Here is what patients would like to change about complete dentures:

Improve fixation
Open the palate
Make the prosthesis smaller
Get rid of permanent chafing

We have a solution!

In order to get rid of discomfort when using full dentures, you need to put a few inexpensive mini-implants.
No gum incisions! 30 minutes and you're done!
The prosthesis is securely held in place during eating and talking, does not rub the gums. The open palate creates additional comfort and does not distort diction.
Everything is very simple and affordable!

The procedure for making removable dentures based on implants is very simple:

Fixation of the prosthesis to mini-implants.
Teaching the patient the proper use and hygiene of a removable denture.

All is ready!
The patient receives a comfortable removable prosthesis directly on the day of implant placement and can immediately start using it.
So, the entire procedure for making a removable prosthesis based on mini-implants, including the installation of the implants themselves, takes about two weeks.

We use only proven mini-implants from the Italian manufacturer C-TECH, as well as exclusively high-quality and certified materials and components for the manufacture of a removable prosthesis.

Variants of removable dentures on mini-implants

Removable prosthesis on 2 implants
Such a prosthesis can only be made on the lower jaw. 2 implants - the minimum number to ensure the fixation of a removable prosthesis.

Removable prosthesis on 4 implants
This type of prosthesis is the most optimal and versatile option for the lower and upper jaw. 4 implants provide excellent fixation of the prosthesis and even distribution of masticatory loads.

Removable prosthesis on 6 implants
This type of prosthesis is ideal for the upper jaw. The bone tissue of the upper jaw is softer and more pliable than the lower jaw. 6 implants provide an ideal distribution of the masticatory load and the durability of the entire structure.

Complete removable denture

The simplest and most budgetary option to restore teeth in their complete absence is a complete removable denture. It can be made of acrylic or non-acrylic plastic (or nylon).

Removable dentures made of non-acrylic plastic "AkriFree" are stronger than classic full dentures. They rarely have cracks or chips. At the same time, they are thinner and lighter, and, accordingly, more comfortable than acrylic plastic prostheses.

The cost of complete removable dentures

Removable implant-supported bar-retained prosthesis

This type of removable prosthesis is the most convenient and reliable among all the options for removable prosthetics in the complete absence of teeth.
The process of manufacturing such a prosthesis requires special knowledge and skills from both the doctor and the dental technician. High-precision equipment is needed for the manufacture of a beam structure and its milling.
The beam fixing structure consists of two parts: the beam itself, which is attached to dental implants, and plastic matrices, which are in a removable prosthesis.
To ensure the correct distribution of the masticatory load under the beam structure, it is recommended to install 4 implants, which are located in the frontal region of the jaw.

Advantages Removable prosthesis with bar fixation on dental implants:

1. Excellent fixation. The beam securely holds the prosthesis in a fixed state, which creates special comfort for the patient.
2. Proper distribution of loads. The beam structure evenly and optimally distributes chewing loads on all 4 dental implants, due to which the implants are not overloaded, the bone around them does not suffer.
3. Strength. Removable prosthesis with beam fixation has a metal frame, which gives the prosthesis special strength and durability.
4. Comfort. The beam structure firmly holds the removable denture and does not require additional fixation due to the vacuum cushion. This allows you to make the prosthesis itself with a minimum amount of plastic. Most of the gums and palate remain open. Diction is not disturbed, taste sensations remain unchanged.

Fixed ceramic-metal prosthesis based on dental implants

For the manufacture of a fixed prosthesis in the complete absence of teeth, it is necessary to place at least 4 dental implants in a special way, which will serve as a support for the fixed prosthesis.
Of course, a non-removable ceramic-metal construction is much more convenient than a removable prosthesis, because it imitates the feeling of having one's own teeth quite well. The non-removable ceramic-metal structures do not have plastic parts, which makes them very compact and easy to use. Gingival deficiency is filled with ceramics, which are painted in the color of natural gums.

Advantages non-removable metal-ceramic prosthesis on implants:

1. Comfort. The prosthesis does not need to be removed. Diction is not broken even for a minute. Taste sensations are not disturbed. The gums and palate are completely open.
2. Strength. Metal-ceramic prostheses have a high-strength chrome-cobalt frame, which is not subject to fractures and deformation. Metal-ceramic dentures are very durable and strong.
3. Aesthetics. Metal-ceramic allows you to quite well imitate the natural aesthetics of teeth and gums. A highly qualified dental technician can make the transition from natural gums to artificial gums almost imperceptible.

Fixed prosthesis based on zirconium dioxide based on dental implants

This type of prosthetics in the absence of teeth is the most progressive, innovative, biocompatible, comfortable and aesthetic of all types of rehabilitation for a patient with hollow adentia (absence of teeth).
Zirconium dioxide combines high strength, exceeding the strength of metal, and at the same time - lightness of construction, the weight of which is several times less than that of metal. The aesthetic properties of zirconium dioxide, its translucency and depth identical to a natural tooth make it possible to make the prosthesis "live", absolutely natural.

By the principle of fixation, a non-removable zirconium prosthesis is similar to a metal-ceramic prosthesis, and in all other parameters it is many times superior to it. It really is the best of the best!
