• if the wind blows on the Annunciation - wait for a good harvest;
• a thunderstorm on the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos - to the summer heat and a generous harvest of nuts;
• downpour on the Annunciation - to a huge amount of wheat and rye.

In addition, when the Annunciation is celebrated, there is an interesting popular belief: if the sutra on the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos is driven from the perch with a broom, then they will lay many eggs on Easter.

On the Annunciation, signs are also connected with the daily life of people. According to them, people determined prosperity, luck and family life for the next year.

• on the feast of the Annunciation, nothing should be given to anyone - otherwise poverty will come to the house. It is believed that if you give anything from home to the Annunciation, it means spending family peace and peace on strangers;

• also, on the feast of the Annunciation, you cannot wear new clothes, otherwise it will tear, get dirty or deteriorate;
• on which day of the week the Annunciation falls, it is not recommended to start any new business that whole year. For example, if the feast of the Annunciation fell on a Thursday, then new cases are not taken on any Thursday throughout the year;
• with the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, you can’t sow anything, otherwise you can invite a crop failure. In addition, there is a superstition that on which day the Annunciation holiday happens, that day is considered bad for crops and plowing, and the day following it is the most successful and happy.
