Fallout 4 lost the ps4 dog. Similar problems with other satellites

In total, there are thirteen different characters in our outstanding game, with the help of which you will be able to pass the tests much easier and more fun by taking one of them to your place. Well, if suddenly, a new friend suddenly disappears, leaving you alone, do not rush to despair, because with the help of the information below, under any circumstances, it will be possible to return him.

Each player, in the process of passing various throughout the Commonwealth, sooner or later, will face a problem when his companion disappears. It is very simple to explain such a mysterious and undesirable phenomenon: it happens because of your inattention (for example, a gamer accidentally forgot which location he sent his faithful partner to).

Most often lost. It is possible to return a companion to your team using one of three options, at your discretion: the first is to build a dog house to find Dog's favorite pet, according to the second, you need to raise a bell, and the third says that you can use console commands.

Raise the bell

This option is the easiest for such an important mission as the return of a comrade. This can be done within one settlement. Having built the desired bell, ring it and see the unreal: all the characters who are at your base at that moment, at the call of a loud sound, will immediately gather around it, including the partners you so wanted to see. The desired bell is in the workshop (section called "Resources" - "Miscellaneous"). Perhaps the player will be surprised by the fact that four units of wood and steel are enough to create such a complex element.

If the dog is missing

In order for your Dog to always be near you and never get lost, you need to do one simple thing - build a booth for her, where the shepherd will always be, sitting in it or walking somewhere nearby. It is worth noting the fact that there should be only one booth in the settlement. This is done so that the player knows exactly where to find a partner. Let's give an example in such a famous post-war place as Sanctuary Hills, in which there are many of them, but, in the end, there should be only one left, of your choice. If you decide to build a booth, go to the section "Decorations" - "Miscellaneous", there is all the information and the necessary instructions. You also need to have in your arsenal three units of wood and only one steel.

In the case when the player sent his partner to one of the many settlements, but accidentally forgot which one, but there is no time and desire to go around each one and build bells, or if it happened that you instructed the companion to wait in a long-forgotten where you are, the console will certainly help. Opening it is very simple, just press the key you know on the keyboard " ~ “Then get down to business. If nothing works out, you should not give up, because in our game everything is thought out in the highest way: each partner has his own ID, which is a kind of beacon, with the help of which a friend is exactly located.

There are in the game that you can take as companions. If your partner is missing, then you can easily find him - just follow our advice.

When traveling through the Commonwealth with a companion, you will inevitably encounter a situation where you cannot find your companion. For example, you released your partner, but forgot what location you sent him to. Or you want to find it, but for some reason it is nowhere to be found.

There are three options to find the missing character: build a bell, erect a dog house to search for Doggie, or use console commands.

Build a bell

This is the easiest way to find all companions within the same settlement - when you ring the bell, all the characters in your base gather around it. Including partners.

You can find the bell in the workshop, section "Resources" - "Miscellaneous". As you can see, it only takes 4 units of wood and steel to create it.

If the dog is missing

To never lose Doggie, build a booth for her - the dog will always lie in it or walk next to it. Moreover, there should be one booth in the settlement in order to know exactly where to look for a shepherd dog. For example, there are several of them, but you need to leave only one.

The construction of the booth is available through the workshop in the "Decorations" - "Miscellaneous" section. To build a dog house, you need three units of wood and one unit of steel.

Using the console

It happens that you sent a character to a settlement, but forgot which one. And there is no desire to bypass them all and build bells there. Or, for example, you accidentally instructed a companion to wait for you, but do not remember where it was. In this case, the console will help (to open it, press the ~ key on the keyboard).

If you can't find a partner, then know that in Fallout 4 each satellite has its own ID by which it can be found.

  1. Kate ID: 00079305
  2. Codesworth ID:0001ca7d
  3. Curie ID: 00102249
  4. Paladin Dance ID: 0005de4d
  5. Deacon ID: 00045ac9
  6. Dog ID: 0001d162
  7. John Hancock ID: 00022615
  8. Robert McCready ID:0002a8a7
  9. Nick Valentine ID: 00002f25
  10. Piper ID: 0002f1f
  11. Preston Garvey ID: 0001a4d7
  12. Strongman ID:0003f2bb
  13. X6-88 ID: 0002e210a

There are two options for using companion IDs, with which you can either move to a partner or move him to yourself.

player.moveto id- this console command will move the player to the companion. For example:

Psina (in Russian translation simply “Dog”) is a special satellite who can accompany you on your travels in the Commonwealth. Dogmeat will be one of the first companions you meet when leaving the hideout.

Like other companions, Dogmeat can support you in battle, carry equipment and carry out commands, but, unlike humans, he will not change his attitude towards you, no matter what decisions you make. The dog will always be with you, unless you yourself want to part with it.

Dogmeat is found in Red Rocket Truck Depot and immediately becomes available as a companion.

Biography

As such, Dogmeat has no backstory. We just meet her at the truck stop, with no trace of the old owner around. However, Murphy, in one of the dialogues, says that the owner of this dog was with them for some time, but disappeared after he was sent in search of help.

The battle

The dog cannot use weapons, but in combat he will try to bite his teeth into the enemy in order to immobilize him and make him an easier target. Some abilities will give you a bonus to attacks against immobilized enemies.

Satellite menu

With a few exceptions, Psina performs all the same functions as a regular satellite. You can exchange items with him, put certain items of equipment on him (bandanas, collars, etc.) and give him commands.

You can read more about interaction with satellites on the Satellites page.

What sets Psina apart from the rest is the content of the menu. Press [Up Arrow] to interact with it. The following options are available:

  • [Arrow up] - order to search the area for useful items;
  • [Down arrow] - ask to show a trick;
  • [Right arrow] - end the dialogue.
  • [Left arrow] - break up.

When parting with Dogmeat, you can order him to wait for you at the workshop in one of the friendly settlements. Otherwise, he will return to his home.

Sympathies

Unlike other companions, Dogmeat is always happy with her master, and no matter what crimes or immoral acts you do, she will always be with you.

Unique ability (perk)

Like other companions, Dogmeat has a unique ability, but it seems that unlike other companions, her ability works immediately, by default (not tested).

Most Fallout 4 fans already know that the dog can be found in the Red Rocket truck stop location, where it will approach the Survivor when it is in its zone of attention. However, often players are faced with the fact that Dog disappears while completing one of the quests or changing it to another partner. In addition, the dog from Fallout 4 can also disappear if you leave it wounded in one of the locations full of enemies: in this case, it will go to one of the settlements, but it’s clear where exactly you can find it to take it as a partner again far from always.

Experienced Fallout 4 players offer several ways to find a dog in Fallout 4 after losing it.

1. The easiest way is to build the Vault-Tec Population Management System added in the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC. This object is located in the menu section Food –> Miscellaneous.

You can interact with the System in the same way as with a regular terminal. Activate the device, and then select "Spy on VIPs" in the main menu, you will see a list of partners with whom you have already met. Next, you need to select Psina from this list. The Pip-boy will have the task "The Caretaker's Best Friends" with a pointer to the dog.

If you send Psina to the settlement, then when the task "The caretaker's best friends" is activated before she arrives at the location, the dog will appear at a random point on the caravan route to the specified settlement. It will not work to use fast movement to catch up with the dog, since during this time Dog will continue to move and may already reach another location.

2. If you do not have the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC installed, but you remember exactly which settlement the dog was sent to, look for it in the local dog kennels. Please note that sometimes the dog does not immediately "get" to the location where you sent it, so you need to wait 2-3 days for it to appear there.

3. If you have not parted with the dog and it is your current partner, just move to another location, and the Dog will be next to the Survivor.

4. During the story quest, the dog itself will be next to the Survivor. During the "Revelation" quest, Nick Valentine will offer to use Dogmeat to attack the trail, the dog will be waiting for the main character outside the door. In the task "Reunion", the dog will lead the protagonist to Kellogg in Fort Hagen.

5. Sometimes the dog stays in the same settlement where you changed it to another partner, and either sits in one of the booths or stands still.

6. Also, the dog may head to his native Red Rocket truck stop, where you first met him. This may be due to the fact that you did not specify which settlement to go to Dogmeat, but simply accidentally pressed Tab. In this case, each partner returns to his house: Piper - to the editorial office, Nick Valentine - to his detective agency, Doggie to the Red Rocket parking lot, etc.

This is a very convenient way to never lose your partners, because it is much easier to find, for example, Piper in the office than to look for her throughout the settlement. So when you change partners and the game asks you where you want to send your old friend, just press Tab.

7. You can also find a dog lost in a large location (for example, Sanctuary Hills) by ringing a bell in order to call all the settlers. You can create a bell in build mode.

8. In Sanctuary Hills, a dog can sit in a booth that is located behind one of the houses. In this settlement, initially there are three booths located in not the most successful places. In order not to search them all every time you need a Dog, it is better to immediately move them to a place convenient for you. Dogs that you bought from the seller and sent to the settlement can also sit in these booths.

9. The easiest way to find a dog in Fallout 4 is to use the console:

"prid 0001d162" - object selection,

"moveto player" - his teleportation to the player.

However, in some cases, the teleported dog, having appeared for a moment, immediately runs away from the Survivor, heading to the settlement where it should be, for example, the Red Rocket parking lot.

10. In this situation, it is better to use a different code for the console:

player.moveto 0001d162

It will take the player to the dog.
