Vegetovascular dystonia: how can you get rid of forever at home? Vegetative-vascular dystonia (VVD). Symptoms, causes, types and treatment of VVD

VVD is not considered an independent disease, but rather a set of signs - symptoms of other pathological processes.

As for the classification, there is no consensus.

But depending on the transformations of the cardiovascular system and pressure, the IRR is divided into these types:

  1. normotensive(cardiac cardiac) type. It is manifested by pain in the heart and a violation of the heart rhythm.
  2. hypertensive type. It manifests itself in increased pressure, regardless of the state (stress or rest).
  3. hypotensive type. It is characterized by low blood pressure with weakness and a tendency to faint.

Depending on the predominant activity sympathetic or parasympathetic department of the autonomic nervous system, there are: sympathicotonic, parasympathicotonic and mixed types of VSD.

By the nature of the flow it can be: permanent (signs are constantly present, more often with hereditary inclinations), paroxysmal (vegetative seizures) or latent (hidden).

Causes of the disease

To the main causes of VVD relate:

  • hereditary tendency;
  • endocrine changes in the body, the most striking example is hormonal changes during puberty;
  • diseases of the endocrine system (thyroid gland, adrenal glands, gonads);
  • stress, distress;
  • organic lesions of the brain (trauma, tumor processes, strokes).

Symptoms characteristic of VVD

Main:

  • fast fatiguability;
  • feeling of anxiety with rapid heartbeat;
  • feeling of tightness in the chest;
  • heartache;
  • disorders of the intestines and gastrointestinal tract;
  • increased sweating;
  • rises in temperature, which are difficult to explain, a feeling of a lump in the throat;
  • decreased motivation;
  • shortness of breath, numbness of hands and feet;
  • paresthesia, a feeling of "crawling", meteosensitivity.

Vegetative-vascular dystonia exhausts the patient. Often, doctors write off VVD complaints for gastritis, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, asthma, and thyroid dysfunction.

Vegetovascular dystonia is a dysfunction of the nervous system, which is characterized by a general deterioration in the patient's well-being. Classified as out...

Diagnostic methods

Diagnose VVD difficult, since there is no equipment or tests that can make such a diagnosis. This disease can only be identified by the sum of the symptoms.

First of all, when diagnosing vegetative-vascular dystonia, it is important to exclude purely somatic, neurological, and endocrine diseases.

The state of the nervous system is determined based on the vegetative tone, reactivity and provision of activity.

These components are evaluated based on on the patient's complaints, ECG data and cardiointervalography. In the diagnosis of VVD, an important role is played by EEG, EchoEG, REG, rheovasography, which allows assessing the functional state of the central nervous system, identifying changes in cerebral and peripheral vessels, and intracranial hypertension.

In case of rhythm and conduction disturbances, changes in the ST segment on the ECG, the necessary pharmacological tests, Holter monitoring of the ECG, etc. are performed. In case of vegetative-vascular dystonia, consultations of a neurologist, ENT doctor, oculist, endocrinologist, and in some cases, a psychiatrist are necessary.

Since VVD is not a nosological form of the disease, but the result of dysfunction of brain structures, lesions of the endocrine glands, internal organs, etc., in the first place when making a diagnosis etiological factor is put(if detected), which contributes to targeted therapy.

Differential diagnosis makes it possible to exclude diseases that have symptoms similar to vegetative-vascular dystonia. In the presence of cardiac complaints, with changes in the heart, it is necessary to exclude rheumatism, which has sufficiently characteristic diagnostic signs.

At the same time, signs of connective tissue dysplasia should be taken into account, the clinical manifestations of which in the aggregate resemble not only rheumatic heart disease, but also congenital heart defects, non-rheumatic carditis.

If high blood pressure is detected, it is necessary to exclude the presence of primary and symptomatic arterial hypertension.

Respiratory disorders(shortness of breath, asthma attacks) that occur during crises in children with VVD are often differentiated from bronchial asthma.

In the presence of febrile reactions, it is necessary to exclude an acute infectious disease, sepsis, infective endocarditis, as well as oncological pathology. In the presence of psychovegetative symptoms, it is important to exclude mental disorders.

Treatment of VVD of various forms

Treatment for vegetative-vascular dystonia should be comprehensive, long-term, taking into account the characteristics of vegetative disorders and their etiology.

Preference is given to non-drug methods. They include normalization of the daily routine, elimination of physical inactivity, dosed physical activity, limitation of emotional influences (TV shows, computer games), individual and family psychological correction, as well as regular and rational nutrition.

What does it show and is it possible to independently decipher the results of the study.

From a headache, the drug Betaserk will help, instructions for use for which, the pros and cons of the drug and other interesting information are in our material.

Treatment Goals

aim VVD treatment is to overcome internal discomfort, improve the overall health and quality of life of the patient. Thus, it is possible not only to eliminate the root causes of the disease, but also to prevent relapses.

Lifestyle Features

The question of how to cure vegetative vascular dystonia is not worth it until the patient completely changes his lifestyle.

There are several provisions:

  • proper nutrition;
  • sports;
  • exclusion of smoking and alcohol;
  • reduction in the amount of stress.

Diet for vegetative-vascular dystonia, as a rule, not assigned: the patient can eat whatever he wants, as long as it does not harm other organs.

Avoiding alcohol is especially important in the treatment of VVD.

Physical activity is very important, as it helps to regulate the activity of blood vessels at the muscle level and releases stress.

Physiotherapy, massage

Treatment of VVD for hypotonic, hypertonic, mixed and other types should be started with such procedures: acupuncture, water procedures, physiotherapy (laser puncture, magnetopuncture, vacuum therapy, electrical stimulation), therapeutic massage.

A very effective method of therapy is considered massage. This procedure performs several functions at once: it tones the blood vessels and relieves nervous tension.

Medical treatment

In the treatment of VSD drugs are prescribed to correct the functioning of the autonomic nervous system and drugs aimed at eliminating symptoms from organs and systems.

To improve memory processes, reduce the excitability of the nervous system, it is advisable to take this amino acid improves metabolism in the brain, as a result of which the astheno-neurotic component of dystonia is noticeably reduced. In addition, the use of nootropics with a sedative effect is justified.

If tachyarrhythmia occurs with vegetative vascular dystonia, then treatment is indicated potassium preparations, barboval, corvalol, corvaldin.

Homeopaths for the treatment of VVD, cardio-gran, pumpan, cralonin, neurochel, etc. can be prescribed. These drugs have a sedative, vasodilating and antispasmodic effect.

With an increase in blood pressure and tachycardia, reserpine and β-blockers can be used.

Often dystonia is accompanied by neuroses. tranquilizers help reduce anxiety, fear, tension, normalize sleep, a number of them have an anticonvulsant effect.

In addition, they have a vegetotropic property, have a positive effect on functional extrasystoles and cardialgia, arterial pressure lability.

If sleep is disturbed, hypnotics are used, but they should not be taken for long, since hypnotics cannot provide physiological rest.

Herbs for VVD

If medications for the treatment of VVD did not help, you can use folk remedies medicine:

  1. Adonis spring(spring adonis). Raw materials - grass (stems, leaves, flowers) and unripe fruits. The herb contains the cardiac glycosides cymarin, adonitoxin, flavone glycoside, adonivernite, several other cardiac glycosides, saponins, adonite alcohol, phytosterol, and mineral salts. Therapeutic effect: excites and regulates the activity of the heart, dilates the blood vessels of the heart and kidneys, enhances heart contractions, evens out the rhythm of the heart and eliminates congestion. The plant is poisonous, use with caution only as directed by a doctor.
  2. Anise ordinary. Raw materials - mature fruits (seeds). They contain fatty oil and essential oil, including anethole, methyl salvicol, acetaldehyde. It has an expectorant, stimulating intestinal activity, carminative and calming effect, lowers blood pressure, temperature, helps to overcome depression during stress.
  3. orange sweet. Raw materials - fruits, fruit peel, flowers. It is used for fears, nervous tension, depression, decreased appetite, feverish conditions, hypertension, atherosclerosis, liver disease, obesity, hypertension, gout, scurvy, as well as for excessively heavy menstruation and other uterine bleeding, taken to calm the nervous system.

How to treat VVD by different types

Consider two main types of VSD

hypertonic type

Hypertensive type of dystonia characterized by high blood pressure and an increase in heart rate. This causes headaches and heartbeat, pulsation of vessels in the periphery.

At the same time, vascular hypertonicity increases the risk of stroke in elderly patients. This means that the hyperkinetic type of dystonia can lead to hypertension. Therefore, the treatment of VVD according to the hypertensive type of treatment is also preventive.

Vegetative-vascular dystonia of the brain (cerebral form) needs pharmacological treatment. The following pharmacological groups are used for therapy drugs:

  • beta-blockers (sotalol, metoprolol, bisoprolol, atenolol);
  • ACE inhibitors (enalapril, berlipril, lisinopril);
  • calcium channel blockers (amlodipine, diltiazem, nifedipine);
  • sedatives (tinctures of hawthorn, corvalol, sedavit);
  • vitamin complexes and antioxidants;
  • antiarrhythmics as indicated.

These drugs correct the work of the heart, cut the heart rate.

Treatment of VVD by hypotonic type

Few remedies have been developed for the treatment of the hypokinetic type of dystonia, because the pathology is not so common. However, this form also needs treatment. The following are shown for use. drugs:

  • m-anticholinergics (atropine);
  • methylxanthines (eufillin, theophylline);
  • vitamins and antioxidants;
  • coffee, strong tea twice a day, green tea (due to caffeine).

In the question of how to cure vegetative-vascular dystonia of the hypotonic type, it is difficult to find a solution, this form of the disease often proceeds benignly.

Especially rarely is it necessary to treat such a pathology as vegetative-vascular dystonia in adolescents and children, as well as pregnant women.

Things to Remember

Vegetative dystonia - it's a syndrome, for the effective treatment of which it is necessary to find out exactly the root cause of its occurrence.

The final statement about the presence of autonomic dystonia syndrome with manifestations of the cardiovascular, gastroenteric, thermoregulatory or respiratory systems is made only after the exclusion of organ pathology from these systems.

Disease prevention

Prevention of VVD in adults, first of all, is to normalize daily activities, giving up bad habits and mastering self-regulation skills. An important role in the timely prevention of various kinds of hormonal disorders.

Those who have noticed at least once a year manifestations of VVD should carry out treatment and prevention courses(acupuncture, exercise therapy, massage, herbal medicine, classes in psychological support groups).

The objective of prevention is to prevent exacerbations and improve the patient's well-being.

VVD is dangerous due to the complexity of diagnosis. It is often installed at advanced stages, when medical treatment is already needed. That is why it is so important to carry out independent prevention of the disease.

Video: How to cure vegetative vascular dystonia

How to alleviate the condition with VSD. It is enough just to master your body - play sports, be able to relax, eat right. As well as specific exercises from a professional.

If a patient has a pathology such as vegetovascular dystonia, it is also possible to get rid of it forever at home. According to the ICD10 classification, VSD includes several varieties. VVD is not even a disease, but rather a syndrome that develops against the background of already existing diseases. Treatment of this pathology should be carried out in a complex manner, since its occurrence is based on many causative factors.

There are a number of factors that predispose to the development of VSD:

  • hereditary predisposition;
  • Bad habits (smoking and alcohol);
  • Endocrine diseases (often associated with thyroid problems);
  • Chronic fatigue;
  • stress;
  • Change of the climatic zone;
  • head trauma;
  • Hormonal disbalance.

How to treat vegetative-vascular dystonia

In order to properly treat VVD, it is first important to find out what type of dystonia the patient has. After all, depending on the clinical manifestations, the treatment will differ significantly.

Adrenal type

It is based on an attack of an increase in the level of adrenaline in the blood, and clinically this will be manifested by the following symptoms:

  • An attack of rapid heartbeat;
  • Hand tremor;
  • Excitability and nervousness;
  • Severe, sometimes throbbing headache;
  • High blood pressure;
  • Cold extremities;
  • Panic fear.

How to relieve such unpleasant symptoms during an attack? To do this, a person needs to activate the vagus nerve. To do this, you need to use reflex techniques:

  1. Take a deep breath and hold your breath for a few seconds, exhale as smoothly and slowly as possible, repeat several times;
  2. Perform light pressure movements on the eyeballs;
  3. Massage the places above the collarbones.

If these methods are ineffective, you can switch to medications and take validol, corvalol, valerian, propranolol. Last but not least, diazepam.

Vagoinsular type

This type of attack will manifest itself with the following signs:

  • Dizziness;
  • Weakness;
  • Darkening in the eyes;
  • Diarrhea;
  • Low pressure up to loss of consciousness.

To get rid of such a vegetative crisis, you need:

  1. Perform intensive massage of points on the feet;
  2. Rub your ears;
  3. Drink tea with sugar;
  4. Take corvalol.

If an attack of mixed type vascular dystonia occurs (when the clinic has symptoms characteristic of both types), treatment should be performed in accordance with the prevailing complaints.

How to treat VSD at home

VVD is treated only at home and this process is lengthy, and the result of such treatment depends entirely on the patient.

Non drug therapy

This treatment includes the following activities:

Normalization of the regime of work and rest

The patient needs to allocate time for sleep at least 8 hours a day. Moreover, sleep should be complete. Create all the conditions for this: low pillows, a fairly hard mattress, the absence of extraneous noise, as well as walks before going to bed will allow you to fully relax. Also, try to go to bed and get up at the same time.

Avoid the influence of stress

Do what you love more often, find a hobby for yourself. Try to respond calmly to any provoking factors.

Get rid of bad habits

Alcohol, smoking and coffee in large quantities adversely affect the nervous system, causing its excessive irritation and overexcitation. And smoking does terribly damage the walls of blood vessels, making them brittle and unable to adequately respond to changes in the level of hormones in the blood.

Eat rationally

Increase the amount of vegetables and fruits in your diet, as they contain a large amount of beneficial vitamins and minerals. Limit fried, fatty and overly salty and spicy foods in your meals.

go in for sports

Go to workouts. They improve the nervous state and the functioning of your cardiovascular system. Yoga and Pilates are best suited for relaxing the mind and body.

Drug treatment

The following groups of medicines are used:

  • Antidepressants (eg, persen, novo-passit);
  • At low pressure, preparations containing caffeine are indicated;
  • With hypertension, it is advisable to prescribe adrenoblockers that reduce pressure and normalize the pulse;
  • With severe headache, you can use NSAIDs (ibuprofen, nimesulide);
  • Vitamins and mineral complexes.

Treatment of VVD folk remedies

Traditional medicine has been tested for more than one century, and therefore can also be used to treat vascular dystonia.

The course of treatment will take about 4 weeks, after a break of a week it can be repeated.
Recipe 1
Ingredients:

  • Cowberry and bearberry leaves - 20 g each;
  • Rose petals - 10 g;
  • Rose hips - 40 g;
  • Horsetail and strawberries - 60 g.

Mix all the ingredients and add half a liter of boiling water. Boil this broth (without boiling) for half an hour. Set aside and strain with gauze. Drink 150 ml per day.
Recipe 2
Ingredients:

  • Hop cones, motherwort, oregano, cumin, mint, lemon balm, hawthorn inflorescences - all 0.5 tsp each;
  • Mistletoe, St. John's wort, chamomile, sweet clover, calendula, valerian, dill grains, yarrow, wormwood - 2 tsp each.

Mix all these ingredients. Pour one tablespoon of this mixture with half a liter of boiling water. Infuse for 30 minutes, strain. Drink 1 glass 3 times a day for 20 days. You need to be patient, as this course must be repeated 4 times with breaks of 1 week. On the 3rd and 4th course of treatment, you need to brew 2 tablespoons of the mixture.

Ingredients:

  • Rose hips - 40 g;
  • Barberry;
  • Blackcurrant - 20 g;
  • Nettle and lungwort - 30 g each.

After you mix all the ingredients, pour 2 tablespoons of the mixture into 400 ml of boiling water. Let it brew for four hours, after tightly closing the vessel. Strain the drink, take 100 ml three times a day before meals.

In addition to recipes that you can cook at home on your own, folk treatment of dystonia includes ready-made tinctures that can be purchased at a pharmacy: motherwort, valerian, hawthorn.

Whatever folk remedy you choose to treat VVD, you should definitely consult with your doctor.

Conclusion

Thus, whether you are treating a vegetative crisis or are planning to get rid of this pathology, a lot depends on the patient. It is possible to cure VVD at home, it is not difficult, but it requires stable implementation of prescriptions and a responsible attitude of the patient.

Belyaeva V.I., 72 years old

I suffered from chronic pain for 8 months, in the clinic and hospital they dismissed or made vague diagnoses, despite all the information that I provided ... Viktor Anatolyevich is a doctor who accurately diagnosed my problem in the shortest possible time. The professional skills of such a highly qualified specialist are what I have been critically lacking for a long time. Many thanks to the doctor and all the staff of the clinic!

Maklashin B.

I express my deep gratitude to the attending physician Khislavskaya Elena Vladimirovna! Long and painful trips to the district clinic and the consultation center of the Kalininsky district led to nothing, none of the doctors could make an accurate diagnosis, they did not find anything, they just shrugged, and some of them were sent to a psychotherapist. I got worse and worse. As the last hope was this clinic, I got to Elena Vladimirovna. She was so attentive to my problem, correctly diagnosed (Tittze's syndrome), prescribed treatment, and slowly I began to get out. I believe that only her sensitive attitude to the person, the desire to understand gave the result. Since the disease was started, the treatment was for 2 months and then even after discharge, recovery. Yes, it costs money, but taking into account the fact that going through compulsory medical insurance and even paid specialists from other clinics did not bring results, it is definitely worth it. I was returned to a normal life, than it can be measured! I want to say special thanks to the orthopedist Rustam Fanilievich, he did the blockade, very carefully and accurately. I also express my deep gratitude to the masseur Gubernatorov Sergey Nikolaevich, he has golden hands. And to all the staff of the clinic for their friendly and sensitive attitude!

Olga, St. Petersburg

I express my gratitude to the staff of the clinic for the respectful and attentive attitude towards patients. I would like to separately thank such doctors as Soboleva Svetlana Nikolaevna, Kustova Marina Anatolyevna, Akhmadullina Tamara Nurievna, Chernov Andrey Alexandrovich for their professionalism, kindness of heart and great skill. It is a great happiness that such competent, skillful and talented, caring people work exactly where they are most needed. I wish prosperity and well-being to your clinic and the specialists who work in it.

Kudryavtseva Natalya Pavlovna, 65 years old

She underwent a course of treatment at the "Workshop of Health" and in particular with Stanislav Vladimirovich. I want to express my deep gratitude for the help rendered to me, for the golden hands. A very attentive and sensitive doctor, taking into account my diagnosis (hernias, protrusions, etc.), applied soft techniques and after each session my state of health improved and my life got better, I could not wait to see him so that he would alleviate my suffering. Stanislav Vladimirovich thank you very much, I will definitely recommend you to those who need the same help.

Love

She was treated by Lisina E.A. Very satisfied. She saved me from a nervous breakdown, healed me. Problems with the hip joints. She prescribed plasma therapy. I am very grateful to her. All clinic staff are polite and attentive. All medical staff are excellent workers. I am very grateful to all the staff of the Health Workshop. I also thank Alexander Sergeevich Kryukov, who immediately understood my condition and handed me over to E.A. Lisina.

Kharevich Lyudmila Vladimirovna

Doctor Kryukov Alexander Sergeevich. Thank you for your advice and treatment. Very competent, knowledgeable and caring doctor. Thank you!

Pleskovskaya Elena Vyacheslavovna

I would like to sincerely thank the entire team of the Health Workshop at 224B Moskovsky Ave. Absolutely everything: both doctors and administrators are very attentive and professional. I received the treatment that I wanted to receive. I will definitely apply again to maintain my current - very good condition - of the musculoskeletal system. I would especially like to thank the neurologist Lisina E.A., the hirudotherapist Lapin G.V., the chiropractor Daskovsky S.V. and physiotherapist Gvirdzhishvili D.T. It's just a pleasure to meet and work with them. Thank you!

I want to thank Stanislav Vladimirovich for his professionalism, humanity and sensitive attention to patients. A huge thank you to this doctor! Stanislav Vladimirovich is simply a super-doctor, if only there were more such knowledgeable doctors.

Larisa Ivleva

Here is my saving circle - "Health Workshop": my legs do not walk, my back hurts, my head is ringing. I accidentally heard about this clinic on the radio and this is the second time I visit it. I enter and find myself in the kingdom of silence, peace and hope, if not cured, then at least improve my condition. Lovely, charming girls-consultants meet you with kind greetings. They patiently listen to your questions, fill out the necessary documents and escort you to the attending physician. During the waiting period, they offer to watch reference videos on TV, drink a cup of coffee or tea. And all fears behind! Thank you, dear friends. Without your well-coordinated work, attentive, friendly attitude towards the patient, there would not have been such an effect from the visit. And here is the first meeting with the doctor. I was lucky and I think others are as well. I met a real magician who, with just one word, gave me the confidence that I needed to be treated. This is Egorov Vladimir Leonidovich. Who in our district polyclinics would talk to a patient for an hour? Nobody! And Vladimir Leonidovich listened to me carefully, explained the essence of the disease - osteoporosis of the spine, and then selected the necessary treatment for the same amount of time. I am grateful to you, dear doctor, I congratulate you on the coming New Year and wish you health and creative success. With the same wonderful doctors, professionals in their field, very kind and attentive, I talked during the procedures. These are Alekhintseva Svetlana Evgenievna, Stepanova Elena Anatolyevna, Akhmadullina Tamara Nuriyevna, exercise therapy doctor and, of course, chiropractor Rakhmatov Tolmas Turaevich. This is a doctor from God. His warm hands do wonders. Thank you all for your conscientious work and respect for ordinary people. I want to say a special thank you to all the staff of the treatment room. The work of nurses and a nurse cannot be compared with anything in terms of difficulty and responsibility. And how sensitive, attentive and kind they all are... Forgive me, whom I didn't mention in my message. The whole team works just fine. Happy New Year to the entire team of the clinic! I wish you health, personal happiness, creative success, grateful patients.

Kalinova A.V.

Many thanks to Stanislav Daskovsky!!! Professional in his field with a capital letter!!! My entire spine is covered in numerous hernias and protrusions, for many years it was simply painful to walk. I went through six sessions of manual therapy and felt like a completely different person: the sharp pains were gone, my back really straightened up (I didn’t even think that I could bring the shoulder blades together again as in my youth), the lumbar region seemed to have a second wind. Take care of your hands Stanislav, they are not "simple" with you. Sincerely, Alexey Seregin.

Alexei

I want to say a big thank you to all the employees of the clinic "Health Workshop" for their attentive attitude to patients. I especially want to note my doctor Khislavskaya E.V. and manual therapist Kabailov A.A. I came to the clinic with acute pain in the groin and lower back. After complex treatment I feel much better. Thank you!

Grigoryeva Elena Leonidovna, 62 years old

I thank all the medical staff for their attention, kindness and competence. I am very grateful to everyone.

Khaygonina Lyubov Fedorovna

I thank you for your kind consideration. Special thanks to Elena Vladimirovna Khislavskaya and Angel Ankhelivich Kabailov.

Sosedova Lidia Eduardovna

I want to express my gratitude to your staff for the ability to organize attention and care for the patient.

Hello dear readers! Do you know what kind of disease such vegetative-vascular dystonia is?

This pathology has many more terms: vasomotor dystonia, angioedema, panic attack, psychovegetative syndrome, functional cardiopathy, cardiac neurosis, neurocirculatory dystonia, autonomic dysfunction, etc.

In many countries of the world, an increasing number of the population suffers from symptoms of a seemingly “non-existent” disease. However, physicians of all countries came to the same conclusion - vegetative-vascular dystonia is not some other, but a pathological condition of the body, characterized by a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system.

Now let's find out what functions the autonomic nervous system (VSD) performs. First of all, it ensures the regulation and control of the functions of all internal organs, and also helps to maintain homeostasis (the physiological balance of the internal systems of the body) and, finally, takes part in the regulation of a large number of processes of a physiological and biochemical nature.

The system is responsible for the frequency of contractions of the heart muscle (HR), the process of urine formation, sweating, heat transfer; the release of insulin and adrenaline into the blood, the activity of the digestive system, the width of the pupils and bronchi, the level of blood pressure and much more.

Summing up, it can be noted with confidence that all systems of our body are under the control of the autonomic nervous system: excretory, circulatory, endocrine, cardiovascular, digestive, and so on.

Symptoms of vegetative-vascular dystonia

Some experts argue that vegetative-vascular dystonia cannot be an independent disease, but a syndrome of some other disorder in the body: from physical or mental overwork to diseases that need treatment.

Depending on which signs predominate, VVD is divided into three types: bradycardic, tachycardic and cardiological. Cardiological (cardiac) type is expressed in the form of stabbing, sharp pain in the heart, which can occur not only during physical exertion, but also in a state of complete rest.

These pains are of a long aching nature and are repeated at regular intervals. As a rule, young people with an asthenic physique, who do not tolerate physical activity, are physically underdeveloped and untrained, are prone to cardiological syndrome.

Tachycardia syndrome affects mainly older patients. They complain about palpitations due to an increase in the number of heart contractions - more than 90 beats per minute.

The bradycardic type of IRR is much less common and is characterized by a decrease in heart rate to 40 or even lower beats per minute. In such patients, there is a pre-syncope state, they complain of dizziness, aggravated by physical exertion. The syndrome is accompanied by irritability and often changing emotional state.

Other symptoms of VVD: suspiciousness, anxiety, panic attack, sudden emotional swings, drowsiness, tinnitus, fainting, fainting, weakness, dizziness, headaches, etc.

Reasons for the development of vegetative-vascular dystonia

The main cause of the occurrence of VVD is a factor of hereditary predisposition. The formation of the personality of the child, the development of his brain and central nervous activity can be significantly affected by frequent stress and increased nervousness of the mother during pregnancy.

In adolescents and children, the development of vegetative-vascular dystonia is provoked by a sedentary lifestyle, endocrine system disorders, chronic diseases, emotional stress, and conflict situations.

As for people of mature age, they start the mechanism of VVD due to hormonal changes in the body. It is for this reason that the female sex suffers from this disease much more often than the male.

VVD diagnostics

Observing the patient, the attending physician is guided to diagnose the disease by the conclusions of other specialists - a psychotherapist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist, neurologist, otolaryngologist.

Additional studies are also carried out: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), echography, electrocardiography (ECG).

Conservative treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia

After clarifying the diagnosis, the attending physician prescribes the treatment of VVD - antidepressants and sedatives: amitriptyline, phenibut, diazepam, carbamazepine. Psychotropic drugs: sonapax, mezapam, nozepam, phenazepam, grandaxin.

Drugs that improve blood circulation: cinnarizine, pentoxifylline, nicotinic acid, vinpocetine. A complex of vitamins, primarily group B.

Currently, doctors have recognized the most effective drug for the treatment of VVD. teraligen. It has an effective and gentle effect on the VSD. At the very beginning of the appearance of signs of vegetative-vascular dystonia, there is no need to prescribe potent drugs.

Together with conservative therapy, physiotherapeutic procedures are prescribed: acupuncture, classical massage, physiotherapy exercises (exercise therapy) and water procedures.

Treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia with folk remedies

1st collection of medicinal plants against VVD

First chop, then mix four parts each of licorice and rosehip roots, three parts each of the root valerian officinalis and Hypericum perforatum, two parts of the roots of angelica and leuzea, herbs of rhodiola and mistletoe. Now dial from the collection 2 tbsp. l., place in a thermos and brew for 8-9 hours 800 ml of boiling water.

You can take at any time, regardless of the meal three times a day for half a glass of infusion in a course of two to three months.

2nd collection of medicinal herbs

The collection includes: three parts of the roots of St. John's wort, juniper, licorice naked and valerian officinalis; two parts of dandelion roots, herb volodushka and chicory. Do not forget to grind and mix all the ingredients.

Now you will need to insist 8-9 hours in a thermos, two tablespoons of table mixtures in four glasses of hot water. Method of treatment - half a glass a day three times for 2-3 months.

3rd collection of medicinal plants

This includes six parts of rose hips, four parts of birch buds and dandelion roots; two parts of meadowsweet, dioica nettle and horsetail; one weight part of elecampane roots and peppermint leaves. Prepare and take exactly the same as in the previous recipe.

4th collection for patients with hypertension

You also need to grind and mix fifteen grams of valerian roots, plantain leaves, hawthorn flowers; ten grams of common cumin seeds, peppermint leaves and common hop cones. For two cups of boiling water - a tablespoon of the mixture. Stand sixty minutes and filter. Drink three times a day, 100 ml of infusion before meals and at bedtime.

5th collection of treatment for VVD with a tendency to hypotension

This collection consists of four parts of valerian root taken, three parts of oregano, three-leaf watch, peppermint leaves; two parts of Eleutherococcus roots and fennel fruits. Brew a tablespoon of the collection with two glasses of boiling water, boil for 5-7 minutes, leave for one hour, then take 3-4 times a day for half a glass of infusion before meals.

Effective treatment of VSD with plant juices, wine, honey

The mixture included 200 g of red grape wine (best of all Cahors church), garlic juice obtained from 15 heads of medium size; 200 g of flower honey, a glass of lemon juice, radish, beets and carrots. We will be treated by taking a tablespoon of the dining room three times a day before a meal for half an hour. Continue the course until the medicine runs out.

Be healthy, God bless you!

How to treat vegetative-vascular dystonia - one of the most common diseases today. There is an ambiguous attitude towards this disease among patients. Some attribute it to diseases that do not deserve attention, while others consider themselves seriously ill and require treatment that immediately eliminates all unpleasant symptoms. And the truth, as always, lies in the middle.

What is vegetative-vascular dystonia and why does it begin

The concept of "vegetative-vascular dystonia" (VVD) is collective, it includes dysfunctions of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which innervates the internal organs and walls of blood vessels, different in origin and manifestations. ANS regulates the activity of the organs of the cardiovascular system, respiration, digestion, genitourinary organs, endocrine and immune systems, maintains a constant body temperature.

The ANS is divided into the sympathetic nervous system (SNS - it brings the work of internal organs into a state of alert caused by stress) and the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS - regulates the work of internal organs in a calm state). Normally, the work of the entire ANS is balanced. If the work of the ANS fails, this always affects the state of the internal organs. In this case, they talk about vegetative-vascular dystonia.

VSD can develop for various reasons, most often its symptoms are one of the manifestations of some other underlying disease. The cause of the appearance of VVD can be: hereditary features of the structure and functioning of the ANS, neuroendocrine disorders (hormonal disruptions associated with puberty, menopause, and so on), diseases of the endocrine glands (for example, increased thyroid function), neurosis, the effects of stress, and so on . Sometimes VVD is the result of traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, strokes.

Vegetative-vascular dystonia manifests itself in the form of various symptoms - it all depends on which parts of the ANS prevail and which internal organs and systems are involved in the process.

Against the background of constant moderate manifestations, vegetative-vascular crises can develop. If the action of the SNS prevails, a sympathetic-adrenal crisis develops: severe agitation, anxiety, trembling throughout the body, high blood pressure, tachycardia, the skin becomes covered with red spots.

If the action of the PNS prevails, depression, melancholy, profuse salivation, nausea, sweating, flatulence, loose stools, and frequent urination appear.

How to treat vegetative-vascular dystonia

Successful elimination of VVD symptoms is possible only after the identification and treatment of the underlying disease, which is the cause of vegetative-vascular disorders. To eliminate the various manifestations of VVD, symptomatic treatment is carried out.

In the treatment of VVD, non-drug treatment plays a huge role. This is a measured lifestyle, a healthy diet, physical activity appropriate for the age and condition of the patient, tempering procedures. Non-drug treatment also includes courses of psychotherapy, reflexology, spa treatment, which may include balneotherapy, mud therapy, apparatus physiotherapy, spa therapy, and so on.

How to treat vegetative-vascular dystonia

In the treatment of VVD, drugs belonging to different groups are used. Symptomatic drug therapy is prescribed strictly individually, depending on which organ function disorders predominate.

For any manifestations of VVD, sedatives are prescribed (sedatives - validol, valocordin, motherwort forte, valerian extract) drugs, nootropics (having a positive effect on metabolic processes in the brain tissue - piracetam, phenotropil) and improving cerebral circulation drugs (vinpocetine). Adaptogens (Eleutherococcus, magnolia vine, ginseng extracts) increase the body's resistance to any external influences, vitamin-mineral complexes improve metabolism, slightly increase blood pressure.

With high blood pressure and attacks of strong heartbeat, drugs are prescribed that suppress the activity of the sympathetic division of the ANS (for example, atenolol), tranquilizers (seduxen), for heart rhythm disturbances - antiarrhythmic drugs (asparkam), for swelling - diuretics (furosemide, diacarb, infusion bear ears), with high anxiety, depression, sleep disorders - antipsychotics (sonapax).

Treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia depends on the prevalence of certain symptoms. How and how to treat vegetative-vascular dystonia, only a specialist can say.
