2. Triamcinolone, which is part of the drug, is a synthetic glucocorticoid, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and desensitizing effect. Its mechanism of action is to block the release of inflammatory mediators by eosinophils, including prostaglandins, which potentiate the inflammatory process, stimulate the biosynthesis of lipocartins with anti-edematous activity, reduce the number of mast cells that produce hyaluronic acid, and reduce capillary permeability. Vitamins of group B (PP, B6, B2), succinic acid and methionine improve metabolism, accelerate tissue regeneration, and help restore the functional state of the skin. Stop-itch suspension, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).

Application order:

1. Stop-itch suspension is prescribed to dogs and cats for the treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin diseases (atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, scratching, alopecia, reactions to insect bites).
2. A contraindication to the use of Stop-itch suspension is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including history), viral diseases and diabetes.
3. Stop-itch suspension is administered to animals orally in the morning feeding with a small amount of feed or is forcibly administered using a dosing syringe 1 time per day in the following daily doses:

1. The first 4 days the drug is used at a therapeutic dose, the next 8 days - at a dose of ½ of the therapeutic dose. The course of treatment may be extended at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
2. In case of an overdose, the animal may experience depression and vomiting. 15. At the first application of the drug, in rare cases, the animal has rapidly passing hypersalivation. 16. It is not recommended to use the drug for pregnant and lactating females, as well as for puppies and kittens up to 8 weeks of age. 17. Avoid skipping the next dose of the drug, as this may lead to a decrease in effectiveness. If one dose is missed, the drug is resumed at the same dosage and according to the same scheme. 18. When using the drug in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications in animals, as a rule, are not observed. In some animals, with increased individual sensitivity, depression, salivation, and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract are possible. In these cases, the use of the drug is stopped and, if necessary, symptomatic agents are prescribed. 19. Stop itching suspension is not recommended to be used simultaneously with other drugs containing corticosteroid hormones. 20. Stop Itch Suspension is not intended for use in productive animals.

Prevention measures:

1. When working with Stop-itch suspension, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety precautions provided for when working with drugs.
2. Do not smoke, drink or eat while working. After finishing work, wash your hands with warm water and soap. It is forbidden to use empty containers from under the drug for domestic purposes, it must be disposed of with household waste.
3. In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they should be washed with plenty of running water.
