Therefore, a salad with prunes, chicken, cucumber and mushrooms in layers is considered my favorite. Step-by-step photos below will help you make it quickly and tasty. In this salad, chicken goes well with mushrooms, and prunes and cucumber give the dish a fresh aroma and piquancy. The salad is easy to prepare and layer. Each layer is soaked in mayonnaise sauce, which makes it even tastier and juicier. If this is your first time preparing this salad, I’m sure it won’t be the last time. Required Products:

- 200 grams of chicken fillet,
- 150 grams of prunes,
- 200 grams of champignons,
- 150 grams of fresh cucumbers,
- 1 onion,

For the salad we need fried mushrooms, so we wash the champignons, cut them into strips and fry them with the addition of onions. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil; you only need a little bit of it. Salt the mushrooms to make their taste richer.




You also need to work with the chicken. We boil it and lightly salt it. Then cut into small squares.




There is no special preparation for fresh cucumber. Just chop it into small cubes.




Prunes, if they are very dry, can be soaked in warm water. If the prunes are soft on their own, then immediately chop them into long strips.






Now lay out the salad in layers, covering each layer with a mesh of mayonnaise. First there is a chicken layer, then prunes, fried mushrooms and a fresh cucumber completes the composition. We also coat the top of the salad with mayonnaise. This one is very tasty too.




Let the salad soak for at least 30 minutes, and then serve.

And we will prepare a chicken salad with cucumbers and prunes. Here it is, that very combination of the incompatible, and already tested and tested. However, not only what has been tried, but also tried and appreciated.

Because the original set of ingredients has already been supplemented several times, the salad has acquired new names, but its essence has not changed. In any version, it remained, first of all, a salad with chicken, prunes and cucumber.

The so-called basic basis of all possible recipes for this salad. For it we will need the following ingredients:

  • Chicken carcass (700 grams) – 1 piece;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 3 pieces;
  • Prunes – 100 g;
  • Walnuts – 100 g;
  • Garlic, salt and pepper - at your discretion.

  • Mayonnaise mixed with sour cream - in equal proportions.

Preparation:

We steam the prunes in advance by pouring boiling water over them and leaving for about ten minutes. Boil the chicken in salted water, cool it and separate the meat from the bones.

Wash and peel the cucumbers. Then cut the meat and cucumbers into cubes, and prunes into strips.

Chop nuts and garlic. Place all the ingredients in a salad bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and sour cream and mix well.

Salad “Tenderness”

This particular recipe is on the menu of many restaurants, and it can be called completely differently, but it is always prepared in approximately the same way.

  • Boiled chicken fillet – 200 g;
  • Hard-boiled eggs - 6 pieces;
  • Prunes – 200 g;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 2 pieces;
  • Mayonnaise and salt - for dressing;
  • Walnuts and herbs - for decoration.

Preparation:

Boil and cool the chicken or part of it in advance - the breast, for example. You also need to boil the eggs and soak the prunes in advance. There is no need to fuss with prunes for a long time, just rinse and keep in warm water until they soften slightly.

Be sure to peel the cucumbers for the salad (the salad is delicate). Then cut all the ingredients except the egg yolk, herbs and nuts into small strips.

And chop the yolk with nuts and herbs (separately). Then we assemble the salad, laying it out in layers, coating the layers with mayonnaise and sprinkling with salt:

Salad "Lady's whim"

Why this name? Probably, a certain lady got capricious and decided to prepare the “Tenderness” salad a little differently.

So it turned out to be a lady's whim with chicken, prunes and cucumbers.

  • Boiled chicken breast – 500 g;
  • Hard-boiled eggs – 5 pieces;
  • Prunes – 200 g;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 3 pieces;
  • Walnuts and herbs for decoration.

For refueling:

  • Mayonnaise – 3 tablespoons;
  • Sunflower oil – 3 tablespoons;
  • Pepper and salt - a pinch each.

Preparation:
If the composition of this salad is almost identical to the previous one, then the preparation is somewhat different. Boil the chicken meat in advance or grill it, cool and cut into strips. We also cut the cucumber into strips, which we first wash, and grate the hard-boiled eggs.

We wash the prunes and cut them into halves, and chop the nuts to coarse crumbs. We also add the salad in layers, seasoning with salt and pepper:

  • cucumbers,
  • chicken,
  • prunes,
  • eggs.

Drizzle the eggs with vegetable oil and sprinkle with walnuts. And once again we lay all the layers in the same sequence.

Pour mayonnaise over the salad and decorate with herbs.

There are also completely different salad recipes called “Lady’s whim”. True, almost all of them contain chicken and nuts.

Salad "Ladies' man"

Here's another salad, which, judging by the name, is intended exclusively for ladies. And, naturally, it contains chicken, cucumbers and prunes.

  • Smoked chicken meat – 300 g;
  • Eggs – 3 pieces;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 1 piece;
  • Prunes – 100 g;
  • Fresh mushrooms – 300 g;
  • Onions – 2 heads;
  • Mayonnaise;
  • Vegetable oil.

Preparation:

Fried mushrooms are placed in this salad. To fry, peel and chop the onions, which we then place in a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry until half cooked. While the onions are frying, wash and chop the mushrooms, let them dry a little, and then add them to the onions.

We will fry the onions and mushrooms for another seven minutes. Place the finished frying in a colander to allow excess oil to drain.

And soak the prunes for fifteen minutes. In the meantime, cut the smoked chicken into cubes, grate the fresh cucumber and finely chop the eggs. We also lay out the Ladies' Man salad in layers:

Salad “Pestrushka Chicken”

One of the interpretations of salad with chicken and prunes. It is also prepared with tomatoes, but we will prepare this salad with fresh cucumber.

  • Boiled chicken breast – 1 piece;
  • Prunes – 200 g;
  • Fresh cucumber – 1-2 pieces;
  • Cheese (hard) – 150 g;
  • Leaf lettuce - 4-5 leaves;
  • Mayonnaise and salt for dressing.

Preparation:

First, soak the prunes in warm water. While it is soaking there, separate the chicken fillet from the bones, lightly beat it and fry it in vegetable oil. Let the meat cool and cut it into strips.

We cut the cucumber and softened prunes into strips, and grate the cheese. Place all these products in a bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and mix well.

We lay out the lettuce leaves on a flat dish, and put the salad on top in a heap. Serve chilled.

Salad with chicken, prunes and pickled cucumber

Finally, we present to you a completely unexpected salad, in which instead of a fresh cucumber you put a salted one. Well, experiment, experiment!

  • Smoked chicken breast – 1 piece;
  • Pickled cucumber – 1 piece;
  • Prunes – 1 handful;
  • Eggs – 4 pieces;
  • Walnuts (kernels) – half a glass;
  • Mayonnaise and sour cream - for dressing.

Preparation:

Pour boiling water over the prunes and leave it for fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, boil the eggs, let them cool and chop finely. Separate the chicken meat from the bones and cut into strips, and also cut the pickled cucumber.

Grind the steamed prunes and walnuts. Place all ingredients in a salad bowl and season with sour cream and mayonnaise mixture.

Separate the meat pieces from the bones. We clean the cucumbers from the skin and outer covering.

After that, cut the cooked meat pieces and cucumbers into small cubes. Cut the prunes into strips.

The nut kernels are crushed and garlic is added for a pleasant taste. We put all the prepared products in a salad bowl, add a small amount of salt and mayonnaise to get a good taste, add sour cream and stir well.

Chicken breast is ideal for salad. Lean white meat with a minimum of fat compensates for the richness of other components of the dish and, in turn, becomes juicy thanks to them

Soak the prunes in warm water for 15–20 minutes. Wash the chicken breast, remove skin, bones and cartilage if necessary, place it in a saucepan, cover with water and add salt. Bring the liquid to a boil, reduce heat, simmer the meat, covered, for 15 minutes, then cool and chop. Place a smaller pan on the adjacent burner and hard-boil the eggs. Peel them from the shell, separate the yolks from the whites, mash the first with a fork, and grate the second on a coarse grater. Wash the cucumbers and prunes and cut them into small cubes. Grind the walnut kernels in a mortar or coffee grinder, but not to a powder.

Prepare a flat plate and place chicken on it. Cover it with a thin mesh of mayonnaise. Make a second tier of prunes and nuts. Create a third layer of protein, which is also coated with sauce. Do the same with the fourth layer of cucumber, then sprinkle the salad evenly with chicken yolk and decorate as you wish, for example, with halves of olives or cherry tomatoes. Refrigerate the salad for at least 3 hours to soak.

  • 300 g chicken meat
  • 150 g pickled cucumbers or gherkins
  • 100 g prunes
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 3–4 tbsp. canned green peas (without liquid)
  • 3 tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Boil chicken in salted water, hard-boiled eggs and carrots until soft

Finely chop the first, chop the second, leaving one yolk for decoration, grate the third. Pour hot water over the prunes for 5–10 minutes, then strain the liquid, wash the dried fruits and chop with a knife. Cut pickled cucumbers or gherkins into small slices. Remove the husk from the onion, chop it finely and pour boiling water over it so that the onion acquires a sweetish taste.

Divide the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture into three parts and mix each with chicken, eggs and chopped prunes. Assemble a layered salad on a beautiful platter, alternating foods: chicken, pickled cucumbers, onions, eggs, carrots, green peas, prunes. Decorate the resulting “cake” with the reserved yolk.

  • 300 g smoked chicken breast
  • 1 fresh cucumber
  • 100 g prunes
  • 300 g fresh mushrooms
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp. natural yogurt
  • 3 tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 tbsp. grated horseradish
  • vegetable oil
  • 10 g parsley

Peel and chop the onion. Heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion in it for 3 minutes. Rinse the mushrooms, drain in a colander, cut into thin slices and add to the pan. Add salt and cook everything together for 10–20 minutes, depending on the type of mushroom, until the liquid has completely evaporated. After this, drain the excess oil from the fried mushrooms. On the next burner, boil the eggs and fill them with cold water. Cut the smoked chicken breast and soaked prunes into cubes, chop the shelled eggs, keeping the yolks separate from the whites, and grate the cucumber.

Prepare the salad sauce by combining sour cream with yogurt in a small bowl and mixing the fermented milk mixture with horseradish. Divide the sauce into three parts and make the salad in the following order: chicken and sauce, cucumbers, fried mushrooms, whites and sauce, prunes and sauce, yolks. Sprinkle it with chopped parsley.

  • 400 g chicken fillet
  • 1 large fresh cucumber
  • 200 g prunes
  • 200 g potatoes
  • 300 g champignons (can be frozen)
  • 200 g hard cheese
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • 150 g 10% cream
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 10 g each fresh basil, dill and parsley
  • a pinch of ground white pepper
  • vegetable oil

Boil chicken fillet, hard-boiled eggs and potatoes (in salted water for 20 minutes). Soak the prunes by pouring boiling water over them and leaving for 15 minutes. Fry the chopped champignons in vegetable oil for 15 minutes and drain them in a colander so as not to load the salad with excess fat. Cut the potatoes, chicken and prunes into slices, and the cucumber into strips. Grate the peeled eggs and cheese on a coarse grater. Prepare 4 small salad bowls for serving appetizers in portions.

Make the sauce. To do this, whisk together yogurt and cream, mix with chopped onion, basil, dill and parsley. Add crushed garlic, white pepper and 0.5 tsp to the dressing. salt. 2. Prepare prunes. You can use smoked with a characteristic aroma or dried. If the prunes are too dry, pour boiling water over them and let them soak for 20-30 minutes. Then dry and finely chop.

3. Place the first layer of chopped chicken in a salad bowl. Lightly compact the pieces and brush with mayonnaise.

4. Lay out the prepared prunes, compact them, but there is no need to lubricate them with mayonnaise.

5. Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool, peel, grate on a coarse or fine grater, and place on a layer of prunes. Tamp down the potatoes and make a thin layer of mayonnaise.

  • Lemon juice – 30 ml.
  • Salt.

Cooking method:

  1. Boil chicken fillet with any spices. Disassemble into small fibers.
  2. Chop a fresh cucumber into strips. Roast the nuts. Chop any greens to taste. Crush the garlic.
  3. Soak the prunes. Sort and remove the pit. Cut each fruit into 6-8 pieces.
  4. Combine chicken fillet, cucumber, nuts, prunes.

Vegetarian salad with prunes and cucumber

A quick and easy appetizer for fish or poultry.

List of ingredients:

  • Sesame – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Fresh cucumber – 3 pcs.
  • Prunes – 150 g.
  • Cilantro, celery or parsley - 30 g.
  • Daikon radish – 200 g.
  • Garlic – 3 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml.
  • Salt.
  • Pepper.
  • Apple vinegar.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour hot water over the prunes. There is no need for boiling water, as the fruits will quickly become too soft. Sort and remove the pit. Cut into quarters.
  2. Chop the cucumber into thick strips. Divide the parsley or cilantro into separate leaves. Cut large leaves.
  3. Grate the Daikon radish using a “Korean” grater.
  4. Crush the garlic. Toast sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until pale caramel in color.
  5. Mix together fresh cucumber, prunes, radishes, sesame seeds, parsley.
  6. Season with crushed garlic, apple cider vinegar, oil and spices.

Salad with cucumber, prunes and shrimp

A spicy seafood salad for special occasions. You can make a snack with fresh or pickled cucumbers. In the latter version, a boiled egg and mayonnaise sauce will organically fit into the dish. Below is a light version of the salad with fresh vegetables and oil dressing.
